I wish i could give 7 stars. Great find in Manila. Amazingly friendly staff that really know what they are doing. Cocktails are to die for. Cool tunes being played by a DJ behind the bar. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

This is the most Tito/Tita bar that I've been to so far in Poblacion. They were pumping 90's to ealry 2000's songs which gave that homey feeling. The place is beautiful. There's an actual giant library-grade bookshelf. The service was pretty good and so are the cocktails.

The hidden cocktail bar in Makati. There are a lot of local cocktail lovers. The price is reasonable, can enjoy original and classic cocktails. I was surprised that there were few people who stood and lined up while the seats were full.

This place can't be described by one word because our visit here felt like an out of body experience. Even in the entrance you could feel the mysterious vibe hiding something amazing inside and unlike the rest of the bars it wasn't even that crowded. I guess the music did fit in to the usual volume you would expect from clubs but it didn't bother us. Each inch of the place felt like it had such detail and thought to it. The perennial old fashion was a great companion for the night and just had enough kick for me to enjoy the company I was with. An exceptional sa sanctuary for the weary and thirsty of the Poblacion street.

If you're tired of all the business and noise of bars and dancefloors, The Spirits Library got you. I think, when they designed the place, someone said: "I want a bar that people could talk and not shout over each other the whole night." And this is the result. Great ambiance and music, and we're not even in their drinks menu. They have a limited go-to list of drinks but they also have "you name it, we'll make it" air to them. You can even tell what KIND of drink you're feeling, say you want something refreshing (from downinv too much tequila mixes), and they got you. Perhaps, you get to enjoy their jazz nights, too, and chill with some music.

Went here for drinks with friends. Really nice bar with great drinks, was really full on a saturday night, but after we had a few drinks and an hour, they were able to seat us. The mixologists can make a custom drink for you (priced accordingly of course). A little expensive, but about par for the course for the area. Paid in cash, card was available but the bar/counter area was a little crowded so didnt risk losing the card. Hope to get back here for jazz nights!

This place is quite a delighter but I could be biased. I was in the "detention room" which is a tucked away man cave with perhaps the widest range of whisky, brandy and rums I ve seen in Manila. The owner himself is a great host and loves talking about drams while we sipped on some Arran 18 Scotch. Only downside if you are gluttonous kinds while drinking alcohol, then there are no food options. But delighter again was that they have their own resto across the street and got us wagyu cubes in less than 30 mins. The bartender "Nima" was humble, curious and great with service. She knows her whisky too 😉... All in all super impressed. Going back there soon!

2 great cocktails with attentive and friendly service. They made a big deal over it being my wife's birthday too and gave us a shot. Would definitely return. Cocktails were ≈400P each and were very high quality.

The vibe is dark, cramped, and topped off with really good drinks. Service was great and bartenders are very knowledgeable about their drinks with many elements being made in house. Definitely one of my go tos in Pobla now. Be sure to reserve before going or you might find yourself standing near a wall for an hour or so.

Good cocktails and nice ambience. Sitting by the bar is a nice experience as you get to see the bartenders prepare the drinks.

This place was such a fun surprise for my buddies and I! We've been hopping around the city for a couple of hours prior, looking for an upbeat and lively spot, but also with a chill vibe. The crowd is eclectic and a great mix. We were very lucky to have three spots right at the bar on a Friday night. The resident band was playing that night and they performed right behind the bartenders. It felt like you were watching an awesome local band playing at a small venue. And you were right at front of stage, except there's a bar between you and the band and a league of really friendly and good mixologists :-) It was quite a unique experience and it was really fun and the staff are incredibly nice people. They were so welcoming and warm. I only cared for beer and whisky that evening and I was thoroughly satisfied and would certainly go back again. I can't say much about their food or cocktails, but the options they had were very interesting and definitely worth the try and curiosity.

Great service and it is obvious the staff have great pride in their work. They tailored a drink for me coz I don't drink. It has different monthly performance. Small place. Be prepared to sit by the bar coz there's nowhere else to sit.

We got lost trying to find this place. Because it wasn’t obvious outside. There is no sign, it was like a secret bar in a way. Lol. We tried to ask teenagers from a bar on the same street, and they don’t even know about this place. Thank God for that! You might compare this to Dr. Wine because of the interior. But I’d definitely go to this place than Dr. Wine. DW is quite overrated and is a pick-up joint for walkers. This place is pretty chill and laid back with very good music. It’s just too dark inside though. Oh, and the bathrooms are clean and the staff are very nice and accommodating. Especially the midget staff, he was very helpful.

