Concierge and security guards are attentive, helpful and courteous. It’s quite a dated building but well maintained, it was clean and the elevator goes so fast. I stayed in a corner unit so had floor to ceiling glass windows that are only transparent one side so you get to have lots of natural light while maintaining privacy. The gym is small and simple with weights and elliptical. There was a cycling machine which im not sure still works. There is a 7 eleven and subway downstairs. Great location. The best part is that they are pet friendly.

Honest Evaluation of the Prince Plaza II Condotel. 2.5 Star. Pros: Location: Heart of Makati next to the Greenbelt Mall complex Price: For the location, the price is very reasonable Staff: Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful WiFi: Great WiFi in the rooms. Cons: Older Hotel: The hotel is beat-up Maintenance: Many unfixed problems plague hotel. Dark: Entryway, elevators, and hallways are all dark, especially at night. So, to elaborate: I stayed here at the Prince Plaza II Condotel for over a week. Upon check-in they will ask for 4000 pesos or $90 cash as β€œsecurity.” The hotel is located right next to the Greenbelt Mall. The first room they gave me (which I did not reserve) was tiny and the AC did not work. The room was the size of a large closet and the one double bed was extremely hard with no mattress pad. The room I eventually stayed in, and personally recommend, is the room with two single beds. It is large and had a kitchenette with sink, microwave, stove, and large fridge. The small plasma screen television has a limited channel selection, but passable. Rooms all come with large secure safes. Contrary to the description, they only have one bathroom and a weird door that leads to an outside room where the AC unit is stashed. Maybe it was used for laundry at one time. The furniture is old and plagued with dings and fingerprints. Room is not carpeted. Drapes are old, unclean, and broken. The β€œgym” is merely one elliptical machine in a small non-aircon room. The rooftop pool is uninviting, and was locked. But a note says to call security (from a phone that doesn’t work) to get them to open the pool area. The pool area is in complete disarray and looks to be used for construction/storage. Although many hotels have permanently opened their pools, the PPII is still operating like still under covid lock-down. I was finally able to get to the pool area, by talking to security and them unlocking the door. Now, despite all that, for the price, the Prince Plaza was a deal. This is literally the most affordable hotel in the area. You are literally surrounded by $150-300/nt hotels. So although not great, the Prince Plaza II is worth the money. Is it a 3.5 star hotel? No. Was it clean? Yes. Would I stay again? Yes.

Pros: Location. Few steps from Greenbelt Mall. Affordable rates Cons: Rooms are dated and are in desperate need of makeover. Furniture upholstery have stains. Bathroom is small and towels needs to be replaced. What we experienced: We had to wait 2 hrs to get a better room as the Airconditioning unit is not working properly and there's no hot water in the shower. Then the replacement room's tv stopped working so we had to transfer yet again to another room which looks like the worst room they have left. Overall, not a pleasant stay.

The ac works well on the positive side. The wifi is secured and excellent. We have our own modem in our room. There is a small kitchen in the room with a fridge which is nice The rest of this review is not going to be so good. I said the ac works, which it does, but it started leaking. Thankfully we had something to catch the water. The bed sheets, my goodness, where do i start. They have stains on them that look like people had just been intimate. There were hairs on them, and little bugs, or eggs from bugs i think. There is a door in the room, and when you open it, there is just a ac compressor and a rail keeping you from dropping 23 floors. It's bizarre. The water pressure is miserable. One would have to stay in the shower for an hr. if you want to get the shampoo out of your hair. The room is super small, and very out-dated. I can't figure out how to get the cable working, bu thankfully i brought my roku from home so we have netflix and amazon prime video. Unfortunately, youtube tv does not work in foreign countries. We are only here at this hotel for 4 days, so my wife and i are not going to complain about anything, but we will not be coming here ever again

The location is excellent. Just next to Greenbelt 5. From there you can walk to Landmark, Glorietta, etc. Looking for the basic and affordable accommodation, this is a good place to stay. The room was equipped with the kitchen appliances ( fridge, microwave). Overall the room was clean. However, the hotel has seen better days. The place looks dated. The reception area is small and dark. The rooms are OK for size but the furnishing is very bare and basic. The sheets are worn and thin. The floor mat looks ragged and torn.

