Ambience : Cozy and standard Service : Professional, friendly & perfect Dishes : Unique & authentic Prices : Totally worth it First time here and tried their recommended DISCOVER SET MENU and it's really worth (except the desserts are pretty sweet). Had been extra order a steak and it's really juicy and tender. Perfect place for couples or gathering but remember to make reservation and bring your vaccination card. There's also a pretty cute cat lying by the front door. :-)

This was the most disappointing experience I've ever had. For a place to call itself "fine dining" and charge such high prices, you'd expect it would deliver on some basic quality. But no. This chef is a giant pile of disappointments. First, the portions are extremely small. You're paying more than 2,000 for a tiny piece of duck that looks more like an appetizer than a main dish. It's absolutely not worth it. Second, the service is extremely slow. The course meal took more than an hour and a half and we didn't even get to dessert yet. There's a 15-20 minute wait between courses. How is that fine dining? You're supposed to time the courses to come out as the diner is finishing the previous one. Third, the quality of the food and cooking is terrible. Our quail came out raw. Our pork came out like chewy rubber. This costs 2,000? We couldn't even chew the meat. Fourth and worst of all, the management and the chef give you the worst excuses instead of simply admitting to their faults. The chef kept saying, no, the quail is not raw, it's supposed to be pink. No, it wasn't pink. It was blood red raw. I wish I had taken a picture. The manager kept saying, no, it's supposed to take a long time. And I kept repeating the question, should it take more than an hour and a half? And she couldn't say anything. Why couldn't you just admit your faults? That's just awful. Don't come here. It's a complete waste of time.

Do enjoy most of my visits here. Love the lobster spaghettini, sunchoke and Hamachi starters, duck and iberico mains. Dessert could be better.

After a friend said that the tasting/set menu wasn’t that good, we decided to with the a la carte. Interiors are pleasant. Service is of course good. What I remember is how delicious that seafood appetizers were - the lobster spaghettini and uni risotto. The main course (my wife and I ordered seafood) was so-so in relation to the seafood appetizers. Maybe we should have tried the meat main course. Overall ok. But if we’re comparing new high-end restos like Toyo, Gallery by Chele, and Metronome which all require downpayments prior to eating - you should choose Chele.

I had the most wonderful lunch at Metronome. We took our friend for her birthday and I am so happy we went for lunch! I love the menu options they provided for lunch. There was a bistro menu where you can choose a la carte dishes, a Main set menu that includes a starter, main and dessert or you can choose from a selected menu of dishes taken from their dinner menu. We opted to order from both. Our table started with the French Onion soup, which was so rich and satisfying a great start to lunch. (I was surprised they still had it on the menu especially with the onion shortage it is hard to find onions in Manila right now!). I absolutely loved the egg small plate/starter, it was so pretty we didn’t want to mix it all together. But it was one of my favorite dishes. 64° egg, cèpes and truffle cream, mushroom, potato purée, spring roll wrappers that were cut and looked like crispy noodles. It sounds like a rich and heavy starter but it was surprisingly light and so wonderful I couldn’t just have one bite. For the main dish our table ordered the Halibut, Spaghettini & Duck. We were very happy with all three. Each was very different my favorite was the Spaghettini and the Halibut - you can tell Chef Miko but her heart and soul into the menu. We ended with the chocolate mousse (I always have to order chocolate mousse at a French restaurant.) and coffee. It was a perfect ending to our lunch. The restaurant interior, vibe and the lunch service was so lovely. Bravo Metronome - I can’t wait to come back for dinner.

Hidden gem in the heart of Makati! Celebrated their 3rd year anniversary last week with a three-days-only anniversary menu. A collaboration between Chef Miko and her team to showcase their growth and talent. The amuse bouche really set the tone of the whole course! They have a bar and makes really good drinks, they have a private room too for parties of 10?. They maximized their space and looks like that of France restaurants. Parking on the street. Everybody is attentive to your needs, they even lend me a cellphone holder. I may have just found my new favorite restaurant in Makati!

