After
my
numerous
visits
to
this
Mannheim
jewel,
I
now
feel
it
is
my
duty
to
leave
a
review.
The
seasonal
menu
is
to
die
for.
As
the
chef
told
me
in
conversation,
all
the
ingredients
are
purchased
both
seasonally
and
locally
and
you
can
feel
this
freshness
in
every
bite.
Le
Langoustine
shines
with
a
natural
excellence
that
is
invariably
noticeable
in
the
staff.
As
already
mentioned
in
the
other
reviews,
reserving
tables
is
hardly
possible
and
is
only
possible
through
relationships.
But
what
else
can
you
expect
with
delicacies
like
tomato
crepes
with
a
Parma
ham
and
buffalo
mozzarella
filling?
(See
photo)
We
also
offer
cocktails
and
long
drinks
of
the
highest
quality
and
by
that
I
don't
just
mean
an
extensive
selection
of
gins
for
the
gin
and
tonic,
but
also
extensive
advice
from
the
head
bartender
that
is
unparalleled
in
Mannheim
and
throughout
Germany.
There
is
only
room
for
improvement
when
it
comes
to
the
wine
list.
Although
the
house
wine
is
excellent,
the
other
selection
could
be
more
extensive.
This
is
probably
due
to
the
limited
capacity
of
the
wine
cellar.
Finally,
I
can
say
that
despite
the
upscale
dress
code
that
prevails
here,
an
atmosphere
is
created
that
I
have
never
experienced
before.
You
almost
feel
like
you're
dining
with
old
college
friends.
