The apparatus and machines used for medical examinations are top of the line. Their facilities are clean. The prices of their services are quite expensive as compared to other hospitals but it is justified by the good quality. They have sufficient parking spaces. Php50.00 for the first three hours. Every customer for Out-patient Department have to make online reservations. They have a website for that.

Ever since the MVP group took over, they've done a handful of renovations such as the new ward wings, reorganization of administrative offices, and the supplication of additional parking--which they heavily needed back then. I'm not sure when it started but apparently they have two ticket gates already at the entrance, to quickly serve the queue of vehicles coming from Wilson. The exit is also rerouted now to the other side, where you'll just circle the hospital premises and avoid incoming traffic. Compared to other medical institutions though, it would remain small. Though as long as their services go top notch, it will remain a great hospital that's able to cater to the needs of the immediate community, and even those in the outskirts of San Juan, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City wanting private yet affordable care.

Worst hospital ever. Dont ever try their ER. I came to check my 3months cough. And they just checked my blood and asked some question and i paid it for 8,500?? I came there to check my lungs give me xray and check my saliva. But the doctor said that not needed. Im very disapointed.

The hospital and staff did an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE job of taking care of my grandmother. She is no longer here BECAUSE of them. If you want to deal with inexperienced nurses, incompetent hospital staff, and so called "doctors" of medicine lie and tell you your loved one is fine and stable and you see them and it contradicts everything you've been told, this is the place. They do NOT care about their patients. If you love someone and want them to get the best care, this place is not it.

Service - 9.5/10 So far nurses and doctors are great! Nurses were very accomodating and nice! Admission - 9/10 Quite efficient and fast! Rooms - 4/10 Currently staying and the first we observed is a lot of mosquitoes inside our room! Managed to kill several but still seeing a few more! (Have attached some photos and mosquitoes i killed!) They called the pest control apparently but seems not yet solved! Need to ensure safety of my wife and newborn baby.. Kettle isn't working too.. Next is water heater isn't working! My wife wife needs to use that really badly.. These are just basic stuff that needs to be addressed.. Please look into this matter as this is pretty basic!

A family of mine was admitted here (during covid) yet the illness reported was not prioritised. The patient has a positive result in their swab, but aysmptomatic. Yet, when admitted, almost all the tests done daily were not for the main concern of the patient (worse: multiple tests done in a day were the same and result was all normal). The provided specialized doctor, was not a doctor from this hospital, thus never attended to the patient, and the hospital staff can't provide an update regarding the patients illness, as the doctor they've given was not their staff. Medical staffs who attend to the patient (as the patient was alone due to covid) can't explain properly to the patient the purpose of the laboratory tests as the doctor/s who requested it were not around and they were not told the specifics of these requests. The main concern of the patient when admitted was never resolved, even staying in the hospital for almost a week. Another one is the billing, as we've checked and confirmed the itemized billing statement, there were laboratory tests that were CHARGED IN ADVANCE!! which shouldn't happen as this laboratory/tests should be charged when already facilitated, if we never checked it thoroughly, we would have been billed way more than what is done. Laboratory tests are OVERCHARGED, compared to other better private hospitals. They even have a daily COVID CARE charge where its not itemized on to what this is, and has 3 different name (covid care, covid care package, ppe uniform) which is charged daily at least 20k, where in fact, the doctors and nurses rarely check the patient, and provides medication which are not needed. This hospital has been way more concerned with their money instead of the patient since the pandemic hits the country. WORSE HOSPITAL WE'VE BEEN TO!!

The services are good but staff are so unproffessional. Last year in october i been there and noticed that staffs and everybody there are talking and gossiping of one lady. very pervert guards outside talking to the girl inside the hospital. Gosh its a catholic hospital dude where are your ethics Pope have even have an image on way going inside the hospital but funny to know people inside working there have no respect doing that to a certain girl whos inside the hospital .nursing station are having feast on gossips gosh.. I really know exactly that girl though im not related to her but yes they are feasting about a different story such constractive stories. And they just keep laughing all time. I was thinking to talk with them when im there but yes i was so busy i feel sorry i wasnt able to talk with that rude staffs. Cardinal medical center please tell your staff to respect anyone not just because she's a maid or look poor but that hospital should have a high ethics on respecting people its a Catholic hospital. Dont hire evil employees or staff or even pervert guards.

