🫤 I had lunch there with my daughter yesterday. We've eaten there several times in the past; pre-pandemic. There was a waiter who was in charge of packing the food for take-out. I had lunch there with my daughter yesterday. We've eaten there several times in the past; pre-pandemic. There was a waiter who was in charge of packing the food for take-out. I saw him drop some take-out containers on the floor and they rolled around between his feet for a while. He picked them up and put them back on the shelf. I called our waitress and pointed it out to her. She later told me that she threw them out. But I saw the same waiter, wipe away the sweat from his brow and his face with his bare hands then he proceeded to put a large bowl of food on a plate and place a ladle on it and serve it. Without washing his hands!! When he returned to his station, he pulled out a folded towel from his apron pocket and wiped the sweat from his face again. He pocketed his towel. And without washing his hands again, he proceeded to pack food in take-out containers. I would assume that towel is full of his sweat and filthy. Lugang Cafe management should really be on top of things, and they should teach their staff proper hygiene. It was all off putting.

Was able to try their feast all you can again! Super happy with our dining experience (we were a big group of 16 pax) We were able to use the private room which was great (10k consumable) What I love about this round is that there are more choices for the house specialties. Top faves: salt and pepper squid (SUPER) pecking duck wrap, pork xlb, wasabi mayo shrimp

Staff are attentive and courteous. Make sure you bring your vaccination card or a photo in your phone. They are accommodating on our request for no MSG and less salt for our ordered food. Good quality Taiwanese food menu with a twist.

Nice family restaurant with great staff. We've dined here more than a couple of times already and we order some dishes repeatedly. Their food quality varies from excellent most times to good sometimes.

I availed the unli-dimsum of Lugang Cafe. The dishes that stood out for me are the main dishes which are beef strips with chillies and sweet and sour pork. I also like the light silken tofu with floss and century egg. The rest of the dimsums are soso, i think the 888 plus service charge is not sulit.

Food is mostly what you can see on a chinese resto but with a twist. They have more spicy food than other restos. Personally not a fan of spicy but food here is great. Serving is as usual just good for 2-3 pax. I've been to different chinese resto and this resto might make it into my top 5 if only their siomai is not a xiao long bao with shrimp on top. I used to eat in other branch before and stopped coming back after I realized that their food taste different from before. Other than that, their service is good and their staff are friendly. The atmosphere is like for elegant people.

It's a stand alone restaurant in the Greenhills commercial complex. Parking was easy. Food was very good and reasonable. They have this set for five pax which was more than enough for 5 adults and two kids. They don't have service charge but the staff was very attentive and quick. Our favorite in the area.

Passed by and decided to have a quick snack. Food is good, but we found that menu did have a limited amount of choices. Maybe its just us but we found it lacking those OG Chinese food you'd expect. Service was just fine. For the price of the food, you'd expect better service to translate to the whole experience. One notable thing is their chili sauce (or rather XO) when we asked for chili sauce for our meal. Great flavor and went perfectly well with the dumplings Overall we'd definitely come back for the sauce .

We had a very enjoyable lunch here. It was some of the best Shu Mai I have had. Also, the Vietnamese Eggs Rolls were fantastic. The service was prefect.

Always solid and good quality ingredients. One of the best places for good straight forward Chinese/Taiwanese food. Their staff is efficient and proactive. Also, thank you Cafe Lugang for setting an example and using paper containers instead of plastic containers for take out and delivery. It is so much more sustainable and healthier (micro plastic elimination). Very sad to see that the majority of Manila restaurant companies still didn't get the memo and still are using plastic packaging for everything. Very behind. It's wasteful and unhealthy. Cafe Lugang keep it up! Going forward, I will prioritize you when ordering for delivery because of your paper/card board packaging.

Went on a lunch time but luckily a group just finished and we only waited just so the staff can clean the table. Waiting time for the food to arrive was maybe 15 to 20 minutes. Pork Wontons in spicy chili oil - it was not spicy and the sauce tasted like the knorr liquid seasoning Xiao long bao - it was good, the wrapper to filling ratio was a bit off. Mixed mushroom in XO sauce - this one is oily but it's also addicting to eat Spicy beef and tendon noodle soup - again, it was not spicy but it was full of flavor, the beef and noodles were perfect.

food is ok if you dont mind NOISE from people's conversations while you are having meals; place is not clean as we had to move from one table to another because there were cockroaches crawling on our plates and table....not worth going there for if you have to eat with bugs

Food was alright. Flavors are present if a bit muted. Special mention is the braided beef tendon which is quite good. The matcha ice cream and red bean dessert is not bad either. However everything else is lackluster. Nothing special, but also not bad. You could do worse.

Ambience is really good. Staff are all attentive to your needs. Xiao long bao is a definite must get dish and it’s really good. The three cup chicken is really good even though it’s a bit on the salty side. The only problem i find is that the serving is too little for the money you pay for those main dishes. Otherwise, a must visit and try!

Sweet and Sour, wonton and congee tasted good even after we requested less salt and no MSG. Their chili sauce is addicting. The place was cozy. They have a wide array of Taiwanese foods and shakes! Their veggie and truffle steamed dumpling was also good.
