My fiance and I traveled to South East Asia for nearly six years and we used to stay at the pension along Del Pilar Street for many years ago whenever we travel to Manila. But lately, things are getting tough especially with the people who works there. So rude! So we decided to look for another place to stay and looked at Chill Out Guest House. I stayed for two weeks last September-October and stayed at the dorm for only Php350 a night plus a/c with it's own bathroom. I went back this month and stayed for 9 days before heading to the US. The real thing I like about the place is it's location (walking distance to Roxas boulevard, the Rizal Park, the Old Church, and tons of places to party just around Remedios circle) and the PEOPLE who works there. Eden and Mercy at the reception were super nice and knowledgeable about places to go to and the guys Bong, Ryan and Renz in housekeeping were very helpful and friendly. The guards were very courteous as well. It's clean and safe and especially affordable especially for back packers :) Free and wide range of wifi is a plus and you can also cook your own meal at their kitchen for FREE! I would be in America for quite sometime and I would recommend this place to anyone and would still stay AGAIN if I come back in the Philippines:)

👍 It's fairly okay. A little difficult to find but if familiar to the place there will be no problem in navigating.
