We had already been seated for more than an hour, my date was wearing a ball cap. A large group came in and out of nowhere he was politely asked to remove his hat. Minutes later an elderly gentleman came in wearing a hat sat right next to us and was allowed to leave the hat on. It was like the adult version of going in to a 7-11 and being asked to put your back pack at the counter. Our money is just as good as anyone else’s. The food and drinks were wonderful. Management came to speak to us. We were not at all impressed. As a COS native and local business owner supporting an event that night, this was a gross experience.

Phenomenal restaurant, wine selection and menu, been here several times. Many of their staff are sommeliers as well. Delicious cocktails as well as 3 different very creative mocktails, ask for Dennis and Megan. Ceviche trio and veal chop are awesome!

Charred octopus was tough. Mussels were great. Rice & beans for duck was a poor choice & seemed to be from Uncle Bens. The sauce for the halibut was overpowering while the grits were excellent. The olive oil pastry was outstanding & very European. Overall quite a few weaknesses for the researched standing.

We had a lovely dinner at the Summit restaurant last night. We took advantage of the shuttle to the restaurant from the West building. We spent a few minutes in the lounge/bar area, waiting for our table to be ready. The bartender was quick to check on us to see if we wanted anything while we were waiting. As we got to our table, we checked the extensive wine/drink list; it is impressive! We ordered drinks and our main course, which ended up tasting fantastic. The service was great, on theme with the rest of the Broadmoor.

This place was overpriced, overhyped. If you don’t have a reservation they say they’re overbooked yet have tons of seating. Sat at the bar and had 3 drinks and 3 different meals. McDonald’s would’ve been better. Meals seemed to be from HelloFresh. Laughable establishment. Not 5 star.

Always recommend the Summit to anyone visiting Colorado Springs and more specifically, The Broadmoor. Excellent service here. Everyone on staff has the best interest in helping you have a great experience. The food is great and what you would expect from a dining experience like this. My girlfriend and I celebrated a five-year anniversary recently and we went to the Summit since we’ve always had a great time there. We were full from our delicious meals and declined dessert, but our awesome server, Volt, insisted we not leave without a wonderful, custom anniversary dessert that was on him. We couldn’t believe it and were blown away by his kindness and generosity. The Summit at The Broadmoor has a forever customer.

Butternut squash soup was delicious. The ceviche sampler was tasty but literally one bite per person for $28. The duck was decent but a bit tough. The rice and beans that come with it were only saved by the delicious mole sauce. The halibut mixed with the mix of seafood soup was a nice combo. The passion fruit crème brûlée was a tasty light dessert to top it all off. The service from our waiter Andy was great the whole time ! The food overall was good but not blown away enough for a $100/pp meal. Pro tip: free dessert for special occasions ;)

An amazing restaurant at the Broadmoor property. The ambience is upscale, elegance pricing commensurate, the staff and service, the epitome of perfection the food tantalizing to the palate presentation of the dishes look like edible art left your mouth begging for more every bite the steak with Foie gras was amazing like it was like food dancing on your tongue I absolutely loved this place the warm ricotta gnocchi was crazy delicious like none I’ve ever experienced before… followed by the coffee, chocolate mousse cake divine

Wait staff were absolutely amazing. Jessica was super friendly and suggested an excellent Halibut dish. So good! Wild mushroom pot pie and Wagyu skewers we're on point! Staff also treated us to a Chantilly cake for our proposal anniversary. We had an amazing time.

Excellent experience. My better half had the roasted salmon and I the monk fish with lobster. The sides were delicious and the dessert chocolate sphere was great. The chef and cooks take the upmost pride in food preparations and presentation. Our server, Gerardo R. was good, he knew the menu and kept checking on us the whole time. We will be coming back.

