Honest
Evaluation
of
the
Prince
Plaza
II
Condotel.
2.5
Star.
Pros:
Location:
Heart
of
Makati
next
to
the
Greenbelt
Mall
complex
Price:
For
the
location,
the
price
is
very
reasonable
Staff:
Staff
are
genuinely
friendly
and
helpful
WiFi:
Great
WiFi
in
the
rooms.
Cons:
Older
Hotel:
The
hotel
is
beat-up
Maintenance:
Many
unfixed
problems
plague
hotel.
Dark:
Entryway,
elevators,
and
hallways
are
all
dark,
especially
at
night.
So,
to
elaborate:
I
stayed
here
at
the
Prince
Plaza
II
Condotel
for
over
a
week.
Upon
check-in
they
will
ask
for
4000
pesos
or
$90
cash
as
βsecurity.β
The
hotel
is
located
right
next
to
the
Greenbelt
Mall.
The
first
room
they
gave
me
(which
I
did
not
reserve)
was
tiny
and
the
AC
did
not
work.
The
room
was
the
size
of
a
large
closet
and
the
one
double
bed
was
extremely
hard
with
no
mattress
pad.
The
room
I
eventually
stayed
in,
and
personally
recommend,
is
the
room
with
two
single
beds.
It
is
large
and
had
a
kitchenette
with
sink,
microwave,
stove,
and
large
fridge.
The
small
plasma
screen
television
has
a
limited
channel
selection,
but
passable.
Rooms
all
come
with
large
secure
safes.
Contrary
to
the
description,
they
only
have
one
bathroom
and
a
weird
door
that
leads
to
an
outside
room
where
the
AC
unit
is
stashed.
Maybe
it
was
used
for
laundry
at
one
time.
The
furniture
is
old
and
plagued
with
dings
and
fingerprints.
Room
is
not
carpeted.
Drapes
are
old,
unclean,
and
broken.
The
βgymβ
is
merely
one
elliptical
machine
in
a
small
non-aircon
room.
The
rooftop
pool
is
uninviting,
and
was
locked.
But
a
note
says
to
call
security
(from
a
phone
that
doesnβt
work)
to
get
them
to
open
the
pool
area.
The
pool
area
is
in
complete
disarray
and
looks
to
be
used
for
construction/storage.
Although
many
hotels
have
permanently
opened
their
pools,
the
PPII
is
still
operating
like
still
under
covid
lock-down.
I
was
finally
able
to
get
to
the
pool
area,
by
talking
to
security
and
them
unlocking
the
door.
Now,
despite
all
that,
for
the
price,
the
Prince
Plaza
was
a
deal.
This
is
literally
the
most
affordable
hotel
in
the
area.
You
are
literally
surrounded
by
$150-300/nt
hotels.
So
although
not
great,
the
Prince
Plaza
II
is
worth
the
money.
Is
it
a
3.5
star
hotel?
No.
Was
it
clean?
Yes.
Would
I
stay
again?
Yes.
