I
originally
ordered
(1/2)
roasted
chicken
with
2
sides
-
garlic
mashed
potatoes
and
extra
chimichuri
with
the
latter
being
included
as
a
side
option.
Total
is
PHp
419.00.
By
the
time
the
rider
arrived
in
the
restaurant
to
pick
up
my
order,
I
received
a
call
from
the
rider
which
was
then
passed
on
to
the
restaurant
staff
saying
that
the
chimichuri
will
be
charged
extra
contradicting
what
was
in
their
Lalafood
menu.
I
thought
it
was
okay
and
decided
to
find
an
alternative
instead
of
paying
extra.
I
ended
up
choosing
coleslaw.
When
the
rider
arrived
and
handed
me
over
the
receipt
with
a
total
of
Php
448.33,
he
then
asked
me
if
I
was
informed
by
the
staff
that
there
would
be
an
extra
“takeaway”
charge?
I
said
no.
To
my
dismay,
I
blurted
out
to
the
rider
without
blaming
him
about
the
situation
that
I
should
be
the
one
informed
about
the
price
increase
because
obviously
I
was
the
one
who
placed
the
order🙄
I
rang
the
restaurant
in
their
Ebro
St
branch
and
filed
a
complaint
about
the
price
discrepancy.
I
was
passed
on
to
two
staffs
who
were
both
incompetent
before
speaking
directly
to
the
manager.
I
tried
to
explain
the
scenario
again
to
the
manager
until
he
cut
me
off
blaming
the
rider
for
not
informing
me
about
the
price
discrepancy.
I
told
him
I
should
be
the
one
informed
not
the
rider.
I
wasn’t
informed
by
the
staff
in
the
get
go.
Hence,
I
was
bill
shocked!
He
insisted
I
should
pay
for
the
price
listed
in
the
receipt
but
I
stood
my
ground
and
said
no!
If
you
have
issues
with
the
pricing,
fix
it
with
Lalafood
and
don’t
let
your
customers
shoulder
your
pricing
issues.
That’s
totally
and
utterly
unprofessional
and
absurd!
I
won’t
let
the
innocent
rider
pay
for
the
price
difference
because
of
your
negligence.
You
also
lied
about
the
extra
charge
as
a
takeaway
fee
but
nothing
on
the
receipt
says
anything
like
that!
Horrible
experience.
