A must visit in Mannheim. Climb the stairs of the tower to get an incredible view. When the fountain is turn on is delightful, on some evenings they turn on the lights.

A place where everyone gets together. Young and old. There was a nice wine tasting going on, some nice music was playing on the background. Nice place for an intermezzo after you did your shopping.

We walked thru, was really nice. They have story book stories with moving Figures that tell the story. Great for the whole family

During Christmas the place is magical, filled with fairy tales and activities for smaller children. Throughout the year the place feels abandoned. The water fountain doesn't work and many police officers are there.

An interesting place, always crowded with people shopping. Excellent connection with public transport. Those who like to go shopping will enjoy themselves and spend their money here.

Just the perfect place to take a coffee and enjoy the vibrant mixture of alcoholics, homeless folks and pretty normal citizens;)

Very nice resort

Sadly it's almost always dirty, too many people just don't care about cleaning or taking care of the place, it used to be very pretty but not anymore.....really sad 😢

It's a nice place and Mannheims centerpiece and crossroad to all directions. Despite recent restrictions on car traffic the police does not seem to enforce them strongly which makes the pedestrian experience somewhat more dangerous than it should have to be.

Nice location, and very interesting for kids during the Christmas season: there are automated animated tree, Snow queen and other tales from the Brothers Grimm. Do not miss it if you are in Mannheim in a December.

It has potential as a nice outdoor place to hang out, but people throwing food to Pigeons just make everything look disgusting.

Its okayish place..not very lively in side. However its quite crowded in front of Paradeplatz

Really beautiful place. Worth visiting as tourist.

This place is done up several times a year, such as during Karneval and Christmas market periods, although on a smallish scale. At other times of the year, it's just a nice place to walk past and you'll hardly spend too much time here.

The fountain is very nice, however the buildings around less. Itis worth a quick look, but not a detour.

Anyone that likes to just sit and observe/enjoy the everyday ongoings/lives of a medium sized German inner-city populace; this is your place. It is often nice to become submerged in a foreign place. Yes, there are many problems in Germany. I am happy that they are not my problems. I will be leaving this behind soon.

It's okay, one of the nice places in Mannheim (not so many). You can find lots of people, a beautiful fountain, supermarkets, the VRN center, shops, etc.

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautifully decorated environment around an even more beautiful fountain. It is surrounded by various cafes and is always surrounded by people.

Best platz in mannheim

Very lively place in the heart of Mannheim. Grt place for shopping and have good restaurants in the proximity too.

So, this place is so good to be real and easiest possible hangout place for the evenings, sitting there and feeling the breeze and as ite is at the centre of shopping zone you can find everything nearby withing few minutes of walk. Spending some time in the evening here feels refreshing after a hectic day with busy schedule.

The central square of Mannheim. In the physical middle of the city centre, this plaza is surrounded by shopping and dining opportunities, ranging from clothing to general department stores to Kiosks and an Asian Restaurant. Fairly nice fountain in the middle, just don’t let your kids play in it. You also will experience plenty of beggars if you are on your own and resting. The main thing is that the Paradeplatz is one of the main hubs of the local tram network, a lot of L lines operating in Mannheim intertwine here.

The place is really crowded at times and is located in the centre where you can feel the multicultural Mannheim. Have very good public transportation connection and also the random musicians make this an undeniable place for the people lovers. Fountain located here have sculptures that are very detailed and holds history dating back to 18th century.

Had the amazing experience of watching the Pride parade here. We danced to the tunes and loved the music.
