One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at and an incredible view of the Andes from the upstairs/rooftop area. Staff was so friendly, they have a really safe system for coming and going, and it's a convenient location right next to the El Centro cable car stop.

This hostel is as I wish more hostels were: clean, quirky, creative and beautiful service. It might be a bit too quiet for youngsters, or especially a wonderful welcome relief from the busyness of other hostels! The kitchen is equipped with literally *everything*, even a toaster, blender etc. They have a cute little room where you can listen to vintage Colombian records. And a rooftop terrace with amazing views of the city. Maria is so sweet, attending to any questions, making you feel welcome and leaving you wanting to return.

After several months in South America this is far and away the best hostel I have stayed in. Actually, it’s the best one I’ve seen outside South America as well. It hits all the sweet spots: super friendly staff, incredible view, located in a super convenient part of town right at the last cable car stop. Love the decorating and the rooftop terrace. Tons of personality.

A very nice place te stay. Friendly staff, tastefully decorated with findings from all over the world, a really nice roof terrace and a lovely hot shower. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Close to the historic center, but still far enough to not be caught up in the hustle. Great views and a block away from the cable car station.

A truly lovely hostel with exceptional showers and a whole host of services. A very helpful couple run the place and keep it extraordinarily clean and tidy.

Nice historic home, clean, relaxed right near the metro cable coming from the bus terminal in the edge of downtown. Incredible views of the mountains.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, they opened for us on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Hostel was clean, had a great view and nice rooms.

Excellent. What you wish for when traveling is to have someone to treat you with warm and kindness which is exactly what Maria does. The decorations and the ambience are outstanding, and the rooftop vista has a fantastic view. Very centrally located. Great hostel.

Actually this place is really great. I arrived after midnight in March and the gentleman who owns the place let me in without fuss. He and his wife seem to run the home and they called me by by name at every meeting. The place is cozy, quiet, unique, friendly, and the mirador is easily one of the best views in Manizales. They only speak Spanish but are very friendly. I haven’t forgotten my 3 day stay.