My boyfriend and I have been going here for years - we decided to have a late Valentine’s Day dinner here last night. The food is so decadent and nothing is overly seasoned/spiced. The staff always makes sure to go the extra mile to make your table feel special! The one thing is that our dinner ended up taking over three hours doing the six-course chef sampler (8:30 pm reservation and left at 11:30 pm). All the food is made fresh, adjusted by season fruits/vegetables, and any dietary restrictions! They certainly made our Valentine’s Day special! We just weren’t anticipating dinner lasting so long and us getting home so late. Be sure to enjoy this restaurant with no kind of time sensitive plans after the fact because you will be exhausted from all the wonderful food after! Otherwise, we will definitely return again!

I haven’t done fine dining before. But this place was pretty legit! Made us feel so fancy celebrating our wedding day. Shout out to Nora for all of the great recommendations and absolutely topping off the experience with her kindness and great customer service! If you get Nora as your server, you will have a great time!

Superb dining experience. Top grade food, ambiance and service. It felt a little gauche to pull out my phone and snap a picture, after all they had just taken away the cowboy hat from my Wyoming guests because “hats were not (understandably) allowed”, so I didn’t want to risk my phone also!

Great place for an exquisite dining experience at the Broadmoor. Our table of 6 all had fish; Salmon, Halibut and Snapper. Well prepared, nice southwest presentation and fantastic service. We did have an appetizer, cocktails and dessert. They did add a 20% service charge which I expected. $610 all in.

Dinning at the Summit was a truly decadent experience. Lorraine, my waitress, recommended the Olathe Sweet Corn & Lobster Chowder. Rich, flavorful, and wonderfully prepared; her recommendation was perfect for this chilly evening. And what better way to end your evening than with a Chocolate Sphere of melt in your mouth explosion of chocolate. This chocolate lover was in heaven. Lorraine was wonderfully attentive, exceptionally knowledgeable, and created a truly memorable evening. I highly recommend adding this as a must stop at the Broadmoor.

Came here. Half the tables were empty yet we were told we can only seat at the bar. The food is overpriced $18-$24 for an appetizer! But the appetizer was decent hence giving 2 stars. Service is terrible! Broadmoor service we are used to has gone downhill…..Just wow!

Dined here with some friends last night and had a solid 4-star experience. Overall, it was a positive and delightful dinner with some very delicious food. We hung out at the bar for a few minutes while we waited for the rest of our party and table to be ready, and the bartender was super friendly and gave us his undivided attention while we perused the drink menu and asked questions. Our server was also very friendly and made us feel welcome in giving us recommendations and talking us through the menu. We all enjoyed the creative flavors of the dishes we ordered and savored every bite. The only reason I withheld the 5th star is that as the night got busier, we received less frequent attention and had some periods where our water and wine for empty for extended periods of time. Would have been nice if the staff was a bit more attentive to this. Overall I’d totally dine here again and I’m excited to try some other menu items!

Summit Restaurant is a contemporary cuisine restaurant located across the street from the iconic Broadmoor Hotel. Operated by the Broadmoor, it features very cool decor, an elevated menu with extensive seasonal offerings, top notch cocktails, an impressive wireless and excellent service. We used to come frequently before thr pandemic and they were closed for an extended time. This was our first visit in 2+ years. For appetizers we had the Colorado Asparagus soup and the Summit Caesar. For entrees, we ordered the Wagyu Skewers and the Lamb. All of these were perfectly prepared and delicious. The star of the show was the chocolate dessert. Beautiful presentation as the chocolate "bomb" melted into a beautiful and amazing chocolate dream. A great evening! We were sad, however, that our all-time favorite Hanger Steak with Broadmoor fries is no longer on thr menu. We shed some tears over that 😪 After our fabulous dinner, we took a relaxed stroll around the hotel lake. Bliss 😊

Coat check..5*,was given a booth by the cold door and there were only 4 dining tables as we arrived at 5:45 pm. My host and I did like or want to sit at a table we did not like because it was closest to the door. Substandard seating in the restaurant isn’t what makes the Summit. Good food and service makes the restaurant. Th rest of the evening was perfect..
