Food is excellent, ruined by waitstaff. I should not need to go get a waitress every time because they are chatting with bartender with their backs turned to their tables They do not have enough menus, so took them from our table before we were done ordering. Drink service was so slow that I finished my drink before my lady even got hers. Then I had to go get a waitress for a second round. I loved this place before, was looking forward to this visit, but it will sadly be my last visit. I left angry and frustrated. Instead went to have the rest of our drinks across the street.

The service was bad!! One of our meals was forgotten, rather than just saying sorry and getting the meal they blamed it on the crowd. Then they ignored me when I asked about it and kept rolling their eyes when I talked. They were very rude, unprofessional and made the whole experience here horrible.

Ordered an enormous fish burger which came with a couple of huge onion rings, a pile of fries and an American flag stuck into it. It was basically what I would expect American food to be like, fairly large and stodgy but filling and well prepared. Just a bit, well, pub-grubby. The place itself is right in the heart of P.Burgos so it's absolutely mental there, total chaos and there is always something happening and something to see, so top marks for atmosphere. However, only go there if you don't mind being surrounded by working girls and old white guys chatting them up. My partner had spicy cheese logs and she found them to be really good but too much even as a meal, although it was intended as an appetiser. My drink was a San Mig Light which was chilled and she had a pineapple shake which was OK and pretty much what you would expect. For the price it's not a bad place to try.

Chill bar, nice drinks good food and helpful staff. I expected the billiards was free but it's not, no live music on weekend when I had been there last time, and it's very narrow actually for a singer to sit and play music there. Anyway I like the atmosphere.

I have just arrived in Manila after covid break and went to see my favourite resto bar in Makati. It's changed but not in a good way IMHO. I much preferred the previous open bar space than the current indoor and outdoor spaces separated by a glass and door. They killed some of the atmosphere. Also it used to be open 24/7, I miss the ability to come here for breakfast and morning coffee, now they open late in the afternoon.

Absolutely atrocious, ordered pizza and it had hair, would not have made a fuss only that the pizza took 20 minutes plus to arrive. Spoke to.manager, who refused to give any discount. Poor customer service skills not even an apology. I used to like this bar, with its friendly waitresses and food service, guess will go elsewhere. Ao

Cubana really used to be my favourite ever bar but in post pandemic times with recent flawed management policies it's in decline. One flawed policy decision is the the exclusion of freelancers unless they are accompanied by a foreigner...the presence of such girls in the past was a big attraction..the staff are still great, attractive and attentive and the security guys are real gents...last week a fight amongst some foreigners broke out, the security guys moved in quickly with restraint and diplomacy to quell the trouble, even giving first aid treatment to one of those involved who had suffered a head injury...they were very professional the exact opposite to most door security in my country..

After 17 years, Cafe Cubana is getting worst. Sisha in a cubana Bar. No free seats anymore, they putting everywhere reserved on the tables even there are no guests. The bands a not like before anymore and the waitresses are lazy to take care about the guests. Time to say good buy after so many years but if they not interested about guests then there are a lot of other places to go in Manila.

Always happy hang out at Cafe Cubana. I come for both things : the bands and the food. Bands are always super connected to the audience that often dance like crazy on the songs. Food is also great with a wide range of local and western dishes (big up to crispy pata). Cheery on the cake: waitresses are super cute and friendly ;-)

Only had breakfast in my 20hr stopover in Manila. Was delicious, but almost USA prices. Great music. Pleasant staff. Interesting people watching. $9.75 for omelet and coffee. I eat Thai omelet and latte for $1.95-$2.15 everyday for months. I can’t believe how expensive Manila is compared to other parts of SEA.

The place is great in itself tbh. The staff were wonderful and very friendly, although it might be tough for them to reach you quickly bc they keep passing us by and there were a lot of people when we got there but thats understandable. They need to change the locks on the girl's room tho, and the tiles going to said restroom was very sticky and slippery for some reason. I hope they can improve that soon.

Always bubbling with people, mostly foreigners. Its located in burgos street. They have outdoor seating and a live band, mostly singing English songs. You get various drinks ranging from San miguel beer to some foreign drinks. The margaritas are amazing, you need to taste the strawberry margarita which I think is the best. Though they dont have a wide range for food to eat. The snacks are decent. After 8pm the place is mostly crowded during weekends. Best suited to have a quick drink and watch people on the burgos street.

One of the most delicious πŸ˜‹ rib-eye steak I ever had outside of America or Europe which came as a total shock. However the live music was way too loud for my liking and it was too hot in the Borgas Manila to eat outside.

One of the best busy pubs for great choice of delicious food, Abundance of drinks,( with happy hours) Maganda waitresses and Lalaki bar staff ..The variety of live bands..( 2X each night) can make you return to this Cafe Cubana each night.A Special mention to *Joe and Hazel*

Beautiful place and great food, the live entertainment was great but the sounds system needs a little work to hear the singer more clearly. The down side I didn’t like was the type of fries they had and they didn’t have regular fries as a option. I guess it’s they signature fries. Other than that great place.

Great place for a drink and to people watch. The food is awesome and the kitchen is quick. Make sure to try the chicken wings. Great prices for portion. Drink specials too. Staff are so friendly and speak English well. Live music on certain nights. Patio is great and the inside is so nicely air conditioned. Free WiFi.

Good live music, friendly staff, variety of drinks and foods. Live bands usually cover the songs of 80’s and 90’s. Sometimes they perform 70’s too. Staff uniform and the bar decorations are pretty nice. Drink service is fast. Only problem was slow service when we ordered food.

  • 5/5 Arjun S. 1 year ago on Google
Good place to listen to live music. Most of the bands play covers of classic rock from the 70’s and 80’s. The place gets very lively over the weekend. The food is nothing great but we go there for the music. Good variety of drinks. Hope they add some craft beers too.

I really don't want to knock down the service but it can be quite slow. But be patient with the staff because they are always on the hustle. I think the backlog is in the kitchen . With that said, this is a must go to place for expats or locals. Great food, reasonable prices, and live music throughout the week. One of the better Cubano sandwiches I've had outside of the states. Sit out on the patio and enjoy the people watching. Or get a larger table with a group of your friends and enjoy a lively evening inside.

Nothing special on the food actually and the cocktails were too strong and didn't really taste that good but the music is good tho and you can smoke anywhere the area even inside with the live band.

Cuban food restaurant and bar. However the Philippines food also available here. Shisig, adobo soup are so tasty.

Long island iced tea was pretty good. Quite empty at 18:30. The band comes on at 22:00, so I'd imagine it could get quite busy. There is a lot of seating outside the bar. This is an upmarket place to hang out, not for cheap charlies. I ordered a simple starter of chicken wings that took ages. The waitressing staff were all happily eating their food at the bar whilst I waited for mine.

Good selection of drinks. I'd say that their prices were affordable in terms of Makati standards. Customer service was pretty awesome as well. Gotta check out this bar whenever you tend to walk around Burgos street
