Impressive place. A true place to commemorate an outstanding personality

There is no real park to be found. But it is good to place a monument for Rizal here. Plus his friends and teachers. You know Blumentritt as a Manila Subway station.

Jose Rizal is considered the national hero of the Philippines. He stayed in Germany while studying.

Literally cried in tears the moment I was here. It's always been my dream to visit him as well as in Heidelberg, but as I went to the park with my boyfriend, it made me a bit disappointed that the park seems to be sad. Anyway, I hope in the future there will be lots of tourists to come there and reminisce the things he had contributed for the Philippines.

We visited the place on 1990.About 25 miles from Heidelberg.I think this is where he finished Noli Me Tangere.Filipinos should go and see this park dedicated to our national hero.Would go back when I get to visit Germany again.

We went there to visit the Philippines' National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.

Whenever we have a visitor (family, friends from PH), we make sure to visit Dr Jose Rizal. But please move his statue with a better background instead of the halle.

Loving it coz of Rizal. As for the place, its clean well-kept. Its small tho, no garden, only a small pool where his monument it. Very kind of Germany to allow this. Thanks!
