It is a beautiful garden with a lot of plants and wonderful trees, but it needs more care. It contains a large variety of aromatic and medicinal plants, a collection of palms and cactus. The tickets are not too expensive, they are 3 euro for adults and 1.5 euro for kids.

We stumbled across this hidden gem. At about the same price as a drink, three euros entrance it was not to be missed. The whole garden has an ambience about it, I'm not sure if it's allowed, but on my next visit, if I'm allowed I'm going to take some snacks and make an afternoon of it. In my opinion it would be a shame to rush tour it. There are lots of plaques as well in English explaining the plants and the history of the botanists who aided and advanced the properties and benefits of many herbs and plants for medicinal purposes. I'm going again next week with some sandwiches and then meditate in the ambience. If you have found this of any help please push on the like button. Thank you.

I would call this place a hidden gem. So beautiful, quiet and wonderful. Perfect place to spend time getting immersed into the nature. General entrance fee is 2.50 euros. Tip: there are a lot of mosquitoes and flies so get yourself prepared with protective creams and sprays. Pro tip: Students, when they present their status, can get discounts.

A quiet refuge adjacent to the historic center of Valencia. You'll find a wide variety of plants and trees, plenty of benches to rest on, lots of shade. It's a real pleasant place to take a walk or just relax. It only costs 2€ or nothing if you're retired. You can leave and reenter with your ticket. I think there is a student discount too. There are some pretty interesting bromeliads in greenhouses. You'll also find an amazing collection of cacti and desert palms towards the rear right quadrant. If you look closely there's also quite a few small animals plus many birds living there. Highly recommended.

Fun botanical garden to spend a couple hours in, plenty of shade and sunny spots, indoor greenhouses and outdoor plants. They could do better with the upkeep but still highly worth going to.

An amazing place with lots of plants and flowers to see. The greenhouse in the middle of the garden is the best from there. It's so calming. You can also see some cats there

Incredible place! All the plants have their scientific name. They have exhibitions of photos, several greenhouses containing plants from around the world. Very relaxing to walk around, rest, hear the birds chirping and the water from the fountains running. Great place to meditate in the middle of the city. Absolutely gorgeous Botanical Garden

Had a discount entry because we have carnet joven but even so I wouldn't come back, place very neglected, plants dying, full of spiderwebs and needs renovation. I wouldn't buy full price ticket to come nor discounted. Definitely free parks that are more beautiful to see in spain. Only perk is that we saw 3 cats inside 🐈.

A very calm and serene stop during the stay in Valencia, it is quite easy to spend a few hours here admiring the vast array of plants in the enclosure. There are benches aplenty for an area to sit and take in the views and there are also public restrooms at the entrance. Some maintenance is required for some of the plants but otherwise a beautiful location.

This is one of those unexpected gems that one would find in Valencia. We visit quite last minute but still enjoyed our tour. I personally enjoyed the cactus area. It’s the first time I’ve seen such arrangement. I would definitely come back and spend more time than the last. The general ticket is 2.50€ but I was able to get a student discounted rate which is 1.50€.

It's a great place, you should definitely visit this place, especially if you like plants, silence and greenery. The entrance fee is also very affordable. They give a discount if you show your student card. Inside, you can see various plants accompanied by bird sounds. An amazing environment.

This garden from the University of València is such a nice and peaceful place. The entrance is 2,5 € per person but you can use the ticket for the whole day. At the entrance you can scan a card 8f the whole park. There are clean toilets in the park and some cats. On my opinion you should visit this place to come down and enjoy some quiet hours.

This was one of the most enjoyable areas I visited on my two weeks in Spain. It was relaxing yet right in the heart of a busy city. I could have spent more time here and if I had been by myself I would have. An hour of walking the area was enough for my travel companion. But I'd recommend coming and sitting in the shade on one of the many benches to rest your feet after a long day of touring.

2,50€ for this beautiful garden? I couldn’t believe it! Really nice and perfect during hot afternoons! Just one thing before to go: there is a lot of mosquitoes, so bring your repellent! ;)

This is a hidden gem of tranquility. A place of piece in a city destination. In its present location for 2hundred years its well established. Only €3 and you can get a hand set to give commentary in English.

Definitely worth visiting, close to the city centre but you can chill around nature, including birds and cats.