Money before anything else in this hospital sad to say. They don't do follow ups even if you pay excessive amount of money during your stay unless you give them more money to check up on you. Truly not all doctors are respectfully noble.

Dont go here when you have emergency. They will force you to be admitted. They overcharge. Doubling the charges of needles etc. Count everything theyll use. 7k for basic ultrasound and doctor charges who arent even around. They only get good looking interns but works without compassion.its ok to pay high if the service is good.

I have mixed reviews because hospital is very expensive. Spent 3 wks at the hospital. Some good doctors but also found worst pulmo doctor Dr Marian Francisco from pulmo. She just sent us home and to hell with us to figure out how to use the oxygen tank. We have zero medical background. The said doctor was not after treating the patient but just send them home to be dependent on oxygen for life! Terrible experience. Not caring at all and just concerned on billing a hefty fee for having no value added. So once you are in cardinal, make sure to avoid this doctor.

The Nurses and Doctors were nice but the food was mostly unappetizing. I was put on soft diet and I could only force myself to consume a quarter of the food served. You cannot sleep here uninterrupted for more than 3 hours as some nurse or group of doctors are always there to check on you and ask you questions night and day.

Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan perceived to be a 5 star hospital in the Philippines but during COVID took an opportunity to cheap out and earn from it. We went into their hospital to JUST take a swab rt pcr test to their designated section in the parking lot WHICH that is where it should be but their staff said just go straight sa E.R. for the swab. While waiting for the swab test which took us more than 30 minutes for us to be done we were directed to the billing section. THIS is where the scam cheap out is. WE HAVE A HEALTH CARD AND HAVE AN APPROVED LOA LOG THAT SHOULD COVER ALL THE CHARGES FOR IT. But instead they opted to STILL charge 4 thousand pesos for their "PPE". THE TOTAL BILL FOR 1 PERSON INCLUDING THE PPE IS 11K BTW. So this is where I got infuriated. So I talked to the staff without them telling us that there will be charges with those things!!! They reverted it BUT it took us a total of 2 hrs and a half for all these procedures!!! Guys comeon you are 5 star hospital and yet you cheap out and take this opportunity for you to might hit and miss customers wherein you can charge these atrocious prices on whoever will bite!!! So shameful other 5 star hospitals like you only charge 3.2K IN TOTAL PER PERSON!!! While you charge 11k in total with 4k for PPE??!! Halatang halata. Too obvious!! If an idiot will walk to your trap well it wont end good for them wont it. Be righteous fair and just with your works!!! As your slogan says "you are family". Too deceitful!

Nursing staff uncourteous and ill mannered, it wasn't like this before. Even the resident doctors are complaining of poor hospital staffs. I was stunned when doctor said blood pressure was good throughout the night as no bp was taken during the time. Entrees were made into the records of the patient without actually taking the vital sign This morning nurse took bp without using stethoscope is this efren a standard practice in the hospital? . We're documenting this case and would welcome if the hospital management would care enough to check on the service their hospital is providing!

