Restaurant Cafe

👍 Spacious and comfy. There are also tables outside. One of their sections can be rented for special events. Parking space is maximized, which may cause a little hassle. Especially on heavy hours, they would call drivers to move their car to give way for another. People often mention good, coffee, nice, great, area, parking, cafe, time, friends, drinks,

We went here for coffee and dessert. The place was packed at 9pm and people were still coming. One good thing about the place is that they have parking space! We ordered 3 slices of cakes to go with our coffee and teas. The icing on the cake reminded me of devil's food cake from UP's Chocolate Kiss. It was good and sinful. They have a good selection of coffee and tea. There are also plenty of savory items in the menu.

Nice cafe tucked away from the busy street. Good variety of menu items and baked goods. Service is quick and friendly. Atmosphere/vibe can be improved and the seats could be more comfortable. The coffee and food we ordered were good but feels like its lacking something...

The place is nice. They have both indoor and outdoor spaces where you can stay and hang out. Their coffee is nice. I ordered Mr. Egoy pasta, the sauce is delicious paired with bacon I think. 😍

My friends and I were drawn to Kandle Cafe as it is aesthetically pleasing! Not only this, but they offered a nice range of desserts, meals and drinks. The food was great and everyone enjoyed their own orders. The surrounding greenery contributed to the beauty of the place, and let's not forget about the very cute neon sign outside that says "Enjoy Life, Eat Cake". A great and quaint catch up spot with barkada. Hopefully in the future, they can develop more desserts with dietary requirements (Vegan or No Egg or No Dairy or Gluten Free)

Best to go on weekday mornings when it’s not busy. It has a nice, large dining area with big windows showing their garden. The Kandle Burger was soft and flavorful and the top bun has an egg embedded in it lol. I also liked the kamote fries that came with it. Carrot cake bar is also good.

If you’re the type who likes to hang out in coffee shops to get your work or study done then you’ll love Kandle Cafe. The area is extremely spacious but that’s a relative term as no matter how much space you have, Manileños seem to know how to pack a spacious place. Apart from the ambience, it’s a decent place to get coffee, their lattes are hit and miss as I went there on 2 separate occasions where the first one was okay but the second was more milk than coffee. Their cakes are fine but really, you’re just here to hang out and chill.

Food is good. parking area have no personnel. will definitely visit again. Taste 9/10 Quality 9/10 Service 9/10 Ambiance 10/10 Price 10/10 Visited the place lunch time, made a reservation. indoor dinning is jam packed when we left the area, parking space is a problem for a big resto. so imagine if indoor, outdoor and function room is full.

Great ambiance, and great staff! They're open exactly at 11 AM, we just waited outside and the staff was kind enough to accommodate us right away. Food's good also but it's really salty. If you can lessen the salt, that would be great! Clean environment even though they're pet-friendly and good parking is also available. Definitely coming back here.

Absolutely loved our time here! The cakes and drinks hit the spot, with generous servings of coffee and tea – perfect for fueling a productive digital nomad work setup. The ambience is stunning, providing great vlogging and photography spots. Free wifi and helpful staff who explain the menu make it an ideal spot. Don't miss the diverse meal options, and if you're a bread lover, they have tasty options available for purchase. A delightful experience overall for our group.

Slow service. Staff not paying attention to customer needs maybe because this is a self service type of establishment. Once you have ordered and paid for the food, bahala ka na sa buhay mo. Food not served hot. Went around lunchtime with atleast 2-3 tables occupied. What more if the place is full? Think twice.

Having tasty cake with a cup of rich and aromatic coffee in Kandle Cafe in the Sunday afternoon is indeed an enjoyment. Kandle Cafe is a place with spacious space and a green garden outside. The music plays around is so soft and relaxed.

First time to dine here for the dinner and we made a reservation by messaging them and they are fast to reply and accommodate our booking. For a first time, we had a great experience. We ordered their Cheezy QC Maki, Mr. Egoy and Ms. Eggy Pasta, Pork Tonkatsu, and Salisbury Steak and all we're delicious and will make you really full! 💯 And, it's PET FRIENDLY, so we we're able to bring our 2 dogs with us. 💜💜 The service is also good. The staff are accommodating to our requests and easy to talk to. 10/10. Thank you! 😊

Had the chance to have dinner with family at this restaurant. Really good food! I recommend their Egoy Eggy Pasta. I also liked their Cheesy QC Maki. My son liked the Pork Tonkatsu. Their cakes are delicious - not too sweet. They have air-conditioned rooms and al fresco dining area. A plus is that the place is pet friendly. Btw, try their coffee, too!

The place has a nice ambience but the food was disappointing. The pasta sauce separated and was powdery. It was unpleasant to eat. I guess the maki was okay, but over time it became too saucy for my liking. The drinks were standard. Overall the menu is interestingly diverse. We were inclined to try so many items but after the first dining experience I don’t think we’ll be back.

