Booked a ppd room through 3rd party travel site. After checkout, Hotel incorrectly charged my card for the room again. The acknowledged the error but will not issue credit, passing the buck and giving me a different line each time I call. Beware of this place. They feel no accountability!

This hotel location is probably one of the best in the area. Located down town by the river and easy to access. This hotel needs a lot of love the carpet is more than likely been around longer than I been alive. The photos online do not correlate with what you get. Old hotel that needs some serious love. Breakfast is served in a bag so be aware of this. You park underneath the hotel but the parking garage looks like you might get robbed. The beds were comfortable but room was just a little out of date. Definitely a place to stay if you are on a budget and want to stay down town but besides that hard to recommend for any other purpose.

This hotel is old and seems a little unkept. My pillows had hair on them and the white pillow cases were turning yellow. Bedspread was thin with no extra laundry available in the room. The bathroom was nasty and no breakfast available when told there was. Would NOT recommend.

11/06/22 9:30am ..$149 a night one king you get what you pay for cracked up toilet seat crooked bathroom counter paint falling off ceiling in room 20 year old little coffee maker was broken in the morning asked about continental breakfast they advertise was told we have a grab and go whatever that is no coffee in the lobby offered us packets of coffee. I said our coffee maker doesn’t work I had told him that earlier. told them “ we’re out of here” tossed our room cards on the counter. my wife and I walked away. They had nothing to say so I said don’t bother asking us what room we are in don’t bother apologizing for the problems and the girl behind the counter said we should be the ones apologizing for treating her like that guy says yeah have a nice day I said, have a nice week as we walked to the elevator. BTW they have a huge central commons area with absolutely nothing in it except a big hot tub that is broken because they are “waiting for parts.“ at least the bedding was nice and the heat worked.😄

Fairly smooth check in process. Location was great with skyway access to the convention center next door where the concert we came for was held. The hotel is also in close proximity to lots of bars and restaurants. We got back from the concert and I went to take a shower and noticed black mold all over the shower seams and some by the ceiling. As it was already midnight, and apparently no one was manning the front desk when I went out to see about a different room, we all just went to bed. Also to be noted, the on-site lounge and restaurant are currently closed due to Covid and renovation, and the hot tub in the pool area is drained and closed for maintenance. The kids were not happy.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Don’t waste your money. This was a last minute trip to get together with a friend. I will start out by saying that I did’t pick out the hotel, a friend did. But as soon as I got into the lobby, I knew this place was going to be interesting and not in a good way. My friend was told over the phone that we would get rooms next to each other. We arrived there and did not accommodate us with that. My friend went and asked for pool towels because their was only 4 at the pool. She was told by the front desk person that there weren’t any more clean ones and that is how house keeping left it for him. The front desk person goes and gets a bunch of hand towels….. not kidding hand towels for us to dry off with. Got into our room…. Looked ok at first but noticed the chair was coming apart peeling and throughout our stay just started noticing more and more things wrong. The lamp shade was broken. The TV volume was going in and out. Though the front desk person did come look at it very quickly after me calling the phone desk multiple times due to the phone not connecting and or he couldn’t hear me. Looked in the bathroom and there was mold on the side of the tub and someone else’s hair was on the tub…. My assumption was the tub wasn’t cleaned after the last person that stayed. The vent next the the ceiling you could see on the ceiling the dust it had been blowing out. Not sure when’s the last time a vent and or filter has been changed/cleaned. Then the vent that was by the slide glass door is was completely off and there was an open hole in the wall!!!! Bed were a little hard. Carpet I am pretty sure has been there forever. Guess it is good that it was already brown in color. This is a very out dated not well kept place. I also feel like the pool once upon a time was outdoors and the built around it to make it an indoor pool. My daughter also informed me that there was a ton of hair in the filter at the 8 foot part of the pool. The hot tub was out of order and from reading reviews now after staying there looks like it has been out of order for awhile! Ice machine was broke on the first floor was told we had to go the second floor to get ice. Vending machines only took debit cards only and had drinks that were expired in them. Staff was somewhat helpful but I will never stay again!!! If I could I would post the pictures that I took of the place but this review doesn’t give you that option. Definitely not worth the $198 I spent for 1 night!!!!! I would like to get my money back.

