Room is clean and bed is comfortable. It is about 15mins to 20mins walk to poblacion area, depending on how fast you walk. The place is at the back and along residential area. There is a nearby police station too. Location is overall okay but downside for us would be its not along the common road so friends kind of got lost. Price is reasonable too. PS: I dont think they have an elevator.

Quite a nice place to stay. The staff is very friendly and the location is good. Also, it’s very clean and their is a water dispenser. The only issue is that the rooms are quite small.

Very nice 2 nights stay here. Staff is super lovely, this brand new little building offers a nice view on the rooftop. There’s still some stuff to improve but overall it is nice. WiFi is not working in the room yet but no big deal to go down and use the WiFi from the little coffee shop called Empire (they have good breakfast and pastries there). I recommend you this little hotel, very good for couple or 3 people stay as you have an extra mattress.

Good budget hotel, nice clean rooms, good wifi, TV with Netflix and really friendly staff! The neighbourhood might be a little loud at night with dogs, music, etc. if you’re a light sleeper. It is a nice hotel in Makati for the price

I really loved my stay at Gomez House! I was there last year in August and September. It’s a cute little hotel, very clean, super friendly staff and a nice rooftop terrace. Next time I’m in Manila, I’ll definitely stay here again!

Top location, close to the Poblacion down town. Spotless clean, an amazing professional staff. Super cozy rooftop. I loved staying there. It just has a great vibe to it. Thanks

Charming little hotel in the middle of the city, and the heart of Poblacion, Makati's night life area. Clean rooms and wonderful helpful staff. I recommend it.

No frills budget accommodation, building fully renovated in 2019, small but nice and well designed rooms (the issue with the shower overflowing mentioned in previous reviews has been solved), located in Poblacion, the hip neighborhood of Makati, but far enough of the noisier areas. The negative points: 4 floors without elevator and wi-fi only works on the ground floor (not in the rooms). It’s a good quality/value proposal and I recommend it if you want to spend a couple of nights in Manila and enjoy the restaurant and nightlife scene of Poblacion.

We came to Manila for one night. The hotel was exactly what we needed clean and comfortable and well located. The staff were great and attantive. They a small cafe downstairs with great pasteries. We were really happy with our choice to stay there and for sure next time we come to Manila.

Victor, Yna and the rest of the staff were super kind a professional. I first stayed at the second floor and I couldn’t sleep my first two nights because it was so loud outside because of the Jeepneys. Stuff beyond the control of the hotel. Then they moved me to fourth floor. It was a lot more quieter. I think because the door has a bottom stopper dampener at the bottom of the door. I HIGHLY SUGGEST the owner to invest in noise sealing the doors. It will help a lot. In addition if possible figuring a way to fully cover the windows with bigger blinds. The roof deck was my favorite. I sunbathe daily so it was fantastic. I like the pastry breakfast and Yvonne was so kind who worked in the front. Cristoff helped me with the luggage’s and he was tremendous help because I have a slipped disc and I couldn’t carry anything heavy. To us foreigners always remember to tip the staff with at least 50 pesos when they help you with things. Thanks for the great stay I look forward to staying at their parent property Hotel Durban sometime. I honestly would have left a one star review because of the noise but the clean rooms and kind staff far went beyond five stars. I love the heart of the Filipino. Kindly, Henry Wang

Quite a cool place downtown Makati. Their rooftop is unreal, given what you pay for the accomodation! Rooms are small but well arranged. Noise in the room is however a reason for the four stars, together with the place being renovated at the moment. As such no luggage storage and breakfast is minimalized since the bakery is getting an upgrade.

Absolutely one of my favorite place to do a staycation in Makati. Rooms are compact but the space has been utilized well. Very affordable rates per night with free continental breakfast. The staff is superb! They have an awesome rooftop too.

we really like the Gomez House, we went there 2 times, specially the front desk staff that is so helpful, friendly, and professional. Rooms are not so big but it is enough for just sleping there, very clean, very new, next to many nice restaurants. The breakast at the rooftop maybe was not perfect but we saw works going on at the lobby so it will probably be just prefect after the new area is all set.

Staff are all friendly and accomodating. Location is very nice... Not far from the city center but everything you need is one ride away or just a walk away... Food establishments are very near specially the burgos street wherein you can have your own culinary adventure... They gave free Continental Breakfast with my stay but they are always the same. I hope they bake fresh bread daily and they have different varieties so the guests will not get bored. They serve good coffee. Take note: they have steep stairs no elevator. Rooms are small but placed very well. I love the bed, not hard and the pillows are super soft, I can just snuggle all day.

We needed a place in Poblacion that was budget-friendly and was in walking distance of the nightlife district, and this was a great choice! We were able to have a quick and hassle-free reservation through an online booking app. The front desk and staff were very accommodating. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at the earliest check-in time, but they compensated with complimentary drinks. I loved the interior of the hotel and our room was very clean. I recommend the Studio room for couples. I also liked the roof deck, it's a nice place to chill and bring in your own food and drinks to end the night. We also felt very safe during our stay since it's near the police station. The complimentary breakfast's servings were very small, but I personally didn't mind since I don't like big meals in the morning. Food and drinks at the deli are a bit pricey, but there are several restaurants nearby anyways. Definitely coming back again :)

Good value and everything in new condition. But expect a small room and beware of the clothes hanging rack if you're tall. Staffs are helpful too.
