Wow, did Power Plant Mall blow up (figuratively, of course) since we were last here before the pandemic! Lots of new high-end shops and great new restaurants. So much to choose from! But in the end, we found ourselves going to our old reliables, like Shi Lin for their great xiao long bao and other Chinese dishes, and Pinkberry frozen yoghurt for dessert. Will definitely be back to try their other new food outlets and retail offerings. Parking is plentiful and well-organized; the mall is not too crowded and well-lit; and the ambient air temperature is kept very comfortable. Truly one of the must-visit malls in Metro Manila.

Too narrow hallways. Quite inconvenient especially when it gets too crowded. I was seated at N1. It was really uncomfortable with that railings blocking the view.

We went here to watch movie and we can say that we enjoyed the time we spent in their cinema. The cinema was not too cold unlike any others and the quality of sound is definitely one of the reasons why we decided to watch here. The ambiance was great too! Looking forward to go here during holiday season to take more pictures at their halls as what you see in the photo.

For the pricepoint, it would be good to make some improvements on the air conditioning as it tends to be too cold for comfort throughout the movie. Added to that, seat numbers are only lit by the floor which can be an inconvenience for those who have poor vision. Aside from that, overall experience was good topped off with very comfortable seats! And ofcourse, the very mall itself - Powerplant, still remains a favorite of ours amongst the many malls in the Metro🌟❀

Clean, senior and pet friendly, good dining and shopping establishments, supermarket, salons, spa, health & wellness, and ample parking with valet services. Great Christmas decors. Awesome christmas raffles yearly.

Always go here with the family. Usually sparse if there isn't a big film showing, so it's pretty chill. Has the essential food stalls you might want to watch a movie with: Starbucks, Potato corner, Big chill, etc. (No milk tea thoughπŸ₯²) Their popcorn is good as well! The cinema itself is clean and the seats recline for a more comfy experience.

For a more relaxed shopping and cinema experience, head here--less crowded, narrower social strata, and more refined collection of stores.

Nice theater. Admission and snack prices were fine. Theater is clean and well cared for. Seat are standard theater seats. The air conditioning was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g. And the sound was insanely loud. This, the three stars.

Missed watching movie here. Sound system (dolby) need to be checked, though. (We were seated couple of rows from the farthest and vocals are not so clear) ALSO the parking space is soooo limited.

The cinema itself is good. The new surround sound is quite amazing. Well maintained, clean, and smells wonderful! As of this writing, people are allowed to eat inside the cinemas again. I'm giving it 4 stars because the ticket counters are so slow. If you're cutting it too close to the start of the film to buy a ticket, say goodbye to the first 5-10 minutes. Also the chairs are a bit too snug for bigger guys.

This is the first time I was disappointed with the service of Power Plant Cinema because of the STAFF. We watched The Eternals on Dec. 4, 3:30pm showing. We paid the tickets online and received an email, which "encouraged" moviegoers to register on the umakemakatisafe website and to bring their vaccination cards. We brought our vaccination cards for sure. But we didn't think the registration on the said website was REQUIRED because the wording in the email indicated it was only ENCOURAGED. What's more, your posters outside the cinema houses didn't say it was required. In fact, the only time people find it out it's required is when the staff asks for it and inside the movie house when the ad about the registration plays. Anyway, this could have been a SMALL ISSUE for us, if not for the STAFF IN FRONT of the movie house. When we simply said that we hadn't registered yet because Power Plant's email MERELY said "encouraged," she condescendingly questioned "Di niyo ba natanggap yung email?" Again, we already said we did, but the issue was the wording which said "ENCOURAGED" rather than "REQUIRED" to register. Aside from that, she loudly smacked her hand on her leg in a show of impatience towards us when we were just explaining ourselves. Registering on the website was not the issue, but the fact is, we were MISLED by your email. And your STAFF approaching the matter with a self-indulgent tantrum in front of other people lining up was the most UNPROFESSIONAL display I have seen from people working in Power Plant Cinema. Considering not a lot of people are willing to go back to watching movies in the cinema yet due to the pandemic, I advise you to train your staff to be more respectful of the moviegoers who are actually willing to help you keep your cinemas afloat despite the uncertainties of the pandemic. I have already given the name of the movie and the date and time of when we watched it. I hope you can have a word with the staff who were on duty during that schedule.

My mom and I always get cheese popcorn when we're at the mallβ€”even when we aren't watching anything! A bit sad how they stopped selling popcorn inside the mall though :( Still have to go outside to purchase. Would be nice if they opted to keep a small pop-up inside the mall as well.

First time in the cinema since the pandemic happened!! Was so excited and I was not disappointed. One seat apart and they sanitize in between screenings. There are air filters too. No eating and drinking inside of course. Missed the cinema so much and I'm glad I went here for my first in a long time

Beyond delighted that my favorite mall is now growing in foot traffic! Graduated in the nearby School, Powerplant mall has grown on me! I Love the vibe, the selection of shops, the exclusive location, and their restrooms with bidet! My favorite is the piano sessions… it adds a hotel vibe to the mall!

I like the accesibility of the place. It's not as big as Estancia Malls, but there are many stores worth visiting. Fully Booked (3rd floor) here is bigger and has more selections compared to the store in SM MOA. It has Mecury Drug store, Mcdo, Jollibee at the lower groud level for those who have limited budget for meds and food. They also have Taho (soybean curd), ice cream, & fruits stall on the same level. I also enjoyed The Markeplace (their grocery store) and the wide variety of selection of meals in the food section. The cinema is on the 3rd floor where you can also find Coffee Bean & Tea leaf (CBTL), i'm not sure if it's Starbucks I saw beside CBTL. They also have food court on same level (which by the way my brother said they sell fresh oysters, i'll try this next time). Toilet are on 2nd and 3rd floor, which is well maintained. The place is not too crowded even if it's Holiday season. Christmas decors are better (in my opinion) compared to other malls.

