Place is decent for us, understandable that the long lockdown left the resort in a need of major maintenance but we went for a swim and bonding anyway and we enjoyed our time. Showers are ok, at least we were able to shower of after swimming. Didn't expect a fine sand beach, cause Mabini (Anilao) is known as a diving spot so coarse sand, corals, and some rocks are present along the shoreline. But the water is crystal clear... and most important - clean! Three stars only cause we wanted an overnight stay but unfortunately, it wasn't available yet. Hopefully the resort get permission soon, but overall we would definitely return. Specially since there are airconditioned rooms, and a place for setting tent and a bonfire (maybe 😊). Cottage rental is good btw. Bring food coz the resort don't have any cafeteria yet ( again becoz of lockdown) but convenient stores, eateries, mini groceries available outside the resort.

affordable resort; 2k pesos whole day use of cabana and common restroom&shower. avoid crowds during weekends. check tide timings; high tide sandy beach, while low tide rocky/coral presence. during lowtide, rent floating cottage to enjoy deep sand and corals. currently opens from 0700-1700. accomodating front desk, lifeguard and staff. bring your own food and drinks. BBQ pits together with the cottages. bring own charcoal etc.

It was 2012 when we went to Aguila Bearch Resort with the fambam. Super exciting the experience as this is the first time we did snorkeling with tons of fish since the beach is in Anilao. The biodiversity of Anilao is SUPERB! Tons of coral reefs, fishes and marine sea creatures will astounish you. Don't forget to feed them with bread or biscuit. Mind your thrash guys. Sunset is breathtaking. We also did bonfire after the tiring but worth it adventure. We stayed in a two rooms His and Her beachfront room. We swim in the pool, beachwalking, and lot of fun activities, volley, sandcastle, they buried memin the sand. I wonder what have been Aguila now after 10 years? Please visit Anilao Beach Resort though we're still a pandemic. ❀

Like the water as the temperature which was moderate, didn't change the whole day. Seabed too rocky as well. Calm and clear water. The cottages and rooms are good as you can cook your food. Bringing softdrinks and wine inside the resort are not allowed as you will be charged a corkage fee. You can buy these at their canteen which usually ran out of stock. As a whole, it was a nice experience as I was able to relax and enjoy the beach.

We used the facilities at the resort for access to the nearby beach. The charge for a cabana is 3,250 p which seemed a bit high for what turned out to be a basic cabana with only a power outlet (no fans, not very secluded). The cabana smelled badly as it seems someone had left fish on the natural wood table which was not cleaned adequately. The cantina had decent prices but was seriously lacking in the cold (luke-warm) drinks department. If you want beverages, I recommend purchasing them before you enter the site. Easy access to the beach was a plus. The actual beach is a bit on the rocky side with coarse sand. The water is great and there is plenty of room to swim if it isn't too crowded.

Area is accesible though it is near a small port going other island. Water is clear but their are times that there are garbages floating.

The beach is clean and ideal for children and adult to swim. The cottages and room are clean. I suggest to the owner to solve the problem on water supply in the common bathroom and comfort room.

Our stay was pleasant at first and after we ate and went to our room we found it smelt really bad of mould we brought it to their attention and they moved us to a different room which had a sewer smell after awhile because they spray the room with air freshener after it wears off yikes then we were infested by thousands of ants my guess is the room hadn’t been used for awhile and they said they were fully booked when I called and asked for the manager I never heard back the staff was good but management was bad so after booking 2 rooms for 20000 peso 1 was good the other a disappointing mess not even an offer of a discount I will not go back and will not recommend

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It's accessible using motorcycle vehicle. I've been here for the 2nd time. If you wanted to experience overnight camping with kids, this is the right place. There's no need to trek, the summit is just 5-10 minutes walk from campsite.

πŸ‘ Nice place to rest and relax. The view is superb and we were blessed to see wild dolphins show off their skills as we were having breakfast. The food is good and the staff was able to accommodate my sister’s shrimp allergy. Unfortunately, the jet ski’s were not available when we were there and the o...

🫀 Reading all the reviews, I am absolutely surprised at how we ended up with room 14, given its horrible condition. We had planned to spend a weekend here, enjoying the beautiful views, but the room was far from what we expected. It was evident that the room hadn't been renovated in quite some time. A...
