This is a nice jazz bar. It's not exactly hiding like a speakeasy but its facade is pretty plain and it doesn't have any signs outside to let people know of its existence though you'd hear the music. Inside, it's a cozy bar with a stage upfront for the musicians and an upper level. Max seating is probably 50ish. It does have clean toilets and pricing for food and drink is not expensive

Visited Tago on a Saturday. Check out their IG @tagojazz if you want to visit. I think you're supposed to have a reservation. The place would seem small because a good part of the first level is dedicated to the stage. First level can probably seat 30-40 people. There are more seats on the second level, but I was not able to have a look. Given this capacity, performances are meant to be intimate. Audiences are requested to lower down conversations so other guests can focus on the performance. Food and drinks may be served but I suggest filling up before going to the place as it can be pricey considering the serving size and the ingredients being used (menu included in my review). There is also a non-consumable door charge worth P250 (apprx. $5). It was my first time going into a jazz bar. It was a fun experience tho it can get a bit intimidating because it seems like the community is tightknit. Overall, it was a good experience.

Tago Jazz is a jazz club/bar/resto. It's got regular patrons and a very tight knit community of artists, musicians, and enthusiasts alike. They serve food and drinks and have different programs every month featuring jazz bands, singers, and open mic nights where you can jazz out with the locals. The musicians are quite talented and everyone was vibing. They've got different drink and food options some even vegetarian friendly. 10/10 would go back and recommend to a friend.

Been here many times. Amazing music. Delicious food. My only wish is that they would have better coffee. There's nothing like jazz & coffee

This is a very chill place to be if you love jazz. Drinks are reasonable but the performance is top notch! Parking and sitting inside can be difficult at times because of the small space. Highly recommended for the jazz fan

It’s a funky dive but the food is good, the cocktails are cheap, and the live music is probably the best jazz in the Philippines.

It's a great place to enjoy live music. The performers aren't super popular but they're great performers. There aren't a lot of options on their menu but their food is great. I especially recommend their version of Dynamite for those who love the thrill of eating spicy food. Their service crew is also very friendly and accommodating.

One of few (if not the only) bars that showcase authentic jazz in the metro. A great escape from the usual "jazz" branded lounge acts. Best place to watch live performances paired with Pinoy pulutan and good ol' San Miguel Beer. Nestled in a place that feels intimate but is just a few blocks away from EDSA.

Super nice local bar with live jazz music in the middle of random alley in Cubao. They open until late, has an outside section to drink and smoke and a good selection of alcohol and snacks. Nel, the owner, is super nice and easy going guy :-) I will repeat!

Food is delicious, worth the price. Ambiance and music give a relaxing feel. Staff are very attentive. Rest room is maintained. No parking space, street parking only. Smoking area outside. 2nd floor is wobbly when people are walking which is distracting when you're trying to feel the music.

I am delighted that I discovered this place! I love live jazz and I am happy that this place serves as a haven for Filipino jazz musicians. You have to place a reservation before you can go and the door fee is very affordable. You can find more information in their Facebook page. Named "Tago" which is a Tagalog word for "hidden" or "hide", it has indeed a discreet facade. The space inside is small and intimate. The food is priced like mid-upscale bistros nut the beers start at 85Php (I think!) Also good to note that the foodnis tasty! I tried the chicken skewers with pita, rice with pan fried sausage, and chili cheese rolls. I can't remember the actual names of the food I ate because funky jazz names. 😁

Literal na tago or hidden. Very classy area. If you are a jazz enthusiast, definitely love the place and vibe. Few food selections but excellent food here are served. persian-cuisine. Most likely pricey. 250 per head for the entrance. Parking is limited.

A hole in the wall jazz bar. This a very good place for those who like a different kind of vibe. Their menu needs updating. And their bar list needs more variety. But I would still recommend this place to anyone.

Cubao holds a special place in me because of great and unique finds like Cubao Expo and this gem of a jazz bar. More than glad to discover and visit this bar pre-pandemic. Hoping (or should I say aching) to experience this soon once this covid thing is done.

The place is ok, the band last night january 8, 2023. Swearing and uttering threats is very unprofessional! The owner should look into this, unacceptable behavior, uttering threat is a criminal offense, it is done during the show! I m not going back! Don't feel safe! Too bad, so sad! Unacceptable behavior!

Food and music are AWESOME! Yhe renovation has made it easier to attract more people and the layout makes it easier to appreciate the performances. My only issue the drinks menu as they do not have options of quality liquors or wines

Tago Jazz is a hidden gem in Quezon City, Philippines. It is a small, intimate jazz club that features live performances by local musicians. The atmosphere is relaxed and chill, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The musicians are all talented and passionate about their music, and they put on a great show. I highly recommend Tago Jazz to anyone who loves jazz music.
