Papaya Island Cove

Beach

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It was my first beach trip after lockdown. Compared to most places I've been, it wasn't extraordinary. It had its charm, like the Elephant Rock Formation. Cove hopping was great for sightseeing too. Overall it was a breath of fresh air. Didn't know Batangas still had more to offer. There were a lot... People often mention beach,

It was my first beach trip after lockdown. Compared to most places I've been, it wasn't extraordinary. It had its charm, like the Elephant Rock Formation. Cove hopping was great for sightseeing too. Overall it was a breath of fresh air. Didn't know Batangas still had more to offer. There were a lot of dogs though. And pretty chilly at night. We were here January 6-7, 2021.

Piece of Heaven on Earth. Island hopping, Snorkeling, Cliff Jumping, Trekking, and Sun Bathing at a very affordable price. Un explored and unpolluted beach just 2 hrs away from Manila. I love the place

We were 4 and it costs about 4k. Our sponsor provided the boat ride, tent, water to wash our bodies and mineral water to drink. And the tent too. We bought our own food from the nearby talipapa market before taking the 15 minute boat ride. Ate Ellen and his family were gracious. Globe and Smart had 3G signal good enough to stream music. There were makeshift toilets and Security personnel from the DENR. The island has trash from current and old visitors who are obviously, just stupid. You can also request to have an island hopping activity from Ate Ellen’s family. There would be a cliff jump, a short trek where that photo was taken and a fish feeding activity where you can snorkel too.

The place is wonderful. I hope the residents and visitors will keep the islands clean and organized.

We went here in October 2018. We rode on a motorized boat from Patungan Cove and we paid 100php per head. The beach is clean (though I hope that until now it's the same thing) and if you don't have your other needs for your stay like charcoal, beer, fish, meat, ice, etc., it's available here, however, it's just a bit pricey. There are also crablets in the sand and beneath the shore. The cottage ranges from 1500php to 3500php during that time.

Plastic garbage floating everywhere. Cottages are near the shore, no space for fun. Don't go there on weekends/ peak season.

Great overnight beach camping experience. We stayed at Hannukah Beach. There is solar electricity on that beach so you have lights during the night and you can charge your devices for a fee. The island hopping package includes cliff diving, snorkeling and fish feeding.

Great place for down to earth beach experience, affordable food and location, friendly natives, provides great outdoor activities and not to mention you can buy the things you have forgotten all in one island.

The place is nice, people who lived there are very sweet, they will ask you what other things you need. It was a relax and magical moment from us because you get what you expect, the comfy and nice view.. Little magic from sea awaits at night.. As the water slowly down and the moon shine brightly, this little sea creatures starts to crawl. Cute tho. Definitely will go back there for the 3rd time. Hope people around there is safe now.