One of the best cinemas in manila for me. It's small and cozy, but the sound quality of this cinema is unmatched even if you compare it to an iMax theater. Personal opinion only.

I recently visited Power Plant Cinema and overall, I had a delightful experience. The friendly and attentive staff, comfortable seating, and affordable ticket prices made my trip to the movies a pleasant one. While there were minor issues with the popcorn, they certainly did not overshadow the positive aspects of the cinema. One of the highlights of my visit was the welcoming and helpful staff. From the moment I entered the cinema, they greeted me with warm smiles and guided me through the ticketing process efficiently. Their friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the rest of my visit.

Easily one of the high end malls in Makati. Though it’s not that big of a mall, there are enough shops to go around and have a look see or just sit around cafes and restaurants to pass your time. There are other shops outside the mall and strolling around is nice since there are a lot of trees in the area.

An amazing experience, to shop, dine and relax. From the get-go, you are made to feel safe. Especially in times such as these, during a health crisis, Government rules are followed and enforced. Well done to the staff and security at Powerplant / Rockwell. It's nice knowing that you work towards your motto and do it 'Rock-well'.

Power Plant Cinema in Manila is an absolute blast! As a movie enthusiast, I was blown away by the top-notch facilities and exceptional cinematic experience. The state-of-the-art screens, comfortable seating, and fantastic sound system create an immersive environment that truly brings movies to life. Whether you're a film buff or just looking for a great time at the movies, Power Plant Cinema is a definite must-visit in Manila!

Powerplant is a calm and posh shopping and dining area, with a good number of brand specialty shops and restos. Cinema is on top level of the 5 storey building. There are a variety of food stalls right at the ticket area. Movie house has state of tech high quality display, surround sound, and elegant ergonomic comfortable seats. There is a little Bahn Mi shop hidden around the cinema area. The Parking is on the basement, and there are three pick up points for Grab. Apart from the cinema, there is toy store and a play area for kids, apart from the many specialty shops. Most of the fine food shops are on the ground floor. The architecture o Power Plant has high ceilings and wide spaces and walkways. Restrooms are well maintained and very clean, with PWD designated rooms. There is a grandpiano at the grandfloor that seems open for anyone to play. Guards and attendants in the entraces and facilities are particularly very accommodating and polite. BATMAN was so nice to my grandson.

One of the best high-end malls in Metro Manila. All shops are operating already including the Cinemas. Comfort rooms are newly renovated. Lots of dining and shopping options. Classy and not crowded.

Cinema is very clean. Size of seat is just right to sit comfortably. There's one cinema that has its own bathroom and one cinema with a table between two chairs. Sound quality is crisp and bass is not broken. You won't hear sounds from adjacent cinema

This is by far the best movie theater I've been to and the Manila area. Great seats, great movies a lot better than Robinson's place in malate

A pleasant experience all around, with their reserved, reclining seats. Quality of popcorn flavoring could have been better.

One of the most comfortable cinemas and plenty of places to eat prior and after watching a film. Normally ample parking. Five screens.

It's ok. The food stall only accepts cash which sucks. Tickets are 700 with free snacks but they didn't provide it. The viewing experience was great though

After attending the wake of a friend, we decided to go to Power Plant Mall to eat lunch and do the usual "pagpag". The place is so clean, the guards well mannered and spoke good English, which was a total surprise. I asked for directions in taglish and he replied in English. I couldn't keep a giggle as i was totally gobsmacked. We decided to eat at Yabu but the place is full to capacity so we ended up eating at Milky Way. The food is ok but way too pricey. Yabu would have been better. The place is accessible via public transport which is a plus, but the place is for well off people.

It may not have as large a space as other malls, but its what's inside that counts. In terms of ambiance, Power Plant mall is one of the best in Metro Manila. The shopping experience here is definitely different - very upscale; fresh yet elegant.

  • 5/5 Camilo Mendoza Villanueva J. 1 year ago on Google
The first movie I saw at Power Plant Cinema was "Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" and what impressed me was the multi-button seats, which of course, I wasn't able to toy with or even try for fear of upsetting seatmates, and the awesome surround moving sound. I realized though that this isn't true for all cinema, the seat functionalities, because when we watched "KATIPS The Movie" the seats were plain seats with the cup holders, although there is still the surround moving sound that did wonders to the songs and sounds of the movie, which I first saw at Gateway Cinema in Cubao, with background music louder than the dialogue and the uneven sounds. I'm not sure though if the even sound quality is due to the awesome sound system of the Power Plant Cinema or due to remastering the original movie to fix the uneven sound quality. The washrooms are nice, but may not be friendly for the elderly since one had to go down several steps to the toilet.

  • 4/5 Richard A F. 1 year ago on Google
I consider power plant cinema to be one of the better multiplex cinemas in Metro Manila. Located at the top-most level of power plant mall inside Rockwell center in Makati, they have six cinemas here which features excellent sound systems and crystal clear projectors as well as excellent food choices to complete your theatrical experience

  • 5/5 Bryan Edward T. 1 year ago on Google
Still the best cinema in Makati based only experience. Seats are comfy and they provide a great sound system. Although Popcorn is the typical movie viewing snack. You can also have French Fries with the Potato Corner snack. Although the Gerry's Grill is a bit pricey it has delicious Hotdogs and Coen Dogs to also go if you don't mind eating a hot dog watching a film.
