Plaza de la Reina in Valencia is a true testament to the city's rich history and vibrant culture, making it an absolute must-visit destination. This charming square effortlessly blends old-world charm with modern vitality, creating an enchanting atmosphere that captivates visitors of all ages. The architecture surrounding the square is a sight to behold. The iconic Cathedral of Valencia, with its stunning blend of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque styles, dominates the skyline. Its intricate details and awe-inspiring beauty make it a must-see landmark for history and architecture enthusiasts. But Plaza de la Reina offers more than just architectural marvels. It's a lively hub of activity. You can sit at one of the numerous cafés or restaurants that line the square and watch the world go by while savoring delicious Spanish cuisine. Shopping enthusiasts will also find themselves in paradise, with numerous boutiques and shops nearby, offering everything from local crafts to high-end fashion. What truly sets this square apart is its unique energy. Street performers, musicians, and artists often gather here, infusing the air with a sense of creativity and celebration. Whether you visit during the day or at night when the square is beautifully illuminated, Plaza de la Reina never fails to leave a lasting impression. In conclusion, Plaza de la Reina Valencia is a captivating blend of history, culture, and contemporary life. It's a place where you can immerse yourself in the heart and soul of Valencia, and it's an experience that you won't want to miss during your visit to this stunning city.

..if the river (without water) which runs through this beautiful city were a bloodstream then the sun beaten iconic Plaza de la Reina would be the very heart. Obviously touristy and inevitably a little over priced but then it is after all the beating heart, and of course it sits in an absolute must see area. So, after climbing El Micalet get your Google on, pop back to the Plaza de La Virgen, then reverse through the Plaza Redonda on your way to El Mercado Central. If can make it now then great, as you'll avoid the excessive crowds because of these crazy Covid times. You could buy picnic foods from the market, or takeaway food from the family run local bars to support those suffering in the hospitality industry...then find yourself a quiet spot if the terraces are still closed ..

We booked a vacation stay across from this beautiful plaza and enjoyed every minute of the day. This plaza hosts the Cathedral de Valencia and is one of the most visited places in Valencia. The area is visited by locals and tourist alike, with lots of shops and restaurants, making it a central location in Ciutat Vella (Old City) of the beautiful city of Valencia. A must see if you ever visit this beautiful city.

Newly renovated public plaza is surrounded by great restaurants and bars all within a short walk. Comes to life in the evenings. Beautiful view of cathedrals. Must see the Plaza of the Virgen which is close by as well.

Stunning stunning stunning the Sience Quarter is as futuristic as the centre of the town is medieval it is the Ying to its Yang. You are transformed into a space that is space age. I half expected flying cars to fly over my head. You should allow a whole day if you wish to visit all the attractions inside these buildings but just seeing the outside of these and wondering along the promenades is a treat in itself.

Located in the old town, this square is quite beautiful. It is now waiting for its visitors with its new look. This square is located at the cathedral of Valencia. You can find restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops around it. It is a very touristic location.

Great for exploring the historical and cultural sights of Valencia. From ancient Roman ruins to the grandiose cathedral. The shops are some of the best souvenir shops in town, some are real gems with authentic items (not made in china). Be mindful of the church rules when visiting them. Headwear such as ball caps should be removed. Silence is appreciated by the local parishioners.

A nice place to visit surrounded by beautiful buildings. Always a lot of people so if you find a free bench it is fun to just sit and watch everything that is going on. Well worth a visit.

Good for a walk by, some interesting things to eat and shop nearby. Wasn't a high point but it's most likely something you'll pass by, take a moment to observe and move on.

Very busy large Plaza which was revamped one year ago. Unfortunately, to cater for underground parking the trees, shrubs and fountains which gave the area character were remove leaving a sterile expanse surrounded by shops and eateries. Steel poles with floodlights are tied together with triangular tarpaulins, presumably to create shade but since there's no reason to stop under them the only purpose they serve is to obstruct the view of the beautiful historic buildings surrounding. The shiny slabs which cover the ground are already discoloured. Best part of the presentation is a board showing how lovely the Plaza was before modernisation.

La Plaza de la Reina in Valencia, Spain is a must to see when visiting Valencia. Recently they have renovated the common grounds and makes it easier to visit and enjoy the surroundings. Don’t miss the beautiful cathedral and the chapel where the cup that Jesus drank from on the last supper is holly guarded. Very short walk to the Mercado Central! Wonderful.. don’t miss it!

The square is surrounded by beautiful historic buildings. It seems like a lot of care has been put in to keep everything spotless. It's stunning. Restaurants around the square charge more than average, but the atmosphere is worth it. The square and Valencia in particular is highly recommended.

Under construction but I can’t wait to see what it will be like after the big trucks are finished haha. Nice restaurants and a delicious ice cream place

The square looks incredibly beautiful after the refurbishment. I just missed some trees and palm trees (apparently it isn't possible due to the underground parking). It is quiet during the day but busting with life in the evening.

Nice square, but OMG these bells ring like every freaking 15 mins, I couldnt stay there for long bc I was going crazy. I had this unpleasant Experience that I was actually staying for a few days in one of the buildings there, I couldn't sleep one night without being woken up again and again. And I used to live next to a church with bells for 17 urs. But these are just so loud, ring for so long and so often! Poor ppl that live there... Sorry, I just had to let my frustration out
