An authentic and high-energy lunch experience. First off, I went when there was a office holiday party also happening and it all added to the festive air of the place. The setting is formal. The environment as if you are visiting someone’s home. There’s also an outdoor seating area out back. Though I sat inside. The salad was spot on. The highlight was the traditional Filipino beef stew with rice. I loved the flavors and light spicy taste. And capped the meal with a fried banana dessert. All executed superbly and tasting great. I am glad I went here, and I highly recommend going.

Amazing for post-work drinks and dates. If you're not watching your diet, would most definitely recommended the chicharon bulaklak and the leche flan.

Very classy place with good food! Came here for our friend's birthday treat and was pleasantly surprised by the vibe of the place. The restaurant is located near Malacañang so you do have to leave an ID at the gate before reaching the restaurant but there was ample parking outside. Servers were very friendly and food was good. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Filipino restaurant, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu offered a wide variety of traditional Filipino dishes. To top it off, the service was excellent throughout the meal, with our server providing helpful recommendations and checking in on us regularly to ensure we were enjoying our experience. Overall, I highly recommend this Filipino restaurant to anyone looking for delicious and authentic cuisine, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Beautiful interior that gives the ancestral home restaurant a classy old world vibe. The problem is the limited menu. Some items on the menu are also not available. The dessert is delicious (Mango Float and cheesecake) and so are the appetizers. The grilled tuna panga is fresh and tasty but the callos had a thin and diluted sauce. Overall, a great place for a date but the food choices and food quality must level up for this dining place to reach its full poential.

Was hesitant at first because the place looks snobby. I was totally wrong. The whole staff esp TIN made my parents very comfortable. She is very warm and helpful. Very satisfied with the service. Food - delicious and generous servings. Value-for-money if celebrating. Did not find the food too salty which is common in many Filipino dishes. Ambience - peaceful and beautiful even the outdoor area Will definitely go back to bring my balikbayan family members.

Oh. My. God! This place is a gem! A home for classic Filipino food with a classy atmosphere. The flavors are what you'd expect for Filipino food, but just done right. If ever you have friends or guests who want to experience Filipino cuisine, I would recommend Emilia's! The serving time was quick and the serving size was just right for us. An amazing experience!

Great food and ambiance! Price was reasonable given how yummy the food is and how elegant the place is. We got the truffle mushroom paella which is to die for! The callos is so good too! I’m not a fan of lumps ung Shanghai but this Filipino lumpia is gooood! You can skip the crispy shrimp :) The male waitstaff are friendly and courteous. The female waitstaff needs a bit more finesse. Also, the staff near the bar (they were drying or organizing the utensils) should turn down the volume of their voices a notch. Loud clanking of the utensils and loud conversations echoed in the dining area.

Overall 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 much love for this resto, though food can have a wee bit of improvement, just a wee and not all. Grilled spare ribs with Jack Daniel sauce is to die for, as well as their sisig, though it could do away with the bell peppers. And the dessert? Oh wow, all superb, just be sure to pair them with coffee to enjoy them best. They have ample parking space, and the entire place just gave me the old Manila vibe, classy in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff know their thing- hospitality-wise and so polite, very quick and attentive, kudos to the management for their training. will definitely keep coming back.

Celebrated a birthday dinner at Emilia's! I loved the ambiance of the restaurant, classy and elegant! Service was great! The staff was so friendly. Special mention to the one assigned to us, Ryu(?). As he did a great job on giving us the best experience on what Emilia can offer. I found the amount of serving a little bit "short" for its price. But I have NO complaints about its taste and presentation as it was delicious! I liked the Sinigang na Salmon with Miso and the Spareribs! It's a must to experience dining here!

EMILIA, House of Filipino Food, offers a delightful culinary experience in a charming classic setting—an old house transformed into a restaurant. The ambiance alone is a feast for the eyes. The place is located inside the Malacañang Complex. My taste buds were treated to an exquisite journey, especially with the charcoal-grilled spare ribs smothered in Jack Daniel sauce—a perfect blend of savory and smoky flavors. The crispy bagnet Kare Kare was a revelation, combining the crunch of bagnet with the rich, savory goodness of the peanut sauce. The adobong pusit was a highlight, showcasing a perfect balance of tangy and savory notes that left a lasting impression. What truly stood out, besides the delectable dishes, was the impeccable service provided by their crew—attentive, friendly, and truly enhancing the overall dining experience. EMILIA is a gem for those seeking not only authentic Filipino flavors but also a nostalgic ambiance that complements the classic taste of their dishes. A must-visit for any food enthusiast.

If you want to taste authentic Filipino cuisine, don't miss out on this hidden gem. And will undoubtedly satisfy your desire for authentic cuisine. The restaurant takes pleasure in sourcing its products locally and cooking meals with meticulous care and attention to detail. You won't regret dropping by this restaurant, whether you're a local or a tourist, for a taste of absolutely great Filipino cooking, and the setting is ideal for creating a memorable dining experience. Take time to check their food and the feel the nature with their ambience.

Ate here twice already and planning on eating again with friends. Never disappointing, and in fact so good for their price. A must try if you want to try good Filipino dishes on a hidden spot in Manila.

  • 5/5 Clemen C. 2 years ago on Google
I love the space and ambiance. The main courses were great but they can improve on the viands. The bagoong for Kare kare was too sweet and the sauce for the crispy pata was too sour.

An authentic Filipino Food Restaurant located inside the historic Malacanang compound. A Hispanic Mansion House converted to a Filipino Restaurant The place is beautiful and comfy A must visit Resto when you're in Manila

The restaurant presented an extensive selection of authentic Filipino cuisine. Additionally, the service was exceptional from start to finish, as our waiter provided useful suggestions and regularly checked in on us to ensure our satisfaction. The ambiance of the place was very elegant and refined. There was ample parking available outside. The servers were extremely friendly, and the food was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant to others!

The 5 star rating is for their consistency. I’ve been to Emilia several times and I always left the restaurant fully satisfied. For recommendations, try their delicious and delightful arroz caldo, kare-kare with crispy bagnet, pancit canton, and for dessert, banana turon with ube.

I recently visited this restaurant and I was blown away by the fantastic service provided by the waiters. They were so accommodating and made sure that we had everything we needed. The environment was also lovely and comfortable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. And let's talk about the food - it was absolutely awesome! Every dish we ordered was delicious and prepared to perfection. I would highly recommend trying Kare-Kare - it was my personal favorite. Overall, I had such a great time at this restaurant that I can't wait to go back again. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't already!

My first experience with this restaurant and it is very good. We ordered 1 fish dish (Pampino) and 1 dessert (banana crepe with chocolate sauce). The 2 dishes are very good. We definitely go back to try different dishes. PS: The ONLY restaurant is in Malacañang where is the official residence of the Philippines's president. We got a taxi spam saying there is the same restaurant 's name in Makati. From Intramuros, it should be a 20min taxi ride
