This park is small but is set up pretty nice. There's a wall of giant stone you could sit on and watch the river. There's even a big trail to ride along side the river. There's also a kids playground to play in.

When I was little my dad & I would go fishing from the bank of the river, I caught an 8 pound northern when I was 8 years old, so that in itself was very memorable to me. We found old bottles along the shore & even saw soft shell turtles. It was always a very special place. My dad passed away suddenly on May 10th, 2022. I was devastated but I made the decision to always honor him any way I could. I moved here to Mankato on March 23rd, 2023. I visit the river almost every day, all though the river is high right now with the spring snow thaw, I still sit on the bank, wander the trails, ride bike and write poetry and really embrace all the little things of spring time and Mankato. I have also met a very special man that has helped me in every way. I couldn't be more grateful. I will continue to add pictures from the park as it turns greener. Thank you

Great place for outdoor concerts. Playground is definitely sun faded and could use an update. There are in door bathrooms, a bike repair station, and a canoe / kayak launch for the MN River. Careful of the river is below 10 feet as the bottom of the ramp has been damaged.

I've been living in Kato for 4 1/2 yrs now and have never been to Riverfront Park. I happened to be downtown and saw that Front St. was closed off, and there were booths and people filling the street. Then I remembered that it was PRIDE Weekend and they were having a festival at the park. I decided to go down and see what was going on. It was a beautiful day--perfect for being in the park. They had room for food vendors and a ton of booths that wrapped all around their nicely cemented walkway that leads you in a giant circle-like path. They have a beautiful amphitheater. I was really impressed & kind of surprised that we had something like that. It's very nice. I picked up a cute handmade wooden picture box I guess you'd call it lol. It's made by a Mankato small business owner. I'll definitely be going back to the park more often.

Nice clean modern bathrooms. Beautiful view of the Blue Earth River. It's a great place to go bike riding, it is right on the Minnesota River Trail, which ties into the Sakatoah State Trail. It's also just of downtown.

I went to Mankato to see my son. We stopped at Riverfront Park to see the river. The river looked a little high, lots of snow melt. I'm glad that we went there.

Very cool outdoor Amphitheater, nice location, their Linea for food and drink moved smoothly. There about 5 food trucks, it was a great time, and I will be watching for music venues for 2024.

A great venue for concerts. Easy to find seating. The sound is great for an outdoor venue.

👍👍 The equipment is in great shape and there are things for large and small kids. I wish there were more benches. There are small kids stuff, big kids stuff, volleyball nets, and a half court basketball court.
