I recently had lunch at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club, and it was okay. With low lighting and upscale furnishings, the atmosphere was posh and classy. The waitstaff was responsive and well-informed, and but got swamped with work as soon as the lunch rush hit. It was frustrating that we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food despite having ordered the day before. When the dinner finally arrived, it was simply amazing. The appetizer was opulent and substantial. I got a dish for my main meal that was well cooked and came with a delectable reduction sauce. The dessert was also quite interesting. Overall, the eating experience was diminished by the lengthy wait for the food, despite the fact that the cuisine and service were great. Prices were also on the higher side. I would recommend Chef Jessie Rockwell Club with caution and advise to confirm the waiting time before making a reservation.

This is my second time dining at Chef Jessie's and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered were on point: 1. Angus Ribeye Steak 2. Charcoal Grilled Lamb Chops Old Style 3. A la Créme with Truffle Pasta 4. Grilled Chilean Sea Bass topped with Scallops (instead of Pan fried goose liver since out of stock) 5. Smoked Salmon, grilled prawns & Sautéed Mushrooms salad 6. Classic French Onion Soup with Guyere Cheese 7. Cream of Carrot & Pumpkin with Curry, Shrimp & Mango Soup 8. Baked prawns with cheese Before any of our orders was served, they have served a generous amount of bread and they were delicious with a Elle & Vire butter at the side. The salad we had was good. Not the usual salad. The steak was okay, good, but not better than most restaurant, but still highly recommended. We ordered it at medium. It was more thinly sliced than the usual. It has a steak sauce that came with it. For me, the Lamb chops is the star of the main course. We ordered it at medium doness. This might be the best lamb chop I've tasted. It also came with a sauce but it could stand on its own. The soups we ordered were good, just like the usual in other restaurants. I wasn't able to taste much of the seabass since the serving was just very small. It is really just meant for one person. Since we are a group of 6 people, I was not able to get a share. My companions say it was really. I guess that's why the dish did not reach my plate. The overall star of the course was the dessert. Crepe Samurai really do not disappoint. I will go back here just for this dish. Everyone of us really took note of this dish. A crowd favorite.

Chef Jessie is always a visit of 2 opposing stories, my full stomach, and my empty wallet. Do i regret coming here? No. Is it value for money? Depends. Will i be back? Yes!

Got orders mixed-up between me and somebody else I was eating with. We already started eating before we noticed so we just decided to continue eating each other's orders. I really didn't enjoy what was given to me. And it wasn't even what I ordered. Having tried a little bit of my own order towards the end I could say that I wouldve actually liked that, but unfortunately it wasn't what I got. I don't enjoy being charged for something I didn't order nor liked to begin with either. This is the first time I have written a negative review as I normally do not for restaurants that displease me. But in ways this is a new low. Ruined the dining experience for me. Please be vigilant on what the waitstaff gives you.

Fabulous food and attentive service. Super tasty French Onion Soup followed by melt in the mouth, Four Cheese Soufflé, sadly no room for dessert! Apparently, Chef Jessie was asked to cater for the Pope on his visit here, and if you select the Pope's selection, the proceeds go to charity.

I hate not to give 5 stars because I know the effort In creating an experience but I would give 4.5. It maybe because I came in with high expectations and it fell short just a bit. Overall, the experience was great. I had their seabass and it was delicious. I was a bit disappointed by the sisig. I understand that it was a variation of the original style but I was not blown away. I don’t mean to say that it was not good, it was delicious, but I was looking for something different. I was actually excited to try it.

