Do not support this place. The animals kept here was utterly bored and depraved of food. Mold in the water This place should be shut down. This is so unacceptable. You can see the picture of the lion where there’s disgusting mold in the water and the alligators have 0 water it’s all dried up

A mini zoo in Tagaytay. It features animals, birds and aquariums. A vista of the Taal lake on the eastern side of tge development. With commercial stalls souvenir shops, and snack areas. Php 199.00 entrance fee for adults and Php 149 for children 3-4 feet tall. An ample parking is available.

Good place to bring the kids and get them to hand feed certain animals. The zoo is about old and would benefit a freshen up. There is a wide variety of animals on show, from monkeys, goats, horses (which you can hand feed) to lions & tigers (which you can't hand feed.) There is also a cafe / restaurant onsite at the zoo with a great view of the countryside below, where you can rest and relax after walking around seeing all the animals. It must be noted that the whole zoo precinct is built on the side of the mountain, so there is abit of elevated ground to cover via stairs and raised pathways. Definitely not suitable for people in wheelchairs or those that find it hard to walk long distances on hilly ground.

COVID-19 Update: The place offers view of the Taal lake. However, it can clearly be seen that the animals in this zoo is not well taken care of. I am supporting this zoo since maybe, they need more funds to keep the place alive. The zoo looks depressing. Zipline is not operational. Although it looks a good place to take a picture for picturesque view. No face mask/no face shield means no entry Entrance - Php200/head or take tha package Php599 with unli samgyupsal from Samgyupsalamat Restroom - Yes no oatment just be sure to bring your own tissue (looks like the place is not taken care of) Parking - Yes Tooke few photos, the place really looks depressing and unmaintained. I hope this place will relive again.

Pros 1. Didn't expect much but they had more animals than what I thought they had. 2. Feedings. You can feed goats, donkeys, tortoises, even yourself. Cons 1. Literally done within an hour. 2. Maintenance. Could use a renovation. 3. Oh, and I saw huge rats running around. It's a zoo anyway so never mind.

I don't like zoos in general because they are mistreating the animals.. Lions and tigers are supposed to be in the wild..if they are rescuing them, they should've returned them when they were better not to cage them and put them for shows 😢 They've got a st.bernard that hasn't been given a bath I don't know for how long

Nothing has changed for more than 20 years, the animal cages are still small as before, some are decrepit, and the animals, especially the ponies, tigers, and lions looks sad. The glass cages for the reptiles have plastic/fake grass 😔. Some aquariums are dirty, and without anything on it. Visited on a weekday, not much visitors. Oh, and there are now lots of souvenir stores even inside, and a samgyup restaurant (closed that day), those are maybe the only change after 20 years? The name describes it best, Zoori. As in Sorry?

I went to this zoo, There we’re not many animals, the animals were in poor health, And there was multiple animals in small cages, every thing costs money even taking pictures with birds. The aquariums were filthy and never been cleaned and there were little animals and a lot of them weren’t even special but the view was great

Residence Inn Mini Zoo is located at Tagaytay City it is along the highway. This place is one of the popular place here in the Philippines. I have so much fun here together with my daughter, son inlaw, grand daughter, grand son and my husband . We enjoy to look around inside the zoo . They have more animals like camel, snakes, kind of birds, pony, some spicies, kind of fish, horse, pigs, lion, tiger, goat, zip line, horse back riding .They have also some souvenir stall inside, they have also different foods , snacks, candies and pack of pasalubong. They have also a police grand patrol to secure all over the are of the zoo. They have also ambulance to stand by incase they have an emergency. They have parking fee and entrance fee. That's all i have contribute as my personal experience as today August 20, 2023

The area has a lot of animals and activities you can do. There are camel rides, zip lines activity, animal show, and even photo with the animal. The entrance range from 200+ for adult and kids. Foods stalls are also available all around the area so you dont need to bring any or you may drop by to any nearby restaurants withing the area. It is not that big to explore but kids may enjoy to have an encounter with the animals. Restrooms are available and clean. Overall, the area is good for family.

The place looks dated, and many of the animals look depressed. There's a show at 11 am that showcases some animals. Apart from the entrance fee, you'll need to pay to take photos or otherwise interact with some animals (such as feeding birds).

Worst zoo I’ve ever been to. It’s blatant animal abuse. The animals live in small cramped cages with no room to roam around. All the cages are dirty and not well kept. They even have a small tiger that is chained up and forced to take pictures with tourists. It’s a shame that people pay money and enjoy going to this zoo. The animals deserve better than what this zoo offers. The tigers and lions are forced to lay around all day because they have no room to go anywhere. If you have any sense of dignity and respect for wildlife do not come to this zoo.

