My family and I went skiing and this was our first time and after extensive research, we went with Keystone Resort. We chose this because we have two children and wanted to go somewhere that was kid friendly. The resort itself was super clean, the staff was very friendly. We stayed at the bottom of the ski resort and where we were was walking distance to a bunch of places to eat and shop. Based on a scale of 10, where 10 is the best, I’d rank the cleanliness of where we stayed a 10, the views a 10, the convenience of everything being around us also a 10. Basically, I couldn’t have a better time and would definitely book another skiing trip here.

The perfect spot for a ski and snowboard spring break. We were here at the end of March and the skiing conditions were great. There is terrain for every ability. You can ski all day and not cover every trail. We didn't have to wait in any lines for lifts. The surrounding mountain scenery is beautiful! We will be back.

I love Keystone so much. This is the resort you come to for the laid back, more chill vibes compared to the others. Vail is bougie, Breck has everything, and Keystone is chill. Amazing terrain that unfolds as you go deeper into the resort. The place is unassuming and surprises you with how big it is. Pro tip: Don’t forget to check out my favorite runs, Mozart and Wild Irishman 😎🤙

We had a great time skiing and snowboarding! There was food at the top of the mountain. We took a gondola up and there were lots of ski lifts. I don’t recommend the epic pass though unless you live by here. So many issues with that!

I've riden Keystone about 30 times this 2021-2022 season, with a lot of bad snow, good snow. Early season riding and the these finals days of the season, absolutely worth it every step of the way. The runs for the most part are of good quality, with good variety of all level of terrain. Vail resorts had a tough year with staffing and snow management but in all honesty it really wasn't that bad here at Keystone. It's about an 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Denver which is good if you left at a decent time. Hard to beat that commute. My only complaint would have to be the Terrain park, it was my first season trying park on skis and I felt a little uneasy on progressing from "easy street" to "the alley". There was very little that help you make that step to the bigger features, went from very small features to intermediate features. Lots of the tubes or rails were set high which was not welcoming for a newer park rider. I think if they had a better progression from beginner to intermediate features the park would be a lot more enjoyable.

We chose Keystone 6 years ago because it was voted #1 ski resort for kids. Since we had three we went for it. Could not have been better. The ski school is great and the kids love it. There is plenty to do and see off and around the mountain. People and happy and friendly and interesting. Hope to be back for many years to come. Highly recommend using the epic pass for discounts and the Epic mix app for tracking your activity. Super cool to see how much you can ski in a day!

Stopped at Keystone during our resort hopping. The resort itself is not as big as Vail or Breckenbridge but it has a good variety of trails for any skill type. The resort village itself is on the smaller side but still offers a good selection of food and shopping.

I’ve been skiing Keystone since the 80s. It has always been the go to resort. It’s not as fancy and as big as some more popular resorts but it’s right sized and easy to access. Close to Denver and free parking! Plus they opened up a brand new bowl area!

This is still one of my favorite mountains despite the problems they have been having the past couple years. The runs are super long and it’s relatively easy to get around the mountain. It’s really too bad the new lift they wanted to put it got pushed back. They say it will go in for next season. I think that would have helped with the lift lines on the weekend. The main lot can get parked out quickly on weekends. If you have 4 people in your car they will still let you into the main free lot. Because of the new condos they took away almost all the old paid lots.

Fantastic place for all skill levels. Some of the best blue and black runs for learning to get better. I'll be coming back here to get better with moguls since they have some less steep runs with moguls allowing you to work on your form and learn. Lots of "easier" blacks for you to get your feet wet on.

Always enjoy my experience here. From parking to shops and restaurants, everything is a short walk from the slopes. The staff is always friendly and the runs are well-maintained. Favorite part about Keystone is the bowls. The hikes are grueling at times, especially with wind, but worth the gnar pow at the top. Enjoy the live music at the lift and the night skiing.

This is a family-friendly resort and, from our experience, not nearly as busy as Copper. We've appreciated the opportunity the free local K-5 Epic passes have provided for our kids to begin their adventures and build confidence on the slopes. Sun or snow, the last two seasons here have been very good.

Great ski resort! Green trails are easy and beautiful! There is a free bus from one ski lift to another, nice cafes with mountain views, a ski school for children, where we sent our child, there are huge free parking lots not far from the ski lift, Many hotels within walking distance. We will be visiting regularly and would recommend to anyone!