Beautiful place with lots to see, hear and feel. Many plants, and birds that get attracted by the garden, and benches so you can relax a little bit. There are a lot of cats in there, but they didn't come to us and doesn't look like they want to be petted. Cheap (~3€) ticket. Pets (dogs, cats, ...) are not allowed in there. As an exception, a friendly employee agreed to let me take my small dog in if it was always on my lap. This is a good family program, great to take kids. I don't recommend going with a pet or you may not get inside or have to carry it all the way if they allow.

One of the most beautiful gardens I have ever visited. Huge diversity and lots of calm spaces for reflection. The Shade House is a perfect place to take time-out.

Entrante 2€. Nice place with a lot of 🪴 and 🌳. Nice to bring kids. There are a lot of cats so keep attention your dog. The place requires at least 30minutes for a fast visit.

Very nice, fairly large botanical garden with many interesting species of plants from all over the world. some greenhouses as well. I especially liked their collection of Tillandsias and the cactuses, many of which were old, big specimens flowering abundantly. Only a few euros entry fee.

This is a lovely garden to stroll around. Situated in the city centre, it's a wonderful oasis of green within a stone and concrete jungle. It has several sections, fruit and veg, medicinal plants, cacti etc....... all of which looked great. We visited in March so it wasn't at it's most colourful. It was a lovely relief from the hustle and bussle of the city, well worth a visit. It's also a very cheap attraction, especially if you have the Valencia Tourist Card.

Listed in April 2023 and we thought it was great! Helps if your into plants of course, but if you are even slightly its worth a trip. We live somewhere more tropical, so seeing the varieties of cactus were really amazing, but that's not tp say its all arid type of plants, a nice variety.

Very nice walk. All plants already not blooming but its worth 3 euros for a nice walk. Theres 3 cats inside that lets you pet them and they are so cute. There couple buildings with ponds and small galery

This garden is from the university of valencia. The entrance is 3 euros and for student it’s just 1.5 euro. Very nice garden, beautiful maintained. It’s like 3-4 mins walk from the quartz tower. If you like to know about plants and all. It’s really very nice place to visit, walk and sit around. I really liked the place.

I have had a wonderful nap on one of the benches here. A great place to chill and shelter away from the sun.

Larger than expected this was totally worth the 3 eur ticket price. Tickets can be used for the entire day so keep it if you have a hankering to come back. Quiet and beautifully designed there were lots of small moments for you to relax and decompress from the city. Lots of different birds were attracted there and there are cats that live in there too. Amazing place to relax, learn and get some cat cuddles.

A place, to say, at least worth visiting. For some people it might be boring and not interesting at all. However, from the other side, it can also be magical and just beautiful. In the heart of a big city, you can find peace when surrounded in astonishing flora. It was magical for me, also for a price of 1,5€ (I am a student) which is nothing compared to emotions I felt. Must see when in Valencia. 🌍❤️

Amazing botanical garden, affiliated with the university. Lots of different species, and beautiful lush greenery. 3 euro for adults, 1.5 euro for students. Fun afternoon activity, but I would only go if you haven't already explored the main park within Valencia (Turia Gardens, which I highly recommend getting a Valenbisi short term pass for 13.3 euro for a week, providing unlimited 30-minute rides through the city! Perfect for getting around!)

Lovely gardens. I would highly recommend coming here, even though there are no shortage of green areas in the city. Very peaceful, you can easily forget you're in the city centre! Entrance was €3. Alot of care goes into these gardens. There are plenty of cats which are fed by the organisation

Very calm and nice place with lots of space to walk around. Should be free for students tho :).

The Botanic Garden in Valencia is a nice park with plenty of different plants, shrubs, an herb garden, water elements and greenhouses. Besides the learning aspect, it is perfect as a tranquil place to get away from the bustling city. There are multiple areas with benches that are ideal to get some sun exposure. The entrance at the time I went there was 2.50 EUR. As other reviewers mentioned already, there are a ton of stray cats in the park which are quite tame and don’t mind some human interaction.

Botanic garden is pretty nice and isn’t expensive to visit. Still, it needs a lot of work to be done. It’s time for orchids to bloom but these ones looks to be surviving. Can’t say there are lots of rare plants but i would give a chance to this place one more time in summer. Loved the wall with lianas.
