TLDR: dissatisfaction with my sister’s hospitalization at MCP The hospital charges, including doctors’ fees, are VERY, VERY expensive. Also, we experienced inefficiency and reckless process. There was a huge delay in transporting my sister’s lab specimen sample to another hospital at the fault of MCP. They were very inefficient with the payment and it took a very long time. Alam naman nating lahat na when it comes to a very sick person, TIMELY TESTS ARE VERY IMPORTANT. By then it was already 12 hours from the time the specimen was taken. Their inefficiency and lack of empathy really struck us. I have a suspicion that the back and forth transport charges going to the other hospital were even charged to us but they have NOT been transparent with the fees. I tried securing the details to NO avail. I requested for contact of the president to give visibility on the hospital’s significant areas for improvement. I asked many people including the Chief of Medical + CFO and none would like me to elevate the matter to the President. I have not been given transparency in regard to the billing which was upsettingly high. It is also worth noting that the PhilHealth deduction was only 21K for a 1.5M bill for 17 days hospitalization - something we will also look further into. I was also asked to pay Ph300k in cash without pre warning and I had to ask for a special exception to pay in credit card, as we were handed the bill for the doctors’ fees only on the day of her discharge.

Worst employees CANNOT READ INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE DOCTOR REQUEST. They charge me without telling me they don’t have the things I need to able to get my laboratory done.

We went to the ER on January 7, 2023 16:30 to see a doctor regarding a wound of a family member due to a bite by the family dog. The ER nurse asked us if we plan to have the vaccine shots done at the hospital, we said no, we just want to have the bite wound and the finger sprain checked. The nurse consulted the ER doctor, she came back and informed us that if we are not having the vaccine done at the hospital the doctor is too busy to service us. He said just put ice on the sprain. He never bothered to see the patient. We then proceeded to Asian Hospital ER, the patient experience is so much different in Asian. The nurses were very professional, they checked and asked relevant questions to the patient, the doctor checked on the sprain by having an X-ray done, they informed us about the rabies shots but we told them we already made plans with RITM, they asked the patient to sign a document stating we refused rabies treatment, they did everything as expected. The difference between Medical Center Parañaque and Asian Hospital is like night and day. This will be last time we will even consider going to Medical Center Parañaque. We only went there because we were in the vicinity and thought that the ER would do the most basic protocol for a dog bite which is very common here in the Philippines.

Very expensive. There are two fees that they do not tell you about there is one doctor fee and one Hospital fee separate fees that are combined on to one bill prior to discharge. They will not let the patient leave the hospital until 70% of the remaining bill is paid off. They want you to settled/ update the bill first before doing any procedure even if the patient is dying. The hospital is inhumane and cares more about money than helping people recover from their illness.

Terrible hospital. Overpriced and will force you to take diagnostic tests you don't need. Seriously, a lung x-ray for UTI? Seriously?!?!??

We were hesitant to go here at first due to bad reviews despite it being just outside our village. So when our baby got a fever we drove all the way to Asian Hospital in Alabang to ensure good facilities. The result from our check-up required another complete blood count (CBC) the following day to rule out dengue. Since the procedure was just CBC and the parameters were already explained, we decided to have the test in Medical Center. To my surprise, I didn't encounter anything that would warrant any negative feedback. Service was fast and straight forward, the facility was quite small so the reception, billing and cashier was next to each other which means you won't get tired of walking from building to building as well as waiting in long lines for the elevator. I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars since the place was really dated as the reviews have mentioned, and I don't think I will be going here as an in-patient. But overall, our experience was very positive and I would recommend the hospital for out-patient procedures.

It is really very dangerous to go to this hospital. I was hospitalized for 4 days and I only saw the doctor 1 time for 3 minutes, I never know it came back. They did too many studies but they never gave me the diagnosis. finally they did not discharge me because they could not find the doctor to authorize my departure. Please Don't go to this hospital it's dangerous, for my part I already filed a lawsuit with the authorities for All this issues.

I don't recommend this Hospital. My father was admitted here this March 2023 due to low sodium and wound on his feet. The assigned doctor to us is quite young and unexperienced. You will not feel emphaty or care for patient from this doctor. She gave us expensive drugs and did not ask us if we want cheaper version that resulted us a higher bill. The PF also is quite high than other hospital. Also the billing department is not easy to deal with. From the start we already told them that we have grant letter from DSWD and PCSO but insist us to do partial payment. We feel also that they not willing to accept GL from government from what we experienced in their billing department. In the end, they only accept DSWD GL but deducted 5K for processing fee and the PCSO GL they did not accept because they told us that they arranged the last billing for their doctors PF and not for hospital bill which is their internal matters and unacceptable to us. This hospital will make you poor so better not go here.

I rate this as the worst hospital in the World . Very poor medications and high billing. I spend 1 night without taking any drugs but they charge me 30 thousand pesos . It was to me like am watching a movie

Their Doctor made mistake with my Cousin's Surgery because of the wrong diagnosis. We ended up having a big bill without any consideration of giving us a discount for owning their errors. Also that time even though it was an emergency they weren't willing to treat him without paying in full.