Bad experience in Prince Plaza 2 condotel. We booked this via agoda. Since it is pandemic, we are very keen with the cleanliness of the room, so we also did our own sanitazion. The room we got has a defective aircon, and the cup has a lipstick stain. They have to move us to another room at night, so we have to repack everything. If you wish to have a hot shower, better ask the housekeeping to turn the hot switch on. For now, no breakfast, and amenities is not complete. They will charge you for basic necessity of hotel such as dental kit, and slippers, so bring your own. Good location, literally just infront of greenbelt.

Rooms are very clean and organized. I just hope there is a water dispenser here in our room. But all the things are good. Cabinet, safe, aircon, tv, wifi, mirrors everywhere, dining table, set of utensils, microwave oven, refrigerator, sink, cupboard, hot shower, make up table and some features. The crew of this hotel are very approachable, friendly, respectful, and possess all the good qualities of a person. The location is very good and very convenient for shopping. All in all, perfect!

Nice, comfy, and cheap place to spend a few nights in Manila with good ubication. However, the hotel staff was not very helpful with many of the inconveniences me and my friends had throughout our stay, they were not responsive nor practical.

Excitement turned into huge disappointment at Prince Plaza 2, Makati City. Proximity to Greenbelt Ayala Malls prompted us to choose this condotel for a Christmas getaway. Agoda room rate was thought to be a good deal, too. Sadly, we got the worst staycation experience amidst all the towering buildings, high-end shops and famous restaurants in the Central Business District of Makati - one of the richest cities in the country. Finally checked in after two long hours of wait. That was after we made three room transfers due to water-heater, airconditioning and Skycable service connection problems. Unfavorably, we ended up in the most neglected room among the three available options. IMO, this condotel needs a major room improvement and makeover. It's ill-kept and poor room conditions would only create a bad impression to International and local guests, alike. Photos on the website could also be misleading. Way different from the unsightly stained chairs, old pillows and cracked floors, just to name a few. Marichu (Frontdesk), Jonathan (Bellboy),Β  Joven and Aldrich (Maintenance Service personnel) were courteous, helpful and accommodating, though. Their efforts and good qualities may have been the saving grace from the condotel's worsening atrophic condition.

Booked the room because mainly of location since it is in the center of Makati. HOWEVER, the reception is really not accommodating. I don't know, I feel like she's very unhappy with her job, assisting us with a long face and heavy heart. Didn't even bother to help us, when we want to check-in early because we had few stuffs with us. We're very unhappy with the service, I actually wanted to cancel my booking right on the spot but made us realize it will be inconvenient us more. The building is pretty old. So just a quick heads up, on anyone who wants to book this place.

It is close to ayala museum. It has subway, BDO and 7/11 beside it. Really nice, the staff were friendly. A lot of laundry services around the area. Easy access to the road(taxi). Nt really luxurious but it's ok.

Walking distance to Greenbelt, Glorietta 1-5, and The Landmark Store. Area is clean, lit & safe at night. You don't need to flag down a taxi. Just get your steps in walking to the mall. Less than 20 minutes to St. Luke's Global City, BGC, and NAIA. A little over 30 minutes to MOA. Very convenient location. I will surely stay there again.

It was nice staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff are accommodating. One thing about this condotel is that it is very accessible to the malls such as Glorietta and Greenbelt. I highly recommend this place and definitely book again.

It's a good comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. The room we got was much older than what it looks like in photos. The wifi was also down in the first two days but reception said it was the fault of the provider.

Great location and clean hotel with good security. Just wish they had the option of getting mattresses that were a bit less firm. Overall 4 out of 5 would recommend it! 5 out of 5 if the mattresses are softer.

