I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody traveling to Mannheim or who lives in Mannheim (and reads English) who wants to enjoy an elegant and tasty meal. The food is well worth the price and the blend of flavors and delicacies make your mouth yearn for more. The ambiance is quaint and charming the wait staff is professional and courteous. But mostly the food is simply exquisite.

It'd have been 5 star review from me. Food is great but be cautious there is no English menu. We do the Google Translate but even so we told the waitress who can speak well English. We specifically order a Course Menu which there is Lunch Course Menu. So my wife orders one Course and I ordered a different course. I even ask the waiter how much difference between 4 and 5 course without dessert, so the waitress is well aware that we order different Course set. But when the bill comes, my wife's course is correct but mine is a la carte order which ends up much more expensive than the course ordering. The restaurant explanation is my course set must order for 2 people but she did not explain anything not even when I ask between 4 and 5 course. In the bill, I have also found one extra item charged which I did not order. So she said it was a mistake and take that item off the bill. Ummm...... Food is good for 1 michelin star, service is good. But not very happy with no explanation of order 2 person same course where I have emphasize the 4 and 5 course price. What happen if we did not find the item we did not order then we will be overcharged.

Wonderful food (with local produce or from France etc - wherever best quality), super friendly service. Not an single element of a single course had any flaw. Intense beautiful flavours, lovely presentation, nice pacing, fair prices. No music (thank you!)

Perfect restaurant to celebrate a especial occasion. Every dish is a work of art and the lobster tartar is unforgettable. The attention to detail and service are also impeccable.

What can I say about this restaurant? Every year, when we visit Mannheim, we book a table for five. Every time the result is the same: we had the most spotless evening ever! Food: amazing. From amuse bouche to desert we enjoyed every course. The wine list is great. But the best thing at Dobler's is the service. You feel welcome from the start. They are so professional and still nice and relaxed (no star restaurant stiffness). We'll be back!

I went there for a saturday dinner with my wife and ordered the 4 course menu. The place is nice and neat, it feels like dining at your family's house by getting an exquisite service with a minimalist decor. Also kudos for their effort for a contactless service during Covid-19. The food was really good, i had no complaints on any of the dishes and some of them like the venison tasted really really good. The kitchen is also very generous; we had 3 different amuse-bouches. You can tell that it's a family place for people who have put their heart and soul into it.

Cozy place close located to Mannheim central station. We went to the Michelin Lunch for 150€ (with two additional a la carte orders) for two persons, which is an okay pricing. The service is distant, but attentative. Doblers serves french-german cusisine, highlight was an excellent foie gras, any dish with quality ingredients, good textures, but nothing surprising, just classic good food. In Mannheim, a good way to invite your grandmother or your parents when they are visiting you ;)

Stiff Michelin restaurant in the middle of Mannheim! The restaurant is placed in a beautiful building in Mannheim city center. Unfortunately, the insides are not as beautiful... White clean surfaces without any softening elements or color create a stiff atmosphere. The restaurant lack English menus and do not offer wine pairing (by glass). The Onsen-Ei dish was a home run, however, the rest did not create any enthusiasm around the table. Friendly staff, but we noticed the lack of attention our table received after our last dish. In comparison, the German speaking tables around us received attention and enthusiastic staff the whole evening. We ended up having to get the decanter ourselves to pour wine, since the staff didn't notice our empty glasses while walking past for 10 minutes... Not impressed. We had the 5-course evening menu (127 Euro) and 2 bottles of wine. 190 euro per person. Worth visiting the restaurant for tasting the Onsen-Ei, but nothing more. We would not come back.

If you are someone who appreciates fine food, then this place is a must try in the area. I had the 5 course and my girlfriend had the 4 course, so when there was an option between two dishes, we were able to order both and try everything on the tasting menu. I would say I was only disappointed in one of the dishes. All others were amazing. I about died and went to heaven when I tried the onsen egg with porcini and foie gras. The gifts from the kitchen were inventive and scintillating. The sirloin was the best I had ever had. My girlfriend's pasta dish was unlike anything I thought pasta could be. Even the bread was interesting. One of the three we were given was an anise bread. All in all a great experience and worth the price.

Food was really really good with very interesting combinations and flavors, especially the dessert. Service is also excelent. We had an awesome evening with friends.

Come here for special occasions usually. Enjoy the variety of wines.
