Lan Zhou La Mien is a groovey little Chinese Restaurant located in the Binondo District of Manila. This is the world's oldest Chinatown. A little historical note for you all. My kaibigan Sidney is the one who introduced me to this place and I am glad that he did. The food here is really amazing. They are famous for their lamien. It is so favorable and the noodles they put in it are nice and thick. Not skimpy like at some of these intimation Chinese places that you'd find in Makati. Oh no, no. I recommend that you try their fish lamien. That is my favorite. It is so masarap. But then again they are all masarap. The staff is nice and friendly. But not pushy in anyway. They are not trying to up sell or any of that nonsense. I hate it when waiters and waitresses try to do that. "For $2 more you can add a flying turd with your noodles" and blah, blah, blah. Here they just take your order, bring your food, and then leave you alone to enjoy it. But they will refill your water glass for you. So if you want to eat some delicious Chinese food at a place with friendly service, a groovey atmosphere, and prices that won't break your wallet, I highly suggest that you visit Lau Zhou La Mien in Binondo. If you prefer cheap imitation joints with rip off prices, I suggest that you stay in Makati. Salamat for reading my review. Until next time may the force be with you.

Food is very delicious! But your crew/staff looks dirty! Please require them to wear shoes.. Most of them are wearing slippers and they have very dirty feet! ๐Ÿ˜ซ

After a long and tiring morning walking around Divisoria, we were looking for a place to eat. We decided to go to this place based on the crowd. We figured it serves good food since there were a lot of people eating inside and we were right! Itโ€™s one of the best places for noodles. I also love the black vinegar that they have (if only I know where to buy that since the waitress said they donโ€™t sell it). Everyone in our group liked what they ordered and were satisfied.

Bit costly but worth the price!! 500 php for 2 persons..... This place has a nice variety of Chinese dishes to choose from..... as a foreigner I feel this place really gives your taste buds a treat!! They also provide soup which comes in beef and chicken flavors.... If you are near the intramuros you should really visit this place as it's the best !!

The place may be small but the restoraunt offers big portions of food. As you can see from the menu, they offer a lot of great choices. I ordered Beef lamien and within 10 minutes they already served the food. I wasn't dissapointed in my choice because the broth is so good and the noodles are amazing in their texture and consistency. A great place to eat in Divisoria!

My favorite chinese resto of all time! Really love their beef Kan Pan noodles! It costs 300.00, good for one person but it's super delicious. Noodles are hand pulled noodles, you can see the chefs making noodles and cooking them so you can assure it's cleanliness. U just have to wait in queue sometimes coz it's gained popularity. They also have no reservations and doesn't have parking. I remember this only cost 180 before the pandemic. ๐Ÿ˜…

We have been here 4 years ago and I am very much happy to say that it is still the same ~ sumptuous food and excellent service. For the prices of their food, it is a little bit expensive given that we only ordered 15 pcs of the steamed dumplings & the spareribs lamien(not sure if it is correct). We paid 600 pesos for it. But for us, it is definitely worth it and they have bigger portions of food. Also, they will/you can ask for extra soup for your noodles. We love it! Not salty, savory and fresh. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ Worth every dime.

Beef Wanton Lamien Beef Wanton Lamien has generous toppings with sweet and beefy broth, tender beef and al dente noodles and vegies. Each sip of their soup will surely give you a refreshing and satisfied feeling. A bowlful of Beef Wanton Soup costs Php 230. Steamed Dumpling LAN Zhou La Mien's steamed dumpling has well seasoned pork and kutchay filling. You can choose from 7 pieces dumpling (Php 120) and 15 pieces dumpling (Php 280). Both Beef Wanton Lamien and Steamed Dumpling is good for 2 servings.

a simple Chinese noodle house. You can actually see how your noodle is made from a large mass of dough. Their special is beef noodle. it's good for the price.

BEEF LAMIEN IS MY FAVORITE AND DON'T FORGET THEIR STEAM DUMPLINGS. The flavour of the soup is very herby but also beefy. And their dumplings are just the best. If you dont have a big stomach like me lol. you can tell the waiters to half your noodles with someone.

One of the must try places in a Binondo food trip or Divisoria shopping break. Its noodles are hand pulled and the broth is very tasty. Big servings and affordable. Not much for ambience. Itโ€™s a no nonsense place where you get your food, eat it, and go. The service isnโ€™t much either. ;)

The foods are delicious and fresh. Hand made noodles was made just before serving it to you. Though the place was small and foods are kinda pricey but worth it. The service is also fast

Price: Affordable and serving is good for 2 Location: it's in the inner part of Manila Chinatown. Ambience: Authentic Chinese ambience but it would be best if they play a Chinese songs or Melody. Staff: Accommodating but require training on best manners. They should be at least neat and feet must be clean even if they wear sandals. Food: Truly Chinese hand pulled noodles with very tender beef.

Lan Zhou La Mien is a place where a family can enjoy good food. They serve food while it's steaming hot and they have accommodating crew ready to serve you. If you like chinese cuisine, relaxing place to meet up with your friends, or maybe you just want to enjoy a bowl of good noodle soup? Then this place is for you.

(Translated by Google) Local ramen shop in Chinatown Gyoza is recommended. There are about 20 in one dish. Ramen and fried rice were also delicious. One plate costs about 300 yen, so if you go with friends, you can eat a lot of different types at a cheap price. Great noodle place in binondo! The consistency and texture of their noodles are incredible, which may be because they are handpulled in-store. Ordered this beef noodle soup and was pleasantly surprised. It wasnโ€™t as rich-tasting and heavy as I expected it to be. Plus, a bowl is big enough to share between two people

Good noodle place... this place uses fresh noodles (you can tell theyre not the instant noodle kind). Noodles come in big servings, 1 for hungry growing persons or can be shared by two (just ask the waiter to get you two separate bowls).