Wasn't expecting much since it was very cheap but was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. It was clean and spacious for the three of us. Love that it's right beside greenbelt. So convenient.

Night staff had a bit confusion regarding our covid negative test, which we just flew in from Los Angeles with a negative result but since the day/time difference, night staff said its expired, Lol. Finally convinced her the test result still good, ayyy. PRO: Rooms very spacious, clean. Mini fridge, microwave is a plus. Great Location, across from Greenbelt Mall, Money Exchanger and major restaurants. Staff and security very attentive. You can't beat the price, affordable and comfy beds for this safe location is Makati. They accommodated us with two adjacent rooms next to our families. CON: Bathroom vents was not working both in both rooms, Air con was too loud, both mechanical maintenance only.

For the price, its a good cheap deal. The rooms are great with functioning shower temperatures and AC. The additional facilities like the gym are meh but the location of the hotel is excellent for travelling. Glorietta mall and greenbelts are in a walking distance.

4 stars because of the staff and location. The room itself is.. how can I say it πŸ₯Ή it's spacious. Had functioning kitchen and utensils. Good view. Hotel's near with everything you need. BUT there is no duvet, the AC brings out ice πŸ₯Ή i can smell cigarette smoke inside the cr i dunno how that happened. Maybe from the vent. and my real problem is the door 😭 it's so hard to open. It's an old door knob. I think it was broken or over used πŸ₯Ή If you're someone who's not ok with πŸ‘†πŸ» then find another hotel. Nonetheless i somehow liked my stay for it's still a good deal and how the staffs respect you and they give positive vibes 🫢🏻 PS.. the pool is under maintenance during our stay

  • 1/5 Rodrigo D. 1 year ago on Google
The room is far from what I see in the announced photos. Poor service, I needed to call reception but they never NEVER, responded appropriately, even hanging the phone without finishing the call. Worst of all, the room stinks. Yes, the entire room, mainly the toilets are dirty and stunk.

Good enough for its price and recommended for business trips. Room was not that clean and saw some ants on the table.

This is a catch-up review from 2019. My experience was pretty good. Friendly staff. Good location very close to Ayala Mall and Greenbelt areas, Landmark shopping mall. Just one thing, I remember the breakfast menu was a little 'scant'. As far as Philippines hotels go, this was fairly good. Stuff Worked. Which if you ever stayed in other hotels there, you'll know 'Stuff Working' is optional lol.

Forget about the swimming pool here. Too cold to use anyways. Location is great but overall this hotel could be better. Checkin process took a long time. They should have been ready when i arrived.

  • 3/5 BJ M. 4 years ago on Google
It is just "good" because the staff let us check in earlier. Great pool, super clean! Great comfort room, strong shower, hot and cold, modern type. Room's rate is just right. Bell boy is great! Male receptionists are professional. Female receptionists does NOT know how to provide good service (literally). Fast elevator but smells although acceptable in my opinion. Unclear instructions on the BEST PRICE GUARANTEE. Overall, it is just okay, especially for those looking something affordable in MAKATI.

  • 4/5 Galen C. 4 years ago on Google
Pretty good, especially for the price. Great service. Rooms are good. I slept well. Great water pressure and warm enough in the shower. Breakfast buffet isn't worth paying extra for. Having the pool is nice, though it's a little chilly.

  • 3/5 Drewyoo 3 years ago on Google
Clean and spacious rooms but a bit outdated. I like how the mall, eateries and convenience stores are all within walking distance. Understandably, the gym and swimming pool was closed due to the pandemic. Would definitely stay again if needed.

  • 3/5 Geraldine H. 3 years ago on Google
Spacious old building. However, beware of cockroaches and even rats. Decent considering that it is conveniently located in Makati. Two minute walk to a string of malls (Greenbelt,Landmark, Glorietta,SM), and just a block away from Ayala Triangle. Walking distance to Salcedo market and Legazpi market.