This place offers good ambience, good food, and good tea and coffee. They're environment-friendly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They're always smiling. The one I can recommend is their Carrot Bar and Banana Chocolate Walnut and their Ceylon Tea Latte.

I found a nice cafe surrounded by greenery. Plants that can be seen from all the windows of the spacious shop.Eating while looking at it is very soothing. It would be great to have a cup of coffee on the outside terrace. I suddenly noticed the space between the tables…Oh, I see. Wheelchair users can move fleely. A friendly cafe for everyone!! I will come here again when I want to enjoy greenery. Aim for the window seat!

First time for me to visit here. Good food and coffee selection although they don't seem to have decaf options. Atmosphere is very young and trendy and wifi is superfast. I think it's the reason why many hang out here. Vibe is cozy and hip. I had hot choco and plain ensaymada and it was good. Can't wait to try their other selections. Parking in the area though can be restricted especially during busy hours.

Great place to hangout, chill, or be productive. They have lots of parking space, wifi, good coffee, and good food. The Cheezy Fried QC Maki has a good balance of texture and flavors. The clam chowder and pumpkin soup also have complex flavors aside from their main ingredients 😋

Food was fine for the price range, but I liked the ambience. Tried their bestseller, the “Mr. Eggoy and Ms. Eggy pasta”; Not my favorite, but it tasted unique and the texture was grainy. Looks like the place is a good spot for remote work because they have WiFi and sockets. Would like to try their coffee options and desserts next time.

The interior is a Relaxing cozy place to savor good coffee and tea. Tea serving comes in a pot can be shared. They have food, cakes and cold drinks as well. However, the hallway going into the main cafe look and feels like you are entering thru the back door.. stocks and carton boxes as well as cooler or fridge line the corridor. Very unsightly

I was so surprised with the alfresco dining cafe experience with Kandle Cafe.😍 I was not expecting to have a green environment cafe within the city, it was so relaxing to dine especially with the very yummylicious slice of cakes and a cup of ice cold coffee.👌🏻😋

Food was 4/5, it was just okay. We started it off with their Seafood Chowder- good for 2 people, it was creamy and tasteful. We ordered their bestseller, "Mr. Eggoy and Ms. Eggy Pasta," it tasted unique, there was a hint of salted egg to it, the texture was a bit grainy, and there's umay factor to it. I had the Tonkatsu- the serving was big but didn't really like the presentation because the sauce was everywhere. Also had the Chicken BBQ- the serving was also big and flavor was just okay. The ambiance was nice, there were a lot of sockets. There was enough parking space as well.

At 1st it's something unexpected within the city. Alfresco with healthy unique food right beside the bustling main road around mother ignacia. You will often see the big gate and wall everytime you drive yet you seldom see the hidden entrance to this amazing garden cafe. Affordable and delicious food you can hangout with your friends and family. You can pass by and ask the helpful staff for the hidden parking space in the gate instead of the 4 parking slot upfront their kitchen. A must visit for your coffee and unique blue ternate drinks

  • 5/5 Cassie M. 3 years ago on Google
Really great vibe. There is parking just outside their cafe. During the quarantine you can order outside via their booth and pay as you order. Then they will give you the claim number and you can sit where you please in their indoor or outdoor seating. The food was fantastic and you can stay for hours catching up with old friends or family you haven’t seen since the lockdowns. Bring your own alcohol, wet wipes and tissue as their toilets don’t seem to have this and their soap is a bit watered down to work so it shouldn’t be a problem if you have your own sanitisers. Overall I would recommend this place! The food comes in boxes and they only use disposable spoons and forks so if this bothers you bring your own utensils.

What is supposed to be a remarkable experience turned to be a disappointment. I tried going there before the lockdown as i happen to chance a slot on the parking area and i was excited at first. They are practising the protocols alright as their ordering counter is far away from the dining area and the area is enclosed. After i placed my order and paying at the counter, i walked on a few steps to the dining area and i was delighted by their al fresco setup . Problem is, there are mosquitoes around and good thing, the server gave me a candle burner to keep these bugs away. The food...This was supposed to be their forte, but the steak i ordered which was supposed to be well done, is tough and hard to slice. That really turned me off. So, i didn't get to finish it. It spoiled my appetite. The price is not that cheap for me to merit such a treatment. Well, im not going to discuss any further as maybe it is just a one time experience. I'll just say that the place is nice and picture worthy. But their CR is small for such a big place. That's about all.

Ordered the mr. Eggy (?) Pasta and enjoyed it. It was really creamy, especially once you break open the egg yolk and mixed it in. Although, I didn't taste any salted egg flavor and only knew later on from the menu description that it was supposed to be that. Nonetheless,I liked it. For drinks, the matcha latte was a bit too sweet for me. The place and ambiance is super nice!