Nice, relaxing & cozy. My daughter and I went to use my voucher for a set lunch or dinner for two. We were told we had the option to choose beef, fish or beef/fish combination as our main course. The carnivore in me yelled 'ALL BEEF' so that's what I ordered. My daughter ordered the combination so she/we can also sample the fish. The complementary bread was quite good. Crispy but soft crust & soft and chewy inside. The salad was good, balanced flavors, crunchy veggies. The pumpkin soup was good even if the flavor was mild. The mains were very good. The grilled fish had the usual toughness on the outer portions but otherwise tasted good with no unpleasant smell and/or taste. The beef was tender. I can cut it to bite size chunks using only my fork. The chocolate souffle was not too sweet and went well with my unsweetened coffee. Overall it was a very good dining experience. Good food, nice pleasant and attentive staff. Highly recommended! We will be coming back :)

Nice experience from start to finish. Got a nice clean table at the window. Interior reminds me of Raffles style. Competent staff. Ice cooled water. Hot bread with butter and a dip. Their own version of beef carpaccio. And chicken adobo as main. Nice glass of rosé. Informative chat with manager Miss Jimenez.

The dinner we had at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club will be a memorable one. I enjoyed the savory spinach souffle. I will definitely recommend the French Onion Soup and its Wild Rice Risotto. Overall, it was a great meal and fantastic experience. Kudos to the Chief and the rest of the staff.

A place for special occasions. Food is good and service is attentive. Edit: Second time this year. Got the set meal. Soup was bland. Entree was a bit small but probably just right for the ladies and seniors. Dessert was not memorable capped with brewed coffee. Ambiance is still nice but I'm still young (at heart) and still have other gustatory places to explore.

Special 'despedida' dinner for my daughter at Chef Jessie Rockwell. Lucky also to experience and taste Jamon Iberico being carved right in front of us. That's after having salad and beef carpaccio! 😋 Then on to the mains- lamb chops, perfectly cooked medium; juicy duck confit; and chicken masala. There's also mushroom souffle. You can't let a nice meal pass without dessert. There's the not-so-photogenic crepe samurai BUT super, super delish! And my new favorite- cheesecake. 😁 They do accept walk-ins but best to make prior reservation.

The airy, relaxed atmosphere was perfect for our group. I love how they creatively hand-painted the acrylic barriers for social distancing for diners seated across from each other. Of course, the food was superb!

Food is okay but didn’t have my preferred order available so I settled for lambs. Chef Jessie’s cheesecake is just ok as the crust is so grainy though the cake is yummy. It’s not smart labeling this cake with the chef’s name. Nonetheless, service is the main issue in this place as there is no consistency with how guests are treated and you could hear some servers complaining about another table. We also had to follow up on our drinks as they were not served until we’re halfway done with our main course. This is a bad experience considering this is a fine dining restaurant and people come here due to its formal setting. Not a place worth coming back to.

Chef Jessie's never disappoints! From the famous starter dip with warm soft rolls to the salad with pan seared duck liver and raspberry vinaigrette to the mains, my personal fave is the lamb, and the crepe samurai to end a perfect meal!!

Ambiance was perfect and the food was great. Fair enough price for the quality of food you will be enjoy. Among all the ordered, I love the Tournedos Rossini the most, I.e. 2 pieces of medallions of beef tenderloin topped with pan fried foie gras. The beef was so tender, juicy and very match with the aromatic foie gras.if the beef come a glass of red wine, that would be perfect. Besides, you also can try their classic French onion soup with gruyere cheese. The smell was great until the next table asking what I have order. While waiting for the main course you order a plate smoked salmon caviar pie ciabatta croutons for munchy.

When my family and i want a good, reliable place to dine and share a good meal, this is one of the places we have on our A list. It certainly helps that the interiors and features are made comfortable and pleasant to the eyes. The lighting for me is just right. Not too glaring but ambiant enough. The linens are nice and crisp. Old world feel without being dated. Because we are chatty citizens, i hope they improve their acoustics abit more.

Christmas Eve dinner was a 7-course sit-down degustation. Serving portions were generously accurate, sufficient to fill you up from appetizers to main and dessert. Restaurant ambience is always homey and warm, and service is excellent as expected. Detailed menu is provided in the photos for reference.