Well known for quality French cuisine, they now have a new avatar called Lazy Oeuf by Metronome serving light French dishes. We picked up an excellent Ratatouille in Brioche & a top class Truffle and 4-cheese Quiche. Excellent taste! Banana Praline Bread Pudding was ok

Food tastes amazing. Hands down quality ingredients and great cooking and service. Although the food is a bit small portioned. I would definitely come back again just for the taste. It is worth the time and money. Find the full rating at @munch.buuunch on Instagram!

Perfect fine-dining experience. The food, the ambience, the impeccable service all played their part in this wonderful and delicious meal. The bread basket to start with was great; this included pan de pinipig from Panaderya Toyo, a mini baguette from The Daily Knead, Sourdough from Manila Bake & Metronome’s brioche. The Escargot was very good. I prefer it to still be inside its shell but this was delish atop a puff pastry with foie gras that is semi-cooked & parmesan foam. The “EGG” had a 64 degree egg with cepes and truffle cream. Mushroom & potato puree. So silky smooth. The Prime rib was perfectly seared and tender. The French quail was sublime with the soy & tamarind and foie gras sauces. Just the perfect melange of flavors. A great choice if you are celebrating a special occasion.

food and service are superb; wine selection, excellent. Cocktails, too! You’ll have to go back more than once to try all the small plates. The eggplant veloute, the uni and the quail dishes are the less obvious must try’s.

Perfect rib eye (entrecote) and onglet. Melts in your mouth. Flavorful down to the last fiber. Mashed potato with truffle oil is the best. So smooth and tasty. A must try to all. Officially opens on August 15. Not mention their very kind staff.

Went to Metronome to celebrate a birthday with family, and they did not disappoint! The service was impeccable, and provided one of the rare times in Manila where they serve everyone’s course at the same time. The food was great, a welcome addition to the restaurant scene. I would not hesitate to go back!

Went with their Tasting Menu (pre-order). We were seven in the group and went in for dinner. We all enjoyed the food!! Each dish was unique on its own and is very tasty. The restaurant is true to its roots as a French with a modern twist :) most of my companions favorite is the langoustine croustillant! Do also try their cocktails hehe really very good you wouldnt be disappointed. Will surely be back to have a go with their lunch service and also to try other items they offer ala carte :) It was a fantastic time at Metronome.

My most favorite restaurant in Manila. Small food portions but exquisite, paired with well trained staff and customer service. The food and the people top notch. Will keep coming back.

It's strange to say the potatoes puree is the best of the meal. All is perfect and good, but the puree is just amazing. It's a 6 stars restaurant, my new favourite place in Manila

Happy we tried Metronome which opened relatively recent (August 2019). Great French food, simple in concept but great in execution, super tasty in a classy but modern setting. We went for lunch: set lunch menu is excellent and very good value for money, additional lunch options are more expensive as they feature “luxury food” like butter poached lobster :). Highly recommended, we’ll be back (soon)!

The venue was excellent. Food was good but was not the "super awesome" flavor I would expect for the price :)

The whole experience was amazing. The service was good. They were always attentive, friendly, and polite. The restaurant is charming and posh. The food is delicious. I would like to go back and try all their small plates. My favorites were the Foie gras, Uni, and the hamachi. It’s a bit pricey, but the taste of the food and the service make up for it.

My new favorite lunch place. Their burger is a must try, if you want to level it up ask for foie gras. Their desserts are good too and perfect with a good cup of coffee

Totally amazing inspired 12-course curated dinner at the recent Meyronome 6-Hands Filipinas event by Miko Calo, Margarita Fores, and Johanna Siy. It was so delightful to savor new takes on Ulang RiverPrawns, Ukoy with Italian Shrimps, a super umami Abalone, and 3 Crabs in a dish. Wow. What a memorable dining experience by these wonderful Filipina chefs!
