The dioramas are a joy to behold, the individual scenes and pieces. Just pure wow. Then of course, the building in which the whole is housed is something to behold also. It's a gothic styled palace that was once home to the marquis de malferit.

This was an interesting little museum. I was expecting lines of lead soldiers from different regiments and battle scenes, they do have these but much more too. There were some more domestic scenes, fashion and religious leaders figures. The scenes are in glass cases and include alexander the great, Romans, lots of Spanish regiments through the years up to the 1970s. There were certainly mostly men and boys there but if you have an interest in history you should find it worth an hour or so. It's 8 euros which seems expensive, but it's good to support these specialist museums.
