On Good Friday we had the opportunity to be pampered with culinary delights in the Fundament. At first I was a little afraid of the 4-course surprise fish menu, as I'm not a big fish eater myself. But what was delivered was great cinema. Everything was very well coordinated, innovative and delicious. I have rarely eaten fish so well. We were particularly impressed by the very friendly service that evening. Another word about the location: From the outside, the restaurant looks very inconspicuous - please don't be fooled, as the inside is really creatively designed.

The food was delicious and reasonable for the price. The table was sweetly set - appropriate for my birthday. However, the service deserves the point deduction. The meal took a very long time and our main course probably went to another table - that can happen! - however, the waitress emphasized so often that it took a long time, so much so that it became tiring - instead of emphasizing it even more, why don't you just give another greeting from the kitchen if you're hungry in between, or another glass Wine ;)

Beautiful presentation, great waiter, solid wine, creative food. But a fair few dishes missed the mark - they were going in the right direction and tasted good enough but could be improved (technically or flavour wise). Caveat - it was the first night with a new menu and we had a complicated order. Still glad we visited. I appreciated the experimental approach to modern cooking ! Give it a go :)

Very nice atmosphere and absolutely delicious food. Had a 4 course surprise menu with wine accompaniment. The courses were very tasty and unusual and the fillet was on point. The wine selection also left nothing to be desired. In the old vaulted cellar there is still a very cool bar and celebration location that can be rented for celebrations.

It was a Friday night and as usual there was no open reservation to my previous choices. So I decided to give this place a shot, I would say this was a great decision. The staff were very welcoming to me, extremely friendly and they all spoke English. Now, the food... It was a 3 course menu with a Wine pairing from the Pfalz region, all three courses paired phenomenal. What can I say, the experience and atmosphere was very warm. I would definitely recommend it. Keep in mind this is your average cost establishment, I would say this place falls in the fine dinning category.

The food was really excellent we will come back we did and again very excellent superb service we had to wait a while but the coffee was for free we call this service::: well done don’t 🛑

Excellent creative food and wonderful service. The chef provides a memorable and flavorful dining experience.

Excellent and creative cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The steak was better than in any steakhouse but the vegetarian starters were also very, very good.

Lunch portions are very small, nice presentation though.
