Worst experience in Mannheim here. We went for dinner set. The food was super salty and the service was very very slow. We waited for maybe 1 hour for our first starter to come and it was very cheap salad. The second dish was supposed to be hot dish but it came cold. The beef and chicken were extremely salty for me so we asked them to get us the fried rice earlier. It’s nothing but Japanese. The soy sauce rice was completely a joke - a lot of soy sauce poured over plain rice with tiny little bit of traces for eggs. We both had really bad food poisoning right after getting home. Definitely not worth the price we paid because we expected better quality of food

If i could rate it lower than one star, i would. Let me tell you about this restaurant. If you like being ignored, your drinks served to the wrong person, treated like a dog, given wrong items on the menu, wonder what is given in the menu and spending bookoo amounts of coin... then this is the restaurant for you. Oct 3rd, a day that will live in infamy. Heed my warning and save not only your pocketbook but dignity as well. The food was average at best. Most things not stocked on the menu. We ordered the deshima, and received not even the lobster crab as specified. Insult to injury, they put us in with a group of ten people, didn't serve us for an hour straight. Then told us we had to go in an hour when they eventually did serve us. Their is no hibachi grill show at all. The list can go on. Bottom line: sheer lack of professionalism, terrible service, and an overall bad experience to ruin the night for your date and you. You have been warned, and this grudge has been added to the book of grudges.

Pretty unpleasant. Low quality ingredients (fish, wasabi, salad, etc) carved terribly (more "hacked"), luke-warm beer, cold towel, etc. Inside Teriyaki area looks nice - outside terrace next to street

Very tasty Japanesse restaurant with fresh sea food and nice staff. We enjoyed the evening around the Asian grill. Good Treat!

5/5. Went for our anniversary. The staff was great. The food was amazing. The price was a little on the steep side. We didnt know what to expect when we went but were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered the fish iron menu. It was cooked perfectly. The theatrical part you would expect from state side hibachi is not what you will find here. This is more traditional and fancy. The staff was friendly and spoke english. If your looking for a nice night out with amazing food. This is your place. Highly recommend.

Amazing ambience and tasty food. We had ordered crab shushi, Gyuuniku no Robatayaki and teppanayaki. Food comes with miso soup and salad which is great and you get good value for money as well. Staff is very helpful and friendly.Overall 5/5 place and we are sure to visit it again

Interesting little traditional Japanese restaurant in the heart of Mannheim. We ordered two menus - fish and seafood- and everything was good seasoned and freshly made. Service was friendly and attentive. The traditional green Tee after the dinner was amazing. We will visit you again! :)

Very friendly and kind, very nice atmosphere, by far the best Japanese restaurant I've ever tried. Food is really of good quality and it's very fascinating to see the cook preparing your dish in front of you on the cooking surface. I tried the Dashima menu and the fish was all delicious. I also tried some beef from friend's Edo menu and it tasted also great. We've been very satisfied by quality and also quantity. We will definitely eat there again.

Not a bed place to eat, but better in a biggest group for the experience. For a quick lunch it's somewhat pricey for what you get, unless you can order a special.
