One of my favourite watering holes, bar pintxos makes refreshingly excellent white or red sangria as well as delectable savoury tapas that pair very well together for a delightful light dinner after a crazy work week. This place isn't cheap but I feel they provide excellent value considering the prices and quality of food they serve. Location is excellent and convenient

The place is cozy. Food is superb. I love their white sangria. It is better than the red sangria. Paella is delish.

They serve good food! Though a bit on the high side but its all worth it! Serving is also small. Best to order is their foie gras and hamon iberico! Of course do not forget the wine. Enjoy eating!

Quaint tapas bar with a cool vibe. If Rambla beyond Salcedo park is upscale with a clean tropical feel, this place will feel a little scuffed but metropolitan cool. Think of a bar along Colon near the beach in Barcelona instead of fancy dining along Passeig de Gracia. The food is reheated, but flavorful and fairly priced. The kitchen is slow but they do their best. It was a busy night. They ran out of paella mixto which is such a thing in Manila. The waitstaff were okay. The wine selection could be more expansive (paltry compared to Terry at the next building). Cocktails and hard drinkers will have more choice. The sangria was mediocre. The 2017 Malbec was just okay. We had a bottle of Protos Reserva when we last visited (which Terry also stocks). Go for that. Check for house specials which are off the regular menu. We had chorizo + gambas and beef cheeks. They were wonderful surprises. The chorizo + gambas had great balanced flavor and texture but was reheated. The cheeks dish was tender and flavorful and, while reheated, was otherwise well executed. The bread was too rustic, almost stale, but the sauce was too good! I always liked their lengua, even if reheated. To finish, try the Crema Catalana. They took forever to make ours, but when it came, it was perfectly torched, fluffy inside, and with just the perfect hint of zest. It had a clean disk of cream on top for consuelo. Budget Php 500 to Php 800 per head before drinks.

I came here during Sunday and it's so quite and cozy. Surrounded with Spanish music and friendly staff who recommended me for their signature Pintxos pale ale (beer) and their famous rice with shrimp and chicken. Taste so good and the beer taste quite different with the other beers as well. Wow, I'll visit to here for sure again by next time 😎

By visiting this nice restaurant you immediately feel that you are in Spain, and in particular in the Basque country. Pintxos and any main course are great. Delicious and tasty. The staff is very polite, professional and efficient. If you are at least two adults eating together, try Txakoli Basque white wine.

Croquetas and octopus were nice and tasty. The gambas was okay but definitely could have been tastier. The beef ribs with chimichurri was very dry, wouldn’t recommend this one. The service was good but there was almost no one in the restaurant on a Sunday night!

The baby squid deep fried is superb. Cruncy and juicy in the same time. The Lengua is also good and chewy.

This place came highly recommended by a friend. We came on a Sunday night and it was fairly quiet, which did surprise us. We ordered the jamon croquettas, which we really liked. We also had the beef short rib, the gambas al ajillo, pulpo a la gallega. Everything was good, but the beef short rib was a little bit dry, and the chimichurri on it was a bit underwhelming. I might be picking on it because it was the most expensive item we ordered, but everything else we ordered was great. Overall, the ambience was nice, staff was very attentive.

Food here was really good especially the squid paella and salad. Chicken was salty so not going to order that the next time. We also had some Engkanto beers. Service was good :)

Their fried eggplant with honey is a must try. Very sulit for its price. The fried rice bowl with egg and chorizo is so-so, although my friend was very satisfied. The saltiness of the chorizo blended very well with the friend rice.

Bar Pintxos offers a great experience in terms of food, drinks and ambience. The prices are reasonable, the food is great (even offers vegan choices), and the selection of drinks are aplenty. This place is great with company or even if you are alone and just want to try their dishes. Kudos to the operations manager for upping the ambience. This place is a definite must try in Salcedo, Makati!

Tried the Bar Pintxos in salcedo, need to find this place using maps. Ambience is ok. Petite size resto. Tried the following tapas: Chirozo frito - tastes good Salpicao - little spicy but tastes good Gambas al ajillo - Calamares ala plancha- seared squid. Looks unique and tastes ok Chopito frito- looks like the typical calamares and this is very salty Paella mixta - good for 2-3 people and tastes good (Edited April 2022) adding new pictures here because i think the resto has a new location. The menu seems to be different than the one i went to previously.. Went to bar pintxos in salcedo. Nice place, and the tables are very well positioned inside that maintains social distancing. First off, make sure you are aware that pintxos are literally just a slice of bread with some topping, just to set your expectation. Anyhow, got the Butiffarra pintxo, it was so-so, didnt taste the allioli and salsa though. Their Chorizo croquetas are really good. Just the right crispiness and the ooziness of the sauce inside. The Paella mixta is also okay, portion is good for 1 hungry person, or can be shared by 2. Overall, the place looks nice. Food is okay.

Reasonable priced and delicious tapas. The deco is kind of too “hard” and it can get loud and noisy when people are talking to each other

Taste is good. But food tiny. And echoes loud.

Food's worth it for the price! 😁 Another plus for the great staff service, good interior and spacious resto! 😊👌👍

Reservation available. Not much space for parking. Warm and yellow light. Few sitting capacity for comfort. Tables are clean and not sticky. During our visit, the wire is being setup, distubing the guests. Employees are not attentive, looking afar or confused. A little over price for the taste of food and the mode of service.

Affordable Spanish eats in Makati. Really enjoyed their food. Patatas bravas was divine, unfortunately I didn't take a picture of it. I wish they had more options for white wine by the glass. The name of the first beer also made me chuckle.

👍👍 One of the best steak restaurant in Makati. The service quality is high, the staff is well disciplined. The food itself is well checked before serving.