Nurses in the ER poor in patient care. Not so clean. Charges unreasonably. I brought my husband there very early in the morning due to an intense pain in his abdominal area. They checked on him and asked the nurse to insert an IV line for the medications. The nurse inserted the needle twice but failed to hit the vein and my husband already complained because he was in so much pain. She called the other nurse to insert the needle because she couldn't do it right. I was so mad. So when they told me that he has to be admitted before doing the ultrasound to be able to come up with a diagnosis, I said no. When I was given the charge slip, I was even more annoyed when I saw that my husband's name was misspelled after I CAPITALIZED all the letters when I filled out the patient form. They even charged us for all the needles that they wasted due to their incompetence. And a whooping almost 5k for an hour and a few minutes! I do not recommend this hospital for emergencies. Look somewhere else!

TLDR: MCP refused to treat my partner unless we agreed to select the more expensive treatment option, then forced us to pay the amount in full immediately. MCP is ruled by greedy, compassionless people with no regard for the law or the patients who go to them for help. I brought my partner to the ER for treatment for a serious infection, but the staff said they wouldn't give her antibiotics unless we had her confined. At that time, we didn't have enough money to have her admitted, so we had to wait several hours before she could get the treatment she needed. The cost of confinement was ridiculously expensive. To make matters worse, billing was extremely reluctant to help us. I told them I could pay them by installment. But they insisted that we had to pay the FULL AMOUNT IMMEDIATELY or else they wouldn't allow us to leave. They repeatedly refused to offer us a promissory note or a more comfortable way to pay for the hospital fees. Take note that it is required by law for hospitals to provide help in this regard. Check out REPUBLIC ACT 9439 (especially SEC. 2) to know more about this. Ultimately, we had no choice but to pay in full. We ended up extremely low on cash, which meant we had to cut down on food and maintenance meds for my mom. We also had trouble paying some of our bills. To be honest, it all felt like a money-making scheme.

Available Moderna Booster shots here at the old ER. Walk in and bring your vaccine card.

My half-sister who is one-armed PWD got the wrong diagnosis and they did not even apologize or give us a discount. Clear case of medical malpractice being tolerated.

the worst hospital i've ever encountered so far. it's fine if the hospital is old, but with unclean surroundings, lots of mosquitoes and poor service? it's not okay! waited too long outside their hmo dept but we were only 2 patients waiting. finally, the doctor arrived (after an hour and a half), he was in a casual wear, not wearing any PPE, no facemask! when i entered the doctor's office, the only available chair for me was placed too far from his table! (i was like WTH?) i needed to shout so he could hear me. (i was wearing facemask and faceshield). he was glued on his chair and did not even bother to stand or at least look/check what was wrong with me. even if i still have a lot of questions in my mind, he made me feel that he wanted me to leave (i stayed there for only 2 mins!). it seems like he was not interested or he was in a hurry or something so i knew it was useless for me to ask him. i've waited too long for him just to feel disappointed. what a waste of time!

PCR of same day was not fulfilled but their billing overcharged us for same day testing. We even made it to the same day cut off. They said results out in 24-48 hours but this wasn’t fulfilled as well since they hd back logs. They weren’t easy to reach as well via landline or cellphone.

Lousy Emergency Room services. They have to drastically improve this department and expand facilities asap if they still want to compete with United Paranaque Hospital and Medical Center at Valley 1.

I also felt that poor services mentioned by some reviewers, My family brought me in the e.r complaining of severe stomach pain was diagnosed to have stone in the gall bladder and inflamed.I could still endure the pain at first so i didnt ask for immediate responsed. But the third time i went in paranque med er the pain hurts a lot that med i took cant help me ,they gave me first aid after my family decided to admit me and to undergo surgery.**** i was in pain back there why cant they just help me first and do something ..and after the operation was done .my family decided to buy the after meds but when i saw the prescricption they gave .it can only be use for paranaque med only which is almost doubled the price in drugstore.. and not also that , the room my family took meant for 3 patients. So no tv . So i asked if i could transfer to a private room .the hospital stuff told me that if i was to transfer. All the bills including in docstor fee , anesthesiologist ,surgeon attending physician fees will also increase i cursed **** why? I just want to be transfer to a better room you know for better recovering.. we spent almost 150k thought that we can minimize the cost . Sadly just got in the wrong there.. sorry for the words and for the english..

So far, everyone's assistance level is acceptable. Staff are accommodating in the middle of the night and providing as much info as to what's going on. The ER patient's restroom is clean (bidet and toilet paper provided). Will update this review as we go through tonight's emergency.

Medical staffs were good and very accommodating. However security personnels were not properly trained with their jobs. Some were even not polite.

Not recommending this Hospital. No care at all in patient. You cannot even feel the purpose of emergency. Even doctor said "nasa inyo kung makakapaghintay kayo" cause the emergency doctor is only one.

putting money above all else kaysa sa buhay ng tao. Got the biggest disappointment in a hospital if you want to put a patient in a private hospital better go with the best hospital than this establishment.
