This is Mamou 3.0 inside Ayala the 30th. This branch is not inside Podium. The few times I ate here, the food was almost always outstanding. Eating here again this month did not disappoint; but even exceeded my expectations. Their steaks have been consistently delicious through the years. The portions can be daunting for someone not used to 400 g steaks; but they were so good, I finished mine by myself. It was well seasoned, juicy, and medium rare. They let you choose two side dishes of your choice. The rice fried in lamb fat was deep in umami. (Make sure your blood pressure meds are on hand. Haha.) The other side dish I chose was their cinnamon saba. The cinnamon added a whole dimension of flavor than just brown sugar alone. I also highly recommend their vegetable, mushroom, and barley soup. It was a wonderful medley of flavors I found to be so good. Prices are expensive; but the food worth it. I'm glad they seem to be thriving after so many months of lockdown due to the pandemic.

Their steak is really worth it and the 180g is already enough for 2 persons. Their truffle pasta is really light.

This review is going to be for only 1 dish - Lobster Tails. I ordered it to see what it's like here and to my surprise, the dish smelled really fishy when it came out. I understand that seafood - especially boiled seafood - will have some sort of smell. But it should not smell extremely fishy! The smell reminded me of being at the fish section of a wet market! Taste-wise, the dish was ok. Not great, not good...just ok. They served it with 2 sauces - garlic vinegar and lemon butter. The lemon butter sauce just had too much lemon flavour that you couldn't make out the taste of the butter anymore. The garlic vinegar was as expected. Based on this experience, I don't think I'll be back to try their other dishes (which may very well be fine).

Came by to take out Lamb Tapa, Alex Fried Chicken and my favorite Dalandan Mint. Everything was yummy — but maybe next time I’ll skip the Fried Chicken. Service is as always 💯

There is a bit of a story here. The first steak (pic 1) arrived and it was tough. After asking the waiter to poke a fork in it, he whisked it away and arrived with the second steak, which was as good as any top steak I've had in the Philippines. Our server, then the store manager, Joel, then the sister of the owner, came by to check on our replacement steak. They clearly care about their quality. The last pic is what my fiancée gave me, and a cupcake Mamou gave me with an awesome birthday song ("Mamou Birthday to you!") to match. The kazoo made it fun and the balloons were a nice touch. So: Service: 6 stars (perfect) Food: 4 stars (it still isn't Omaha steak, and I am steak snob); side dishes were all great; servings are massive. Service water tastes great (hey, that matters!) Price: 4 stars (top tier pricing means food should be 5 stars) Thanks Mamou. I'll be back.

Best steakhouse in Manila. For our post-Valentine dinner, we ordered the dry aged T-bone steak and truffle cream pasta. Aside from the great food, what we love here is how attentive the staff is. Plus points also for being pet friendly since they have al fresco dining in their Ayala 30th branch.

Newest branch of an old-time favorite. ❤️ Mamou never fails to make any occasion extra special. It was a reunion with lifelong friends and that same night, we’ve encountered one of the owners, Tita Annie with her friends who also came from a high school reunion. The quality of food also gives a feeling of nostalgia. It remained true to its great flavors. Ordered the usual combo: Greens (P295), Lorenzo’s Truffle Pasta (P395), and 35oz Porterhouse (P3990). The food and amicable service makes up for the price point.

Mamou is and has always been one of the best places to have steak in Metro Manila. They focus on using USDA Prime beef for their 28 day dry aged steaks and these have always been very delicious. I think they are responsible for setting the trend for some dishes in Manila such as steak rice, creamed Spanish, truffle pasta and key lime pie. They didn't invent these but their versions were so good that other restaurants started adding these to their menus as well. This branch is located inside Ayala on the 30th mall and has both and Al Fresco dining area as well as an air conditioned area. The restaurant actually covers two areas here

We usually always order steak when we dine at Mamou’s but on this particular day, I decided to just order salmon. The fish was cooked perfectly but the veggies were a bit tasteless.

They don’t disappoint! From the appetizers to their signature dishes like the Truffle cream pasta, Lobster tails and of course their dry aged Porterhouse steak, Mamou doesn’t disappoint. Worth the price and you get excellent service too! Definitely a must visit place for special occasions.

We had an amazing time at Mamou's Restaurant in Ayala The 30th, Pasig City. We treated ourselves to their mouthwatering Barcia strips, juicy Angus rib-eye steak, and the indulgent Lorenzo's Truffle Cream. It was a bit pricey, setting us back 4000+ pesos, but every bite was worth it. Mamou's offers a culinary experience that you won't regret splurging on!

