I
was
specifically
looking
forward
to
visiting
this
place
during
my
day
trip
to
Mannheim,
and
long
story
short
-
it
took
my
breath
away!
Out
of
this
world
experience!
I
had
a
feeling
someone
took
me
to
China
for
a
moment!
It
was
a
little
complicated
to
get
to
the
tea
house,
as
I
had
to
use
one
of
the
official
entrances
to
the
Luisenpark
and
currently
the
closest
one
is
at
the
base
of
Fernmeldeturm.
When
I
got
there
at
around
1
PM
the
place
was
fairly
empty,
only
a
couple
of
visitors,
however
an
hour
later
it
was
a
crowded
and
bustling
place.
Once
I
walked
around
the
tea
house
surrounded
by
a
pond
full
of
koi
carps
I
sat
down
for
a
little
refreshment.
They
offer
here
a
large
variety
of
tea
and
something
small
to
eat
-
Chinese
dumplings.
While
I
was
waiting
for
the
food
and
tea
I
enjoyed
listening
to
the
sounds
of
nearby
waterfalls
as
well
as
traditional
chinese
music,
the
atmosphere
in
the
secluded
yard
was
very
calming
and
relaxing!
Tea
is
served
as
in
China
-
tea
leaves
are
placed
in
a
cup
and
you
can
make
as
many
infusions
as
you
want.
I
got
a
beautiful
porcelain
cup
to
drink
from,
however
the
overall
impression
of
my
little
tea
ceremony
was
a
little
spoiled
by
having
a
plastic
kettle
with
boiling
water
next
to
my
cup.
The
tea
I
had
was
absolutely
delicious!
It
was
so
good
that
I
wanted
to
buy
some.
Luckily
the
majority
of
the
tea
offered
in
the
menu
are
for
sale
so
I
walked
away
with
a
bag
of
China
Jade
Jasmine
Pearls
tea!
Chinese
dumplings
were
exquisite,
especially
the
pork
ones!
I
would
not
mind
tasting
each
and
every
item
on
the
menu
next
time.
For
both
tea
and
dumplings
I
waited
less
than
10
minutes.
Unfortunately
we
had
a
little
misunderstanding
at
the
beginning
about
the
payment
options
as
I
didn’t
have
any
cash,
therefore
I
ended
up
wiring
the
money
to
their
account
(odd
and
unusual
but
it
worked).
The
service
was
very
nice
and
friendly,
spoke
some
English,
and
generally
tried
to
make
sure
my
experience
was
great!
Toilets
were
available
at
the
back
of
the
building
and
were
relatively
clean.
Once
I
finished
snacking
I
explored
the
tea
house
and
its
beautiful
and
well
maintained
gardens.
The
highlight
was
of
course
the
building
itself,
the
detailing
and
architecture
is
spectacular!
The
whole
place
is
very
photogenic
and
picturesque,
especially
at
the
entrance
from
the
moon
bridge!
Absolute
highlight
of
my
visit,
both
in
terms
of
food
and
sightseeing!
100%
recommended!