ER / COVID Waiting Tent: 3/5 We came in at around 3AM and were assisted promptly. Staff and all were pretty nice and accommodating. The air-conditioning was very good in that it was cold inside (if you fear the cold, best bring a jacket with you). The air-conditioning units themselves were very dirty, though. It looked as if there were molds and could do with some cleaning. Cleanliness of the place was so-so. After the swab and some tests, we were asked to wait for the results before admission. The whole thing took about 2.5-3 hours. Admission: 5/5 After being given the green light to go to admissions, I went by to the counter only to find it empty. I was approached a few seconds later by a staff who told me he just arrived (I suppose it was a change of shift?) and promptly handled the admission. Everything was explained well and completed at a reasonable time. I'd say it took me around 15-20 minutes to get this done. The long wait time was probably due to the application and approval for use of the HMO. We were then escorted to our room afterwards. Room (Standard Private) + bathroom: 3.5/5 The room itself was pretty spacious (around 25sqm) for a party of 2-3. There were no off odors or noticeable uncleanliness as well. The room was pretty well lit. 4 lights overall: one for the 'hallway' / door, one for the corner where the sofa was located, one (the brightest one) in the middle right above the patient's bed, and one in the bathroom. The sofa seemed bigger than St Luke's and would probably comfortably fit a 6.5 foot / 200cm person lying down. The air-conditioning blows directly here, though, so don't forget to bring a jacket or a blanket if you're staying over. Standard amenities include a refrigerator (which was dirty for some reason), kettle, safe, and cable tv. There were 2 usable outlets behind the side table of the patient's bed, and another 2 on the wall (near the floor) across the patient's bed. If you need more outlets, you can unplug the TV and the cable box for an additional 2 outlets. There's also a small luggage rack in the corner. During our stay, it rained heavily and there were leaks coming in from the windows (though not so much that it would become an issue). Window shades were broken as well so we couldn't pull them up to get more natural light. Bathroom was decent. The filter of the faucet needed cleaning as the spray was all over the place. Water pressure was good, but because of the dirty filter and shallow sink, water splashes everywhere during use. Toilet flush was strong so no need to worry about clogs. There's a bidet as well. Toilet paper was thin and soft; cheap, but works quite well and doesn't disintegrate too much when wet. The shower heater takes a while to warm up, so best to turn it on a few minutes before heading in. Sound isolation is so-so. You can definitely hear loud noises from outside during the day (the occasional shouting kid or crying baby), but it was generally quiet all-throughout. Nurses, staff, etc: 4/5 Most of the staff were nice and courteous. Most were also nice enough to open and close the doors lightly, which I highly appreciate. There were only a handful of staff which we encountered that were inconsiderate of the noise they were making (opening and closing of doors, making other loud noises / loud speech when patient was asleep, etc) and two that I felt were rude and unaccommodating. Attentiveness when you call for assistance varies. They sometimes come in immediately to assist, other times you'd have to wait for 5-10 minutes. Not sure if they're understaffed of there're other higher priority cases, but response time was satisfactory. Food: 3/5 Nothing special, but nothing too bad. Options inside are very limited so you'll have to order out. No water cooler outside the rooms. Discharge: 4/5 Pretty quick all things considered (around 2 hours). Small issue with COVID test charge not being auto-charged to Philhealth. Parking: 3/5 Ample but tight spaces. 50 pesos every time the clock strikes 12AM for in-patient guests. Condensed review due to character limit.

I heard is one of the best hospital in Manila? Really canโ€™t define why.. Barely no parking, there is no dedicated waiting room. No playroom for kids, trashes are going down the same lift as sick patients. I, sometimes feels it is a joke. I have personally lived in many different countries with my wife ( included south east asia ) and by far this is the shitti*** hospital iโ€™ve seen in my life. Even compared to public ones.

Donโ€™t get mri done in this hospital, my mom had spine surgery, she is 81 years old. I booked the schedule 2 weeks in advance. We waited for one and half hour to have her thoracic mri with contrast. They did not send out any advice it will delay prior to our appointment. This is not the first time it happened again despite getting a two week advance booking.

The hospital's been there as far as I can remember... way back 90s Medical staff's compitent enough, and are quite friendly. Admitting staff though's a different concern as they just brush and shrug off concerns and queries. Parking's another area as it's always FULL. Going there's easy, but leaving there.. you'll need a car or grab. Can't say it's clean, but the place is decent.

Has gotten better through the recent years. Hoping they can further expand their scope of operations and hospital campus. Kind of expansive and caters mostly to middle class to upper class Filipinos. I hope they can open up ways and means to reach out and help the poorer Filipinos as well. They need the healthcare help more than anyone. 4/5 stars as they are still developing new hospital infrastructure and systems while redeveloping their older facilities. Really hope CSMC continues to develop and and one day become a 5 Star world class hospital for all persons.

Such a horrible hospital! Negligent & a bunch of crooks! My young nephew was brought in due to high fever & he was not tested for COVID but was still charged for โ€œCOVID Care.โ€ Itโ€™s a good thing he got better but what if he didnโ€™t? If I could give negative rating, I would!