It is not your typical zoo wherein you can enjoy a large area. It is also not the best zoo since it is indoor only. Very few animals. YET,we enjoyed it!! specially that in this zoo,we were able to feed a lot of animals!!! My daughter was very happy because she was able to feed the crodiles, fishes, guinea pigs, donkey, goats, sheep, pigs and tortoise! It is also clean and i not that smelly unlike many zoo's. Staff are friendly as well. You are allowed to eat on their small dining area on the 2nd floor. The foods for the animals are also cheap for only 50 php. I would recommend this zoo to my friends :) good job Ark avilon zoo

august 10, 2016 , the incident happened at the entrance when i approached the guard. I ask the guard on duty about an inquiry and he responded to me but what bothers me is that he responded with an attitude,,,a really bad attitude even the employees of the hospital posses undesirable attitude. i would like to raise this concern to the management of the hospital to give immediate corrective action to further prevent incidents like this. i would like to stress out also that they are working for the GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL therefore they should be APPROACHABLE, HOSPITABLE AND SERVICE ORIENTED PEOPLE. i am hoping for a positive response with regards to this matter...thank you very much

Animals are poorly treated and sitting in small cages. Most of the animals are alone in their cage or it is overpopulated. You can't see most of the animals because the windows are dirty.

Its not a wonderful experience for me cause it makes me sad seeing the animals there they look so sad and sick. The cages were dirty and unclean and the animals look like they're not really taken cared for. The cages are also to small for the animals like tigers and they really have nothing to entertain themselves. I think instead of putting large shops and resto they should focus on giving the animals proper enclosures. I also don't like that they force the snake to still take pictures with peoples even if i noticed that the snake is really stressed out cause it wrapped around my neck. Also the dog that they have is so dirty and smelly idk if they even bathe him poor dog .

I didnt actually stay at Residence Inn Mini Zoo. But we took a tour on Zoori which is smelly; with limited animals for a fairly high price per adult (Php 199.00); with staff who are not so accommodating, except for the photographer. Zoori needs more maintenance and a better management perhaps.

The place is simple yet houses a variety of animals - Tigers, Lions, Camel, Crocodiles, Horses, Ponies, Peacocks, Different kinds of Birds, Amphibians, Fishes and Snakes. I hope this business grows as well so they can create and maintain bigger enclosures for the animals. The view is immaculate and the service for the in-house restaurant is impeccable. Souvenirs and Activities (Zipline, Shows and Picture taking) is available onsite as well. If you will be availing their accommodation take note that the stairs leading to the rooms is steep.

We came here to see the Zoo and its quite ok though not really spacious.. and just like the other comments, I didn't like the way that most animals there doesn't look healthy [or happy] aside from the fact that its not really clean. 😟 But what I like is the interaction I get with some animals. Nothing's special with the animal show but it's good. Will probably go back to visit again. 😊😊

Pay to get in then pay to do anything else once inside. See exotic animals such as the Goldfish and Rabbit kept in cages and tanks far too small and dirty for them. Would not recommend at all.

  • 3/5 Uwe L. 1 year ago on Google
It's a small exhibition that leads you through different sections rith activities. The sad thing is, that many of these require additional payment. For example the zip line is only accessible after paying the entrance fee and then charges 150 php for the ride and 150 php for the cable car going back. You can easily walk to the end station or vice versa, since the distance is just about 300 meters and nearly level!

The place looks run down and not really well kept. There was one area where the ramp was very thin and rusty and if it breaks you'd fall down into the crocodille/alligator enclosure. Animals look pretty sad and malnourished (I guess thats goes for any zoo naman). Over all not worth going to.

  • 4/5 Kristine S. 5 years ago on Google
The place is small but we enjoyed how near the animals. I can almost touch the lion but dared not to (lol). I don't know why there are lot of bad reviews in tripadvisor about this place but I find it otherwise. My kids enjoyed feeding some animals. The smell is not good because of the animal poop but it's the normal smell of the zoo but some reviews were OA. Good thing I ignored those reviews and still visit this place. It's not dirty imo. There are no bears, elephants, hippos, coz the place is small but the animals we saw there satisfied our expectations. This zoo is better than Paradizoo because you only see farm animals there. Anyways, I'm sure your children will enjoy here and I'm not going to spoil the attractions. It's for you to find out if you are a first timer. I gave 4 stars because the receptionist told us there was an 11 o'clock show but we wasted our 30mins waiting but nada! No show.

I really hate this hospital because of their service. My mother died due to septic shock because of their delayed and poor service. I regret why I brought my mom to this hospital because I trust them that they are semi government and the university is my alma mater which I have trust to those staffs. But ended up like, what others felt disappointment and experienced unsatisfaction . If you need to go to a hospital, better not in this hospital, because in this current situation, you will end but dead and dust.

DON'T GO TO THIS ZOO!!!! Surprised when we arrived, we went weekdays so animals were inside their cages (they say most activities like camel riding, horse riding etc are held every weekend, so we couldn't try those.) I believe only 2 group visitors including us were only there. The animals like lions, tigers, camels, monkeys and other animals look depressed. The cages are too small for their sizes and poorly maintained, animals look dehydrated, it was even sunny in the afternoon esp. lions/tigers are skinny, feces are all over and stank like heck. It even seemed like the animals could eat more if visitors buy their feed. Meanwhile, you wouldn't be able to see aquariums and their containers from being blurry and dirty. They don't seem to have a scheduled cleaning :( Instead of enjoying our trip, we were disappointed and saddened from what we saw :( poor animals. Also the photo picture would cost you about 1k for 3 photos which were overly priced haha. Hope this zoo closes down and needs to stop operating. Please don't go to this zoo, and if you can make a review, pls rate them 1 so ppl be discouraged going :( and we can help these animals.