Surprise nice and cozy cafe to hang out during brunch time when is no crowded. We walk on a friday around 12 noon. Food are nice and surprisingly the Ebe ensaymada is nice. Which at first I thought is not nice. As I have high expectations on my favorite ensaymada. But after tasting I would said is not my likely n nice. Staffs are friendly. There are power plug mostly at the indoor seat. So for those who want to come here for a cozy hang out place using laptop will be nice. I was able to charge my camera while I’m eating. Cos I forget to charge last night. Hahaha. Price for me is reason. As it cost around $22 sing dollar for 2 persons. Which include drink and dessert. I’m a happy person. Will visit here for the UBE ensaymada for sure. Took a grab here as is not very accessible if u not driving.

Nov 2022: First time here...food is okay but it can still be improved especially their sauces. The salad vinaigrette is unbalanced, it's super sour. The sauce for the porterhouse steak is not good, it has a thin consistency. On the other hand, the pumpkin soup is thickened with cornstarch. It's way too much it looks like paste. And the steak is not that tender. The cookie is good and chocolate cake is moist. Overall, it's a miss for me.

  • 2/5 Gyranne R. 1 year ago on Google
OK food and drinks. Terrible service. Mains arrived and appetizer (salad) is still not served. We have to follow it up as well as the rice that is supposed to be served along with the mains. Salad arrived (for sharing) but we were not given plates. You have to ask for everything, plates, utensils and water which are basic in any resto. Food looks different from their pics on facebook as well. Overall not coming back again.

We brought our friend for a date few months ago at Kandle. The venue is very very pleasing although we had hard time parking our vehicle. Kandle recognized my reservation although they misspelled my name and displayed it onn a reserved table. Now the food. I had a simple slab of meat, nothing too special croquettes were good tho and the other one that I can't remember anymore (not that good) Coffees were good but they served mine with some spills on the saucer. Then we had slices of cake that we will always remember. Wife didn't like the salted caramel cake as they took it to the next level, literally sprinkling large salt crystals into the outer layer of the cake. I also wanted to share this experience but I am not really blaming the restaurant. The next morning, I had a terrible diarrhea and ruined our anniversary date. My wife and I shared all the food we ate the whole day of visit except for the porterhouse I ordered. Let me know what you think.

This is a pleasant and very specious cafe in Quezon City. They serve coffee, juices, tea, cakes and pastries and more. They also serve light meals. Parking is available in front and the toilets are very clean. There's a garden Al fresco area which is nice. This is a nice date place and the prices aren't expensive.

Love the ambiance, the food, and the service. You won't believe that you are just in the middle of Metro Manila. I would have given a perfect score but there's just too many mosquitoes! I suggest they put up a pond with fishes to decrease the breeding grounds of these.

Industrial themed interiors. Very nice and comfortable. Menu selection was fresh, making it difficult to choose which one to get. Was quite pleased with the home made burger patties. Downside is that they don't serve any soft drinks, not even with the burgers.

One of the best places to hang out, be it with your family, friends, and other loved ones! They have the most attentive and friendly staff, wide selection in the menu, lots of drinks and desserts option, indoor and outdoor seating, adequate lighting, parking spaces, and great ambiance and decor! You can definitely make it your go-to spot for having drinks (be it alcoholic or caffeinated), studying, or just chilling with your friends. It's definitely an oasis garden in the Metro, centrally located right in the heart of Mo. Ignacia. You definitely won't regret dropping by!

Must try: chicken + salad + tortilla (forgot the name, but check it out on the picture). I like their style of California Maki: in cheese sauce. Price is a bit high but it's worth it. You are not only paying for the food. You also pay for the ambiance and its nature-friendly place. Not much outlets, though, for those who will go here to study.

I could be biased for my rating but I am always going around the Metro looking for places to study. Overall, the place looks really good. They have a garden area that looks really chill. If you want a different set up while studying, I'd recommend this place. They also have an air-conditioned area which tends to get really cold so bring a jacket. The food is good too! I ordered their fried chicken adobo pasta which did not dissappoint. You get what you pay for. Not really bland but also not really striking. I like their pastries tho. Their mango ensaymada got that creamy, really good texture. Will definitely go back to try the other pastries. Their cold brew coffee is good. Does not stand out but it's good. Will try other variety next time. 5 stars for a really good tita bonding moment but 4 stars for my experience in studying as I really needed wifi but their wifi is too slow, I ended up using my data. There are also few sockets. Guess you're lucky if those spots are empty.

Overrated... Too noisy, seems you're eating in food court... Didn't enjoy their Porterhouse. Was having a hard time slicing it... Beef Sirloin wasn't that hot even if it was on a sizzling plate... Served with plastic cup of water with their pricey food. Amazing!

It was a nice experience to dine in this cafe. The food was delicious. The staff were accommodating. The ambiance was so refreshing, calming and relaxing because of the plants and trees. There was also an aquarium. However, sometimes the music is so loud that it is not relaxing anymore. The outside tables are comfortable too because they provided electric fans and electric mosquito killers. I'd probably dine again.