The facility is clean. They have good and hard working staff. But when it comes to their doctors especially at the rehabilitation department, their appointments are so messy. They donโ€™t value the time of their patients. 3 of 3 scheduled appointments Iโ€™ve had, my doctor has always been late for at least 20 minutes. Whether heโ€™s coming from the bank or coming from another location. It doesnโ€™t make sense for the secretary to schedule an appointment but they would totally disregard it. I hope they can do better, because the fees we pay are not cheap for us to talk to the doctors for less than 5 minutes.

animal bite center. If you think you're going to pay 16000 pesos at , you better not go. I'm pretty sure I will not go anymore. I'll let everyone I know know about your overmedication My daughter went to the hospital after seeing a spot-sized wound and a drop of blood because of our pet cat It was to get the rabies shot I was expecting. I already knew the price from an acquaintance, so in ER room I inquired one more and asked how many times I had to revisit and how much I had to pay, and he explained that the price was about 3,000 pesos. At this time, I am more angry that no one told me about the 10,000-peso immune injection even when I expressed my desire to know the price. I was going to get a tetanus shot, but my daughter was hit in 2019, so I decided not to. She said she had already opened the pills, and she was a bit offended when I asked her to pay I went in to get an injection, and they gave me two. That time I don't know why it's Two. The problem is the price of the injection placed next to the wound. 10,000 pesos for one of those immune injection prices. You guys don't know why patients go to an emergency? I don't know how to deal with the sick situation, so I pay a higher price (emergency room charge is 2k for 3 hours) and visit it in the evening. It is difficult to explain other than to pay an exorbitant price to the patient without understanding the patient's right to know at all. Who is it that asks the patient if they can pay the bill in all circumstances and tells them in detail? No one told me unless I asked I asked who is responsible, but if no one says it's not you, then what? Do I have to pay unconditionally because I already prescribed the medicine and the injection was good? You are charging patients an outrageous amount. I will let everyone around me know how badly you treat your guests as best I can.

horrible experience! way too expensive for the kind of service they provided. the registration was okay, they asked for the patientโ€™s information, etc. in a nice room then asked for consent regarding the fees. they were very clear about this. 2k for the first three hours of consultation and 600 for every succeeding hour. excluding the medications etc. which was fine i guess since we were expecting everything to go smoothly and that weโ€™d be well-attended to. but the that was the only clear thing about their whole process. they took us into a tiny waiting room adjacent to the ER (which had no air, not even a fan), and left us there to wait for almost three hours for the whole process. without any clear instructions. had to ask multiple times on what will happen next. they gave no clear advisory as to how long weโ€™ll wait or what needs to be done next. they went in and out of that small room without any clear instructions. interval of each visit was like 20-40mins. like they extracted the blood and then just left without saying that weโ€™d have to wait at least an hour for the results (which wouldโ€™ve been fine if we were properly advised). the ER nurse who took the vitals had a bit of an attitude. they don't care about their patients at all. in the end, we left the ER WITHOUT EVEN SEEING / CONSULTING WITH AN ACTUAL DOCTOR. what a joke! theyโ€™re only clear when it comes to money. LOL. never going back to this hospital again.

Service is a joke. Waited 3 hours for results. Not even a simple advisory. Never even saw a doctor, was only given an intern for my checkup. Only clear instructions were the payment methods. Absolutely terrible experience. ๐Ÿ˜‚

All hospital personnel are kind and helpful; the room is clean and comfy; policies are reasonable. However, their services are pricey.

My 95 year old father is currently confined at the hospital for diverticulitis. He had an episode at about where his O2 saturation was dropping between 74 to 52 and even with the countless prodding of his care giver nothing was done for him for more than four hours. The nurses and residents on duty seemed indifferent. They took some blood works and finally put a cannula and had him on oxygen so his O2 saturation reached 81 and ordered a CT Scan. The caregiver then called all of us siblings and we rushed to the hospital. Since he was in respiratory distress my sister called his pulmonologist who arrived in a few minutes. He increased the oxygen level which finally brought up his O2 saturation to 91. He immediately ordered high flow oxygen which finally brought his O2 saturation to 95-96. He was immediately diagnosed with pneumonia. My father could have died that morning, it's good our prayers were answered and he has always been a fighter. We would like to compliment his pulmonologist and caring residents, who practically saved his life. I also want to thank the nurse who just reported for duty for her excellent care. It left wondering the " what ifs" and the quality or absence of service of this hospital. I dread that the next patient who gets confined to this ward might not survive if they ever got into my father's situation.
