Lots of love for coffee here! I had a blast talking for hours about coffee; from cultivation to processing to tasting, we covered it all. The coffee we tasted was a fine selection of local coffee, some of it produced on site, and surprisingly diverse. Even better, we had a great conversation about it and I felt like I was met with genuine interest. All the best to the whole family and their business. I hope to visit the finca soon again.

Great tour of coffee. They show you the whole process from farm to the drink. The best part was drinking coffee of different methods. Tasted like 7 different methods. The staff was friendly and informative. It's also a great view of Pereira and only $3 taxi ride.

I couldn't recommend the tour at Don Manolo's more highly. Pamela is an outstanding guide, familiar with all the details of the coffee production process, from the tree to the cup. And she is able to explain it exceedingly well in English. All steps of the production process (with its many variations) were explained and I was able to watch Manolito roast a batch of coffee, which helped me understand how delicate that step of the process is. It's beautiful to see how Don Manolo who was previously a small coffee farmer (selling beans to a cooperatives) now gets his own roasted specialty coffee to the consumer. More of the value is captured at the source and the coffee tastes better!

A great experience where you fully understand coffee thanks to Pamela and her staff, as well as feel, taste, and journey back in time to the pickers, to people who know and love the best coffee in the world. The best experience can surely be having the finest and learning what creates the most special beverage in the world.

I have been travelling through South America for 4 weeks and today's two hours with Pamilia were very impressive. It is great to see the passion and perfection with which the family runs the coffee production. In a short time, you learn a lot about the entire process, including coffee tasting. Try to book the tour directly with her to support the locals. Thank you very much for this great experience!

We had an unforgettable and unique experience at Don Manolo. We made the reservation for our tour the evening before. When we arrived with the taxi our guide was already waiting for us. We had a private tour just the two of us. It was very informative. We learned so much about the process of coffee production. We saw the plants, all the production machines and could even taste some coffee in the end. We redommend it to everyone staying in Pereira.

My girlfriend and I visited this lovely little farm. Pamela was our guide and we learned a lot about coffee, the fruit, the beans, why Colombian coffee is special, how coffee used to be produced, how the new specialty farms like Don Manolo embraces the entire process from seedling to roast. Amazing and insightful is what is was. If you are a coffee lover and in the area there is no excuse not to visit. Highly recommend.

Our family had a wonderful and educational tour learning all about coffee, how it’s grown, processed and prepared. Pamilia gave us the tour in English and it was unforgettable. I’ll never buy or drink coffee again without thinking about what I learned. Definitely recommended by all of us.

Pretty cool little tour of a micro coffee farm. If you have a few hours to come and want to learn about the coffee process I’d recommend it.

The best coffee tour I can imagine! We were a rather small group with 6 people, so the whole experience was very personal and intimate. We learned so much during our visit, and definitely fell in love with slow coffee. And I really want to highlight the way we were taken care of - after our tour, the host offered us to try his home brew craft beer, we were so impressed by how delicious they tasted, wow! And later on we had difficult time to find a taxi, we waited like an hour and nobody took our request. Our host started to call people to see if anyone can take us back to the city center, but had no luck. In the end, our host drove us back to the city center where we can easily find a taxi, and he told the taxi driver where we are going, so we were able to get back to our hotel with no issue. This obviously isn’t something I would expect from any business as such. They were truly amazing people who love their family business and treat every visitor as their guest. This whole experience was the highlight of our trip in Colombia, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. All the best to this lovely business❤️

A place where you will learn everything about coffee but above all the human quality of its owners

Don Manuel and his family have welcomed them into an experience in which they get to know coffee and cocoa in an inexplicable and unbeatable way. Without a doubt, an experience that we recommend 100% plan during your visit to the Coffee Axis.

Don Manolo’s Cafe is an actual coffee farm in Dosquebradas up in the mountains with a spectacular view of the city and has tours to explain the history of coffee making. We were very fortunate to have Lina as our English-speaking tour guide, who gave an outstanding and detailed talk about how coffee preparation has changed from the beginning in Ethiopia to the present. We were introduced to a family who is ecologically -minded about coffee growing and preparation, which is progressive these days. During the tour, we were also treated to a family-prepared dish of Araza fruit sorbet with a coffee bean on top, which was delicious and refreshing and a piece of chocolate which paired beautifully with one of their coffees. We were given coffee prepared with three different brewing methods.Different tastes for different palates! The altitude here is conducive to growing arabica coffee beans, which is above 1000 meters and the only kind of beans that Colombia produces. A very well organized presentation and we had a great time and would highly recommend Don Manolo’s Cafe for a wonderful coffee experience!

What an unforgettable experience! I learned so much about the history of coffee as well as how it is grown and prepared. Pamela takes time to explain even the smallest details, making this a highly personalized tour. If you're in Pereira and have a few hours to spare, I would highly recommend this hidden gem. The brownies, smells and views are all out of this world, too.

This was a highlight of our trip to Colombia. Our tour was both informative and entertaining (covering the growing, fermentation, roasting, and economics of the coffee business). With the tasting included, it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Pamela!

😐 So, I’ve been twice. The service is wonderfully friendly and efficient. The joint is jumping; people are happy to be here. However, food and drink offerings have been mediocre at-best. Sigh. Perhaps I’m missing something. Will try one more time.
