The museum is great but there’s creepy guy in the chapel. First, he will explain to you the history behind the place but then he is going to tell you weird stories about all the times he saw people naked. This man is deranged!

(Translated by Google) In its architectural complex it is better known as the Patriarch's Church, it is located in the center of the old San Francisco neighborhood, since the 16th century it houses the old seminary. This set is also known as the patriarch's museum. It houses a cloister with one of the few sundials that exist in Valencia. It is undoubtedly the great unknown, despite being one of the largest monuments in the city and also the greatest exponent of our history. It is worth a visit. It well deserves a mass.

Not to be missed if you are interested in art history. The tiny museum belongs to a working seminary and has major works by heavyweights such as Caravaggio and El Greco. You can get up & close to the paintings and really marvel at the brush strokes and details of each work. Also has a manuscript by Thomas More. €5 admission is a bargain and supports the funding of the museum.

Located in beautiful square with several cafes and restaurants in vicinity. Is a working seminary so not as curated as a dedicated museum but small, excellent art collection includes Caravaggio and el Greco. Is not accessible (high step to enter, no lift to paintings.

I just came here today for the first time, which is quite shameful since I've been living in Valencia my entire life- this shows how little this gem is known even for the locals. I was really surprised by what it probably is one of the most impressive sacred art collections of the city. The small but well curated exhibition includes masterpieces by Caravaggio and El Greco among others as well as other treasures like a manuscript by Saint Thomas Moore. The guided tour (at an affordable 7€, less if you're a student) is highly recommended. The building, which is still today a seminary, and the church are also worth the visit!

Very small, 5 EUR entrance fee. There are a lot of great museum in Valencia for free. But this one belongs to the church, so it explains everything. Not worth the money!

(Translated by Google) A very large building that houses the seminary college, a small museum with paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries, the Chapel of Communion and the Church of the Patriarch. The seminary college was founded at the end of the 16th century by Juan de Ribera, patriarch of Antioquia for the training of priests following the guidelines of the Counter-Reformation after the Council of Trent. Noteworthy is the Renaissance-style cloister with the sculpture of San Juan de Ribera made by Mariano Benlliure in 1896. The individual ticket costs 5 euros with what you can see the cloister, the museum and the chapel. There are also guided tours for 12 euros that can be purchased through the website. The entrance to the church is free and free, except for the hours of mass.

(Translated by Google) Pleasant place with few people. The paintings are very beautiful and the few people allow us to really appreciate them and take our time. The € 5 church is a bit expensive for one place. But the interior decorations are majestic.

(Translated by Google) I find it very expensive € 5 for the only room they exhibit! Apart from the paintings of the church. It is a private religious institution and they do not make any discount even if you are unemployed and some cadres are attributed (Original) Lo encuentro muy caro 5€ para la única sala que exponen!

Small but very beautiful art museum in a monastery, worth a visit for the building alone. The collection of mainly 17th and 18th century religious art gives a good overview of the typical painting of the times.

Excellent. You should BOOK A GUIDED TOUR!! The monument lacks explanation panels, a tour is essential if you want to learn what is behind the figures.

A museum full of copies, without mentioning it anywhere. Some copies even so bad as to constitute an insult. Just two examples, F. Barozzi from the Vatican museum and Caravaggio from Santa Maria del Popolo in Rome.

(Translated by Google) A chapel for prayer, reflect on our Faith. Place of worship at 10 am Mass with songs in Gregorian. On Thursday, a small procession takes place at the end of the mass that brings vases with spikes and bunches to the chapel of the Immaculate. And on Fridays when the Mass of 10 am ends, the lights go out and the central square of the altar rises and the image of Christ is seen.

It's my privilege to have an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues at UPV and document this significant historic heritage structure. I was so amazed by the details and complexity of the architecture, and even more so by the construction methods implemented to build this building 500 years ago.

Amazing artwork! We were surprised by all the great work that was available such as 'the kiss of judas' by Caravaggio.

I really can't convey in words just how magnificent the architecture of this building is.

We arrived at 17:07, and had just enough time to see the opening hours 17-19h on the panel inside before the door was closed in front of our nose without any explanation

It is a scam, don’t visit and also don’t anyone convict you to go there. They said all pieces are original but they are copies and not even too historical. Also scary door keeper and no student reductions.