Our family greatly enjoyed the snow sledding during July at the top of the mountain! Taking the ski loft up to the top was a trip in the summer as opposed to the winter. All four of us, adults and kids loved the sledding. They let you do some silly things while keeping you safe. View from the restaurant up top was world class! Staff were all incredibly friendly. But pricy… but it’s a Major Ski Resort, whatcha gonna do?

A BIG negative!!! There aren’t any running trails. All of their trails are dedicated to downhill mtb- there’s a 2 mile loop at the top you can hike but you have to pay $44 for the gondola ride up. It is worth it, but not if you are coming to run on mountains. I’ll also say our condo was great, with a great pool and keystone activities for families were awesome! We loved the quick walk to the best gluten/dairy free pizza we’ve ever had- pizza on the run. Overall a great family getaway!

One of my most visited mountains. It does get a bit crowded sometimes, but the variety of terrain is great, even more so once the new lift opens. Usually one of the first to open with a long run, and their extensive snowmaking system keeps it in good shape.

If you're not a somewhat pro skier, this mountain may not be the best for you! The slopes are great but its from the top of the mountain to the bottom without stopping. Wouldn't recommend for beginners, but overall it was still great for seasoned skiers.

I went there to do a ski class. It was good, but they don't give much information prior to the class. I didn't receive any email or instructions of where to go. And it was hard to find someone to point me where to go. If i didn't arrive there way in advance, i would have probably lost part of the class.

Fun ski resort to visit. The village has some cool places (tap houses, breweries), although it needs more vegan options. The resort has some really chill runs for beginners, and a lot of slopes to spread out the traffic. The night snowboarding here is totally awesome. I will come back for it again and again (I hope they add more night runs over time).

in regards to the Epic pass, I like this resort. best. It's much better than Breckenridge in my opinion because it's less crowded and you can actually park. Love the gondola! Back county and amazing views from the top, with two lodges on two peaks. It would be nice if they staffed them better with more food/drink choices.

I came here last winter, Jan. 2023, for the first time and had a great time. We stayed at a condo at the resort with a heated pool and loved spending nights drinking and eating pizza, getting crepes, and browsing the gift stores. The ski rental service was also super helpful. It was my first time skiing and the rental guy brought the gear to the lobby and helped size me and teach me a few tricks on making the boots comfortable. I really like how family friendly keystone is, it’s great for beginners.

There are plenty of choices for skiing in Colorado but we choose this location for the convenience. The mountain has a great variety of skill levels and good restaurants around. We enjoy the blue runs on the back side and you also can avoid the lines. In the next few years they will be adding on to the resort with more restaurants and hotel and condos that will make it even better.

Love this resort. Doesn't have a lot of night activities but it's beautiful has great lifts. Lots of good beginner options. Loved staying at the buffalo lodge. Made it very convenient. Enjoyed a lesson and was happy with it.

We got there in the evening and other people were also still checking in so we had to wait our turn. The guy that checked us in was friendly and helpful but he forgot to give us our Adventure Pass, which should be included for guests staying 2 or more nights. I guess it's okay since we ended not skiing though it would've given some discounts. The 2 bedroom we got was awesome! It was very clean, spacious and had all we needed. It was near the entrance/elevator too so it was easy to lug our stuff in and out. Nice size pool but pretty busy in the evening, especially the hot tub. We enjoyed the Gondola rides to the mountain and taking pictures up there. Too bad the snow fort was closed at the time so we didn't get to see it. The food costs in the food court up in the mountain is pretty expensive though - imagine $5 for a bottle of water! Then again, it is a skiing resort so I guess I should not be surprised. All in all, it was a nice resort, but most activities will cost you extra money, same with food. I suggest bringing your own food to cook, plus there's nowhere to eat after 9pm anyway (one nearby bar but nowhere to park). If you're there for skiing, this is probably a great place to stay. If you're only there for the day, be there super early, parking by the skiing/tubing/gondola area is super packed!

We rented a place in Frisco and went to Keystone for a day trip and I really enjoyed the mountain. The mountain was well groomed and conditions were great except THE OTHER SIDE was opposite. 1 run and done for me, went back to the sunny side. There was a nice variety of bars&restaurants. I loved the outdoor fire pit, it is a great resort, well put together and very welcoming.