First time to try Mamou, I could say that this restaurant is worth trying when you have the budget or celebrating with loved ones. Their steak is mouthwatering and delightful! 🤤 The truffle cream pasta is also really delicious. We also ordered their kurobuta sinigang, they made us taste the soup first if it's already to our liking before serving -- that's a plus! And some barcia strips -- this one's serving could be better. Also they can still improve on their ambience and interiors. But overall, it's a great experience! ☺️

Just about a late lunch because we arrived after the appetizer, hearing a virtual mass at home first. The lunch was for a post-birthday celebration of the wife's nephew. Of course, the nephew's wife plotted the secret happy birthday serenade from the Mamou staff. We had a (double and even a tad triple) variety of food for sharing. Food ordered surpassed the minimum 15-person requirement to be able to avail their private room. Beer-battered fish, Bolognese pasta, slightly-well-done steaks in oil with first order fries and then second-order with mashed-potatos. Let's not forget the Sea Bass. The moderately-priced right amount of food for this in-law family group. All worth it.

Deteriorated. The waiter forgot my white wine order even after 3 followups! The appetizer of cheese, honey, and some kind of salami, is so skimpy that it looks pathetic. The steamed lapu-lapu is magnificent, but the rest? Roast chicken, fried chicken, fish and chips, all meh tasteless. It wasn't like this before.

It was a special day so we decided to go all out. If you've seen the menu, you'll know what I mean. 😉 The wait staff are very friendly and very attentive. All your orders are customizable. When they ask you the doneness of your steak, they will show you your steak once it comes out of the kitchen. If you want it further cooked, you can send the whole steak back or the particular piece that you want cooked more. We also got to choose our live lobster, subject to availability of course. We skipped the king crab 🤑 because we didn't want to go over board, just all out. 😅 Maybe next time on another special occasion and if we have more people with us. 🤔 We also ordered a take out of their sinigang, and the kitchen sent a sample of the broth to our table for us to check the level of sourness before they cook the entire entree. It was perfect, the level of acidity and sourness. For my experience, I can't emphasize enough that the service was superb from start to finish. I wouldn't mind coming back just for the service alone. 😁

Mamou is our go-to place whenever we want to celebrate - birthday, promotion or just about any life milestone. Order the perfect combo - steak, steak rice, Lorenzo’s truffle pasta and a glass of wine.

Excellent steak as always and truffle pasta. The eggs Benedict (salmon) was salty. Grilled salmon was perfectly cooked. Service was a little slow although it was understandable because the place was packed on a Sunday lunch. Would definitely recommend going here instead of the bgc/Rockwell branches to beat the traffic. The restaurant is on the small side though and can get crowded very quickly.

Finally got to try Mamou. With the combine effort from me and my siblings we treated our dad on his birthday here in Mamou. He is a steak lover so this was one was of the top pick by the team. Mamou 3.0 is the 3rd branch (kaya may 3.0 haha) and located in Ayala 30th. Reservation is highly recommended even on weekdays. They've got two sitting during dinner. We got the 1st sitting at 1800H-2000H. If there are people planning to dine on the 2nd sitting they'll politely inform you about it. So you can prepare about it. Here are the dishes we got. 🍞Bread Basket - Bread palang panalo na! My mom got a few rounds of this as expected how much she loves eating bread. 🥗Healdsburg's Harvest (335PHP) - to start it of we got this salad. Very simple looking not the over topped toppings kind of salad. The secret to this salad is its delicious dressing Berry Vinaigrette. Love it! 🍝Lorenzo's Truffle Cream (395PHP) - another look can be deceiving kind of dish. This is the most plain looking pasta I've ever seen but behold the camouflage truffle cream is ready to surprise you. Love this flavor packed pasta. Fan of truffle will surely love this. 🥩28 Day Dry Aged Porterhouse Steak (35oz-3990PHP) - Oooh this is a beauty! Steaklover dream. Cooked perfectly at medium rare. Tender and seasoned well. Can't get enough of this steak! Overall it was an expensive meal but brought a big smile to my dad face.

The restaurant has a separate dining area with no connection to the main restaurant called mamou 3.5. They created this makeshift dining area to accommodate more people but it definitely sacrificed alot. Despite the paying 8000+ pesos for two, the restaurant's ambiance was a disappointment with its glaringly bright lighting and stark lack of decor, creating an uninspiring and uncomfortable dining experience.
