Wow, the work put into this place is beyond phenomenal. I wish them all the success. Run by, I understand, a group of private individuals, this entire place is an impressive body of work and labour of love. I have no idea of the quantity of models there are here, but it's a lot! The dioramas are a joy to behold, the individual scenes and pieces. Just pure wow. Then of course, the building in which the whole is housed is something to behold also. It's a gothic styled palace that was once home to the marquis de malferit.

A museum like no other and not what you might expect. This is like a child's dream come true, the most incredible collection of (I mustn't say toy soldiers) models and dioramas. It's fascinating in a bizarre way.

Accidentally stumbled on this museum, looking for Musea de prehistorica and so glad I did. As a classist, the models of historical incidents and landmark moments brings the ancient world to life. The artist most certainly indulged himself with some figures (death of Seneca, for example), but all the best to them! I hope there is one in London soon, as it would awaken the imagination of school children and students and bring history to life. Loved it!

Old...not well explaind in english...mabe just if you are obssesd with soldiers ... do not recomend it...they need to make some improvements ...it was like we went back in time 30 years ago ... They could look nice because they have a lot of nice things if you know some history and you want to see them but they really need to change the scenary.

Incredible attention to detail and impressive to see. Major focus on war and conflict which is not of interest to all. Some very dated depictions of ethnic minorities and women.

The largest collection of historical miniatures in the world housed in a 15th Century palace. L'Iber, Museo de los Soldaditos de Plomo is an impressive museum in the center of the city where History and heritage meet as well as one of the cultural life centers of Valencia. Both children and adults will enjoy an unforgettable journey through History throughout their halls.

If you like model soldiers, or Spanish history, or just something really different, this is a great little museum. Models from prehistory to recent history, and so many - one battle sene alone has 4500 pieces!!! But as well there are weddings and funerals, christenings and treaty-signings: well worth a visit!

(Translated by Google) My 13 year old son and I loved this museum. The first thing that attracts attention is the building itself, since it is an old palace that preserves the air of another time. The exhibition is incredible, it has more than 90,000 pieces. There are several dioramas that represent battles and non-war scenes from different periods of history and many figures in military formation, in short, if you are in Valencia, spend an hour visiting this site, it sure surprises you.

(Translated by Google) How funny please. For me, lead soldiers take a special look for my father, a great fan. It's back to childhood, more of my dad than mine. It is very beautiful, although sometimes it is difficult to see an older person. But hey, the thing is that the chuquillos enjoy it well. (Original) Que gracioso por favor. When I tried to enter, one of the employees at the entrance told me that there is only one little showcase area, but then I went on google maps and saw lots of photos I didn't get told about. After that I went back, then showed the employees from the entrance the photos, and they told me that the museum was closing soon, even though the first time I entered I saw them let in other people in the museum. I do not recommend going to this museum because the employees are very rude and try scam you.

This was an interesting little museum. I was expecting lines of lead soldiers from different regiments and battle scenes, they do have these but much more too. There were some more domestic scenes, fashion and religious leaders figures. The scenes are in glass cases and include alexander the great, Romans, lots of Spanish regiments through the years up to the 1970s. There were certainly mostly men and boys there but if you have an interest in history you should find it worth an hour or so. It's 8 euros which seems expensive, but it's good to support these specialist museums.

If you like military history you will enjoy this exhibition. When I went on a sunday I was the only person in the building. Many expansive dioramas depicting battles and processions throughout history. The last room has dozens of small dioramas that are kind of fun and there is a room dedicated to the first and second world wars with a great display of Plastic tank models from Tamiya, quite interesting if you like toys and dioramas but the price of admission for an adult is a bit high at 8 euros.

Yes. They had me at a collection of 95,000 toy soldiers. The museum is honestly a little dumpy and underwhelming. It seems more a labor of love than a true museum. And while it is a bit rough around the edges, the presentation of these toy soldiers as they fantastically recreate many of history's great battles makes it hard to look away. I like my history, and I never heard of half of the battles recreated here. The soldiers themselves are tiny works of art. 95,000 tiny works of art. Wow. Budget about an hour. It won't hold the attention of most kids. But what a treat for the grownups.

Quite an astonishing collection of tin soldiers and other characters. Kids got a bit bored of the battle scenes, but some of the smaller installations were more interesting. They particularly liked the cartoon characters and more modern figures, but they are just a small part of the collection. Nonetheless, they enjoyed the visit. Only drawback: The kids wanted a small tin figure as a memory, but the shop items available were very expensive and not quite pocket money territory.
