Reservations are very easy to do. Very accommodating staffs not to mention uberly polite. Food was spectacular, though serving or portion could be improved given its price range. Nonetheless, it was as an awesome experience.

I'm sad. The food is unpleasant. Appetizers are not that great. They have no oysters when I went here. That might be their saving grace but I'm expecting all of their food in their menu is great given that you put it up there. Don't get me wrong the servers are really proactive, they know what they're doing even before you tell them. Ambiance is minimalist but not simple enough to be boring. This is why I'm sad, the food didn't brought this place to justice.

It’s rare to truly find comfort food in Asia when you are from the USA. The burger really tasted like home, wifey order her seafood dishes that consisted of baked oysters and a shrimp dish. It’s in makati on a small street but totally a great small gem.

One of my favorite local restaurants! MIJO’s steak paella, gindara, and lamb chops are just a few of the dishes that I keep going back for. Everything’s very flavorful and the fusion of East meets West just hits the spot.

It's one of those overpriced pobla restos with so-so food. Mediocre food for its price. And worst part, we waited almost 2 hours to get our food! I think they were understaffed that night, but how I wish they told us so that we could've transferred elsewhere to eat. The waiters and staff were very corteous and apologetic tho. They tried very hard to pacify our hunger.

Want a fine dining experience even if eating at home? Get platters from Mijo Comfort Food! I got Aligue Gambas and Beef Pot Roast. Such a delight and so delicious! The former is grilled shrimp in crabfat. The latter is top quality beef in creamy truffle potato mash

This restaurant is severly overrated. We tried their gambas and there wasn't anything unique about it. Next, we tried the lamb chop paella, and honestly it was quite disappointing to eat paella with overcooked rice at the bottom, especially for a restaurant with an educated chef. If you serve paella like this, it's insulting to the customer, as it is the most important thing that you don't want to happen to your paella. Secondly, the flavors were all over the place that you have to gather them all together in order to experience the taste that they were going for. If you don't get all the ingredients together in a spoon, it will just taste out of place. So you have to consciously eat it to get a pleasant experience. This is sad, to think this is one of their most recommended dishes. I did appreciate them opening 20 minutes earlier for us early birds at least, and the waiter was quite attentive, so you won't have to worry about the service since they treat customers very well. I don't know about their drinks (people say it's good, but we don't consume alcohol), but this is definitely not a place to go to if you are looking for "comfort" food.

[21OCT] we had our dinner + celebratory event after hosting a metaverse event here. There is enough parking space for 5 cars. Food is good, servers are friendly. We had the place for ourselves almost feels like a private event lols. Wasnt able tot ake much food pics as the group is hungry, but testimanials from them are positive :) I had the gindara, it ia so good and filling.

Excellent service, very good food overall. Cochinillo croquettes could have been tastier, but on the other hand the smashed burger, duck-fried rice with low temp egg and creamy spinach were delicious. Would surely recommend it.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Mantra! We were immediately drawn to the charming and welcoming ambiance of the restaurant, and the food, drinks, and service continued to impress us. We started off with drinks which were not only beautifully presented but also tasted great! Our favorites were the Sidhartha and the Buko Pandan Cooler. With many traditional dishes and even some with a modern twist, there were plenty of options to choose from, even as a vegetarian. All of the food was served hot and fresh, and the green pea tikki and kur kuri bindhi were to die for! I had never seen unique dishes like these before; they are a must try at Mantra! On top of that, the paneer tikka was some of the best I have ever had across many different Indian restaurants in various countries. I highly recommend a visit to Mantra while in Manila!

Absolutely fabulous food and ambience. Being a vegetarian, while overseas, I have often struggled to find many veg options that everyone that I am dining with wants to eat. This was not the case at Mantra. The kur kure bindi was delicious. The bindi arrived hot and was extremely crispy and flavorful. Although it was initially ordered as a veg option, everyone in our group had seconds. Additionally, the dal makhani was so authentic and well done; it was by far the one of the best dal makhani dishes that I have eaten. I can say with confidence, having eaten in countless Indian restaurants, that Mantra is the pinnacle of Indian food done well.

Excellent food and service at Mantra - was highly impressed with its balance of modern and traditional Indian cuisine. We visited on a busy night. Let me just say that I have eaten in several Indian restaurants overseas, and Mantra is probably the best restaurant, serving the most authentic and high quality Indian food outside of India, that I have ever eaten in. The naans and rotis were crispy, freshly made, hot, and delicious. The green pea tikkis were a definite favorite, and the paneer tikkas are by far the best that I have eaten. The butter chicken was tangy and tender. My daughter also commented that the Siddhartha cocktail was the best cocktail that she has ever had. We will definitely dine at Mantra again and recommend it to all who visit Manila.

Place is a bit difficult to find for first time guests; but the place is very homey and comfortable. Very inviting ambiance. The food tastes great and serving size is just right; however, if you visit before their peak hours, make sure to ask for the evening menu because the menu they show you by default is not very diverse.

If you are an American visiting Asia, it can be difficult to find genuine comfort food. The seafood dishes my wifey ordered, including baked oysters and a shrimp dish, definitely tasted like home. It is located in Makati on a tiny street, but it is a true hidden gem.

I guess it's fine especially if you just want to have a chill time. They close at 1AM.

I loved everything about the restaurant. The food, the drinks, ambience and the service! Their aachari chicken tikka is perfect in taste, it’s juicy and tangy. Dal Makhni is one of best I’ve had in Manila, just the right amount of creaminess and so full of flavour! Also Mutton pepper fry is super juicy, soft and flavourful. They serve tandoori roti so it was a bonus!

The owner of this place is a great guy, quite reserved in nature , but he surely cares about Indian guests, thumps up bro.
