I was so young when the EDSA II happened. I was watching it on TV when Erap was ousted and finally get to visit and see it up close. Not the most spectacular landmark but one of the spectacular event that happened in the country. I like the design of the stairs.

Nothing beats this place for its serenity among the guzzle and buzzle of EDSA. The location, its architecture, the spiritual aspects, all feels well while attending the holy mass on a Sunday evening. Thanks to its choir, the music always sound heavenly. On top all, the wall painting and sculpture depicts the Philippine's up rise against the Rulers in the history. I was pleased to hear the story why the mother Mary's face in the out side large bronze sculpture made to looks sad and sorrow.

As a tourist attraction, this isn't the most spectacular destination, but it's worth checking out if you're nearby the Ortigas area, because it's free. The shrine has areas that are pretty high up from the ground that don't have any rails, so tourists with kids should always keep an eye on their little ones.

A peaceful resort in the middle of city bustled and hustled. EDSA is never slept. Having this shrine in its mid parts is call to always look for inner peace whatsoever things tense and press us.

Edsa shrine played an important part in Philippine history. They offer daily churches but preserving its surroundings and interio paintings are beneficial.

This chapel is a great place to celebrate Mass. However, you must get there early so that you can get a seat, This place does not have aircon but does have some fans, however, if you get unfortunate enough and not have a fan near you, you will become uncomfortably hot, especially due to the amount of people there. The priest is from France, and you can tell because he has an accent. He seems like a very nice priest, although it is hard to understand him as he is wearing a mask and also has an accent, so during our mask there were some subtitles but during the homily there weren't.

Amidst the business of its location, one can find peace of mind inside this church. It is not only a religious encounter but also reminscent of the historical past.

The Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, Our Lady of EDSA, or more popularly, the EDSA Shrine is a small church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila located at the intersection of Ortigas Avenue and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Barangay Ugong Norte, Quezon City. The church is also called the Archdiocesan Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace or Mary, Queen of Peace Quasi-Parish, although these names are seldom used. It is also a declared Important Cultural Property by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. Built in 1989 on donated land to commemorate the People Power Revolution, the shrine is the site of two peaceful demonstrations that toppled Presidents Ferdinand Marcos (the People Power Revolution or EDSA I) in 1986, and Joseph Estrada (the EDSA Revolution of 2001 or EDSA II). The EDSA Shrine is the northernmost tip of the Ortigas Center, a financial and commercial district occupying large tracts of land in Quezon City, Mandaluyong, and Pasig.

So clean shrine. They have vespers before the mass starts. BTW, I liked the people who served at the shrine and the people also were very friendly. It's a place of worship where you can go to the mall instantly especially after your Holy Day Obligation.

EDSA Shrine, a place worth seeing as it is part of Philippines History as one of the signs of bloodless revolution. Its near a mall so after some quick pictorials and prayer in the shrine cathedral you can grab a bite inside the mall, Robinsons Galleria. Been here doing Visita Iglesia with my parents. Solemn as it was. Parking is easy perhaps due to the Holy Week. Shrineโ€™s near to my heart as this is where my college days values were formed. Another visit (17th Nov). Solemn mass and crowd. Mixture of posh & Grass Roots crowd. Priest was solemn in his sermon. Better visit here with family and friends.

A Silent Nook with God along a busy EDSA. Amidst heavy traffic, a stop at this OASIS is truly rewarding. You will never come out not refreshed and recharged. Come, let us adore Him.

Nostalgic murals depicting people power, the peaceful revolution that led to the end of a 20 year dictatorship. Reminder that through peace and prayer there is hope. #neverforget

A solemn venue with historical significance. If you pay attention to the details, you'll see tidbits of history in and around the area. Parking is typically at Robinsons Galleria. There's a Baptismal chapel located at the right side near the washrooms. And if ever you need any further information, the cops stationed there are courteous and accommodating.

nice quiet place to reflect and meditate if there are no masses held.. the chapel has centralized air-conditioning system which is very great especially to cool off people travelling along the EDSA-Ortigas area and stopping by the place.. not much to see though aside from the enclosed roofless garden inside..

It's a good place to hear mass, as long as it's not too full. I recommend the 7am(?) mass since there aren't too many people (as long as it's not a religious holiday)
