Great
Anytime
Fitness
branch
located
on
the
5th
floor
of
Holiday
Inn
Ortigas.
As
you
look
out
of
the
gym,
you
get
decent
views
of
the
streets
and
buildings
of
Ortigas
CBD.
Pay
parking
is
courtesy
of
the
Robinson's
Galleria
basement
parking,
but
an
area
is
dedicated
for
those
who
are
going
to
the
hotel
specifically.
If
there
was
one
thing
I
could
suggest,
perhaps
providing
validated
parking
for
the
gym
members
would
convince
more
people
to
go
to
this
branch
more
regularly.
I
will
get
one
other
con
out
of
the
way,
and
that
is
the
smell
of
the
entire
hotel.
You
will
notice
it
immediately
after
entering
the
hotel
from
the
basement
parking.
It
is
that
typical
funky
and
unpleasant
smell
that
old
hotels
tend
to
have.
I
am
not
sure
how
the
hotel
can
address
this,
but
it
would
be
great
if
they
can.
As
for
the
gym
itself,
it
is
very
good
and
can
suit
nearly
all
of
my
training
needs.
The
space
allotted
for
them
in
that
floor
is
not
the
biggest,
but
they
made
efficient
use
of
that
space
to
provide
a
lot
of
equipment.
They
managed
to
fit
in
plate-loaded
machines
for
leg
press,
seated
chest
press,
and
seated
rows;
all
of
which
I
think
are
a
must-have
in
a
commercial
gym
like
AF.
There
are
two
squat
racks,
plus
a
smith
machine.
Their
machines
(Life
Fitness)
and
dumbbells
are
in
great
condition,
with
minimal
wear
from
my
experience.
The
only
glaring
omission
I
can
see
is
the
lack
of
a
deadlift
platform,
having
which
would
help
avoid
creating
too
much
noise
and
attention
brought
about
by
heavy
deadlifts,
especially
in
a
place
like
a
hotel.
Plates
are
decent
in
amount,
but
may
still
get
used
up
if
and
when
the
gym
gets
very
busy.
The
staff
are
kind
and
friendly.
Their
music
playlist
is
also
good,
and
not
obnoxiously
loud
for
those
who
prefer
to
listen
to
their
own
music.
The
place
is
kept
clean
and
pleasant
to
do
workouts
in.
Their
air-conditioning
is
good
for
those
who
want
a
colder
gym,
no
leaks
from
my
observation.
What
adds
to
the
unique
factor
of
this
branch
compared
to
most
other
local
AF
branches
is
that
it
is
located
in
a
hotel.
In
this
branch,
it
is
clearly
felt
in
the
way
their
bathrooms/locker
area/showers
are
situated.
They
are
located
on
the
other
side
of
the
hallway
of
the
same
floor,
close
to
the
swimming
pool
area.
It
is
a
more
traditional
large
changing
area
and
not
the
typical
individual
room
layout.
To
go
there,
one
must
exit
the
gym
and
head
across
the
hallway.
The
door
to
that
area
can
be
closed,
and
is
accessible
via
the
keyfob.
So
do
not
forget
to
bring
your
keyfob
with
you
when
going
to
and
from
the
locker
area.
Those
who
use
the
hotel's
swimming
pool
also
use
this
area,
so
the
floor
may
be
wet
every
now
and
then;
just
be
wary
to
avoid
slipping.
Speaking
of
which,
I
read
on
previous
reviews
that
the
hotel's
swimming
pool
is
also
accessible
for
the
AF
members.
Perhaps
I
can
also
give
that
a
try
next
time,
and
every
now
and
then.
Overall,
my
experience
at
this
AF
branch
is
very
good!