We called and asked for a late checkout and they agreed. The day we were going to checkout, we were met with banging on our door not once but TWICE by housekeeping staff telling us we will be charged a late fee and that we need to leave (this was only 10-20mins after regular checkout time). Again, we called and asked for late checkout. After telling them this, they were extremely rude and said they didn’t have that written down and we had 10 minutes to get out of the hotel room. This type of behavior was unprofessional and the situation was handled very poorly. There were no apologies that they didn’t take note of our late checkout or anything. One housekeeper followed us all the way to the lobby to make sure we were leaving. We were not problematic guests or disrespectful back to them. It was ridiculous.

The location is convenient, so that helped this review a lot. However, the rooms surround the pool/community area. This area serves as an echo chamber for everyone in the rooms to hear your conversation. Don’t expect to go to bed before 12:00a if there’s people in there. The window also doesn’t have the ability to block out light and the curtain is see through. This hotel does not do it’s pictures justice.

Only giving two stars because check in was easy and staff were very helpful. Great location. Hotel is awful. Mold lining the bathtub and on the shower curtains. Bath towels with yellow spots and stains, as well as stained bedsheets. Tub was clogged and took forever to drain. Other people’s hair on the sink when we came in. Holes in the bathroom door, holes in the wall. One working outlet in the entire room. I don’t even feel comfortable laying under the comforter so I’ll be sleeping on top of it tonight. It is 100% worth paying the extra $20 to stay at the Hilton down the street.

I made reservations to stay at this place two months in advance. The day before we were to go there I received an email to do online check-in. I was not able to do the online check-in, it said unavailable. So the next day we went to shoot at the event center in a dart tournament. I called at 2 o’clock in the afternoon to see if I could check into my room between matches. They checked my name on the computer and said they were cleaning my two rooms. They would be ready in an hour or so, I could check in anytime after that. So we continued shooting our matches. As soon as we were done it was approximately 7 o’clock and they told me there were no rooms available. They told me they had my reservations but had no rooms to give me as they were overbooked. So apparently reservations do not mean anything. They offered to give us a room at a different motel 10 minutes away with no mode of transportation other than paying to get around throughout the night as we were all drinking already. And they were not willing to reimburse us or figure out a way for us to get around. We booked at this place because it was at the event we were at and all our friends we’re staying at this place also. I will never make reservations at this place again. We also noticed how dirty the place was and our friends also complained about it as well. We also heard and seen that the hot tub was not working and was drained. They also told me they were going to reimburse my money, and it is now two days later and I still have no reimbursement. We had to have someone come get us and take us home and give us a ride back the next day.

If I could show pictures I took I would. I would not recommend this hotel. First room I went into wasn’t even cleaned. Second room we thought was clean but hair was all over, sheets were dirty, comforter had stains. It looks like a dog had slept in the bed. Pretty sure this hotel is infested with bed bugs. Toilet was clogged and talked to the front manager they said they were going to fix it but no one came up. Then we were told the maintenance person doesn’t work weekends. So they left us with a clogged toilet.

I booked my room 2 months in advance through the hotel for a reunion. When I arrived I was told they had no rooms available and all other hotels in the area were booked and had nothing available. The location is perfect for being downtown but they don’t care about reservations and seems to be more first come, first serve. They blamed 3rd party booking but that should not be the customers problem when they book and reserve rooms through the hotel. Due to no other hotel accommodations, I had to drive 2 hours back home, missing the event.

On a positive note, the desk staff was good, and beds were clean and comfortable. But the hotel just clearly hasn't been invested in since it first opened. We stayed there over the weekend and our room had evident signs of water damage with peeling ceiling paint, the road and train noise was awful and constant throughout the night, and to top it all off, of course the hot tub was out of order. All in all, we paid far too much for this hotel. It honestly is closer to a Motel than anything. Price should of been $65 compared to the $189 we spent. Literally pick any other hotel in the area.

We celebrated my son's birthday here with out of town family. The pool area was amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The GM is amazing and was very friendly and accommodating to our needs! The pool side rooms were EXCELLENT if you had littles that wanted to swim the whole time. The rooms were clean and comfy. Last, but not least, the hot tub was huge and enjoyable.
