The pomp and pageantry of the Catholic mass rituals were on full display in this evening’s mass. From the grand entrance of the priests and sacristans to the lightings and flower arrangements at the altar and that marvelous choir! If this is not a piece of heaven then I do not know what is. Never have I seen a very massive church be filled up on a Saturday vigil mass. And only now have I noticed that the Sto Domingo Church (or Our Lady of dela Naval) is very big and so conducive to prayer (not air conditioned though natural air and that coming from the numerous wall fans suffice). Have a blessed week ahead to all!

Possibly the church in Metro Manila with the most ground for open parking. Santo Domingo Church, formally known as the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, is the biggest church in Metro Manila by capacity. In the Philippines, it is beaten by no less than the Taal Cathedral. The present church is the sixth iteration--the past five were lost to fire, earthquakes, and war. With address along Quezon Avenue, it is a church-convent-school-events place in one.

This gigantic Church is perfect for weddings with brides who want long isles for their March. A good place to reflect and do your daily Prayers and masses. Under the Dominican Order, the Priests here deliver very relevant and meaningful Homilies (and short!!). I love praying to Our Lady of La Naval and I also the fact that their Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel is open 24/7. In Metro Manila there are very few Adoration Chapels that are open for 24/7

Huge and solemn church in the middle of the city-buzz and is easily accessible to anyone around QC. Have good parking space for more than 30 cars.

Always gives calmness and peace whenever I get the chance to visit. One of my go to churches during the month of October. I’m forever in awe every time I gaze at the face of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.

My previous visit here was before the pandemic. It's still a religious sanctuary along the hectic and snarly Quezon Avenue. The mass I attended kept within an hour which I appreciate. The grounds are pleasant to walk at and we actually managed to get a snack at Cafe Inggo while waiting for the mass. Overall, if you haven't been here, it's worth a visit. It has plenty of parking even during busy Sundays. To the Dominicans, it's time to have a repaint. Air-conditioning too, budget-permitting.

This is my dream wedding church! One of the biggest church I have ever been, Santo Domingo Church will always be my favorite church to pray for the Blessed Virgin Mary. I started praying through the intercession of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary-La Naval de Manila, during my College years and hopefully, I can continue this devotion, 'til I get married with my girlfriend, and build a Catholic family and breathe my last. Will go back here again as soon as possible. I miss you Nay!

Was here for a wedding ceremony this 11/27/2021 Nice ambience and structure for prayer and worship. Very Uplifting. Unfortunately, encountered a rude guard at the entrance. Somewhat mood ruining. Well, temptation and evil do lurk around even in sacred places of worship.

Santo Domingo Church is a large chruch that also houses the Dominican Studentate, the Santo Domingo Convent, the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of La Naval de Manila, and the Santo Domingo Parish. It attracts a large number of massgoers and it is known to be one of the Motherhouse of the Dominican Province of the Philippines. The church is also offers a columbarium where people have to keep their loved ones ashes in the same dignity as to being buried below the ground. The friars are known to be accommodating to the people and would also invite people to discern their vocations here.

Whenever I need spiritual guidance and prayers for my friends, I usually visit the place. The location is very easy to go to, and when you are inside the church, it feels like your from a different place. Feels like a church from the province within the metro.

A good place to pray and meditate. Peaceful, quiet, and soul comforting. A sanctuary amidst the busy urban center along Quezon Avenue. The place is huge like a palace, and as if you're going back to the Spanish era as the church is classic. Come during weekdays as there are very few visitors. Parking is free.

  • 5/5 Jel F. 3 years ago on Google
Just had our vehicle blessed to night after the evening mass. Car blessing is done every after mass, you can check the mass schedule online. Just go to the office by the adoration chaple and inform the desk attendant that you want to have your car blessed. The blessing did not take long, and priest was polite. After the blessing we just gave our donation. It's that easy 😊 Its better to have your car blessed during the weekdays since parking space now is limited.

During pandemic, the Church authorities properly comply health protocols and they let the parishioners comply too like putting tracing contact forms for us to fill up, Erected Thermostat to place your hand the result will be dispmayed before entering Inside the Church, which is solemn and very spiritually blissful. Going to Santo Domingo Church not only during pandemic, will make your spiritual well-being is strong and the faith that that God exists and controls everything.