Meh. We didn’t like the drinks. They were too strong and as well as expensive. We didn’t drink even half of our drinks. 😞 There wasn’t any much room for you to move around. But the place gives you a harry potter library vibe.

Wow! One of the best cocktail 🍹 place I have been to in the world. I had 2 cocktails “ avoid this” and the “old fashion”. I watched them make my drinks and they put a lot of effort and put in a lot of attention and detail in making a drink. There was a live Dj playing music, and the crowd was mature. Will be definitely coming back.

The spirits library exudes speak-easy vibes with a local twist in its inspired cocktails. The atmosphere and layout are impressive, creating a really enjoyable experience. The service is top-notch, making it the best bar I've visited in Manila. Highly recommend for a fantastic night out.

I've to this speakeasy multiple times and I always have a good time whenever I go here. Really good drinks, chill ambience, no rowdy drinkers mostly classy which I like. You can have drinks customized. Staffs are very nice.

The place is really relaxing. I love how the staff are so nice. Place is great! Drinks are good. Would definitely come back even when I'm solo. On Thursdays, it's Blues night. While Saturdays are for Jazz night. :) You can request for a specific drink. If you're non alcoholic, they serve mocktails.

Way too underrated – what an excellent bar: taste of cocktails, ambience, aesthetics, a diverse range of performances, a cosy space and a warm welcoming team! Great activities from Tuesday to Saturdays, but also a lovely place for a night cap on a Monday. The menu is pretty solid, i had a few.. something along the lines of don't order this, and the other with a peach / brulee. Also the Vivace when Karlo from Tempo was guest bartending. I enjoyed the bespoke cocktails too – it's pricier than most places, but worth a try. It gets quite loud when there's live music: it's perfect if you're there not so much for catch up conversations, but for the atmosphere and a good time out in the evening. Thank you to the wonderful team for being so accommodating and attentive throughout – my time hanging out at Spirits Library as an individual or a group is always wonderful.

Wow! Never been in love with a cocktail I use to order but the Spirit Library made me inlove with their Te Amo cocktail. It is made with passion, the place is magical. I am amazed inside the bar and the staff are cool. I should say it must be something to try and hop on when you are in Makati Philippines!

Good enough, solid 4. Limited selection of classic cocktails in the menu, but if you ask they can do it for you. I had nicely done sazerac. Signature cocktails are too ‘girlish’ for me ;) but this is just me, no judgement for other tastes.

Wonderful cocktails and I loved the ambiance. It's a a chill bar but I wouldn't go here for dancing as it can get crowded and would lack space.

Literally the best bar in NCR right now. Great atmosphere and amazing drinks. The bartenders here know exactly what they're doing. Don't waste your time elsewhere.

Great music, some great cocktails too. Love the vibes and staff is very welcoming. But the gateman is a bit annoying and thinks he owns the place. Please tell your gateman go be a courteous. He can be firm due to the nature of his job but doesn't have to be snooty and rude.

So far the best curated drinks in the Poblacion area. Bar tenders are friendly and they definitely engage with their customers. Interiors are well thought of.

I would suggest making a reservation before going here in order to get seats. We didn't have a reservation but staff were very friendly and attentive. We were just standing around the bar but still had a great time. Drinks were good too!

From the ambiance up to the drinks and staffs, it was a great experience. The selections are very wide. I super recommend this place to be one of the stops around poblacion.

New favorite bar in Manila. Intimate speakeasy style bar with high ceilings and interesting selection of cocktails. Music is chill and doesn’t overpower conversation. Definitely a place to bring a date, friends or just solo in the corner.

Went with a friend who happens to be food and beverage industry veteran. We left it without ordering. Speakeasy but looked like bit seedy. Went to restroom but it was not clean. There were only 5-6 guests in the bar including us. If you want to order things other than cocktail, order by looking at bottles. No price on display. 😱. Still have given rating 3 due to courteous staff and a good concept. Will visit again in few months before I decide to keep it or strike off my list.

My go to bar to get a proper cocktail.

A fun speakeasy sort of vibe. A friend and I walked by and couldn't tell if it was a bar or not, much less if it was open, but we pushed the door open anyways. To our delight was this beautifully designed bar. There was a live jazz band and friendly staff. It's definitely a place for intimate close conversations (there were some large private rooms upstairs). The cocktail list had some novel ingredients and made for a unique experience as well. Our only real complaint was that the lighting was a bit too moody and not well designed. It made reading the liquor wall difficult at best.
