Perfect place to enjoy a pice ofnature, lots of room to sit and enjoy. Place is surrounded with busy streets but gives an relaxing environment. Post office building in background has great architecture. Are around fountain is a perfect place for kids to run around. Trees are decorated with lights and give a perfect ambiance. Unfortunately didn't have much time to enjoy this space more but am looking forward revisiting. LRT station is close by while jeepneys are right there as well as a bout at Pasig rives, so commuting to this place should not be a problem.

A good place to go and walk around with your family and friends. If you love history, I'm sure you'll love this place because it's near to post office and Intramuros. And this place also improved it is clean now compare in the past year.

A beautiful landmark in Manila where you can find Philpost, and walking distance to Jones Bridge, Metropolitan Theater, Intramuros, Kartilya, Kapetolyo, and SM City Manila.

Learned that this used to be a Chinese enclave outside the walls of Intramuros. Now a park often filled with people enjoying the sights and sounds (besides the pollution) of the city. The fountain treats you with a little show, just be careful of your surroundings especially at night.

It is a public space located nearby the Post Office building which features the monument of Gat. Andres Bonifacio - Philippine patriot and revolutionary who was born also in another district of Manila - which is Tondo. The Liwasan also features a circular fountain. This public place is frequented by people from all walks of life.

Nice place just in case you need to drop off from a connecting tour; there's a public loo and food stalls you can check out right before you take the next bus or UV. But, don't expect extravagance on this area of Lawton as it's quite not well maintained by the local government at this time.

Good place to relax and appreciate the nature. On the contrast, maraming pulubi lang ang nagkalat dito. Also, this is where located the buses if you will going in Cavite. They offer bus rides going to Tagaytay.

Liwasang Bonifacio is a prominent public square located in the heart of Manila, Philippines. Named after the country's national hero, AndrΓ©s Bonifacio, this historical landmark serves as a testament to the struggles and aspirations of the Filipino people. It not only pays homage to the heroism of Bonifacio but also stands as a vibrant recreational space for locals and tourists alike. One cannot help but be struck by the grandeur and significance of Liwasang Bonifacio upon arrival. I think a bit of maintenance will do the place real good. Actually I’m updating a 5 star rating from about 3 years ago when the place was much more presentable. Now its rather neglected

Liwasang Bonifacio is the place for public demonstrations. You can see the statue of Gat Andres Bonifacio. This is just opposite the Philippines Post Office Building. The area is unkempt with many homeless using the fountain to wash.

Its the park right in front of the Post Office. The park or should I say nook right across the street is worth going to. The one that leads to the underpass

Just meeting with someone for the Payment! 😊 I saw many people who have an undecent home to live and my heart felt sad because of that. Hope the government of the Manila City will give an action to that situation of poor people near at this Plaza! 😊 😊 😊 PRAY FOR OUR LORD GOD! 😊 😊 😊

Good place to have a talk and to pass time for free but there's nothing fancy about this place and you can only buy drinks and some junkfoods, cupcakes in sari sari store style stall around the park. Better yet to go to Rizal Park if you want a better place.

  • 3/5 Richard F. 2 years ago on Google
Fronting the Philippine Post Office headquarters, this area is a historical Landmark and is where three bridges namely Jones Bridge, Ayala bridge and Santa Cruz bridge all converge at over at Lawton. There's a nice and grand fountain right across the postal office. Parking can be challenging here and I'd recommend a companion walking around.

This is a wide and spacious spot where a monument to Andres Bonifacio takes center stage. Behind it is the Central Post Office and it is flanked by Jones Bridge to the left and McArthur Bridge on the right.

First time i went here was in college, we were shooting for a film. Got the chance to comeback to watch a performance, place got waaaay better with the lights on. Park felt safe and doesnt smell urine unlike before. Still alot of homeless and stray dogs i hope manila LGU help relocate them in a safer space in the city

The cashier lines are too long. They should have an express lane for 1 to 5 items only. They also not observe the lane exclusively for cold items. Even customers without cold or frozen items are.allowed to use that lane.

The best place for meet-up. But take note if you want to get to SM MANILA or Manila City Hall you need to take get through 2 underpass coz Yorme already closed the passage here to avoid foot traffic and accidents. You'll find the first underpass near the Lawton Police Station.

Plaza Lawton is an open park , located opposite the impressive Manila Post Office There is some Manila Monuments located within the park Surely wasn’t easy getting to the park , due to needing to cross over busy roads & using under ground / road pedestrian walkways There was lots of poverty stricken children & families using this park daily ( as I’ve been through the park before )

A good rendezvous where many public utility vehicles are meeting at their terminals in Lawton. A zumba for everyone in front of the Post Office Building. A place to start your Intramuros tour where there's Manila Metropolitan Theater at the other side.
