More a collection rather than a museum. Almost no accompanying texts, no concept, no history. The price is not corresponding to what it is.

Very interesting and catchy place to see, here in Mannhaim. You can take a look at the museum of packaging and take a trip back in time. Funny how things are changing in nowadays but sometimes not sure if it is the best direction.

A small, but fun museum! Ideal for a quick visit while in the city centre. Lots of interesting objects.

Straight 5/5 for a museum you would include into your plans as the cultural dessert or educative snack en route, but not as your journey's main course. You'll get all the basic information you need for the subject matter here (as, for example, common history of packaging, materials used in different periods, modernist design) with interesting exhibits on about four average living room-seized exhibition spaces. The walk through the exhibition took me about an hour - not too long, not too short. Exactly what you'd want on a rainy day between hostel checkout and train departure after lunch.

Pretty nice and small but the price is off (5 euros) and none of the descriptions are in any other language than German. Also, I would have expected for some of the packaging machines to be working (it would be very unteresting for kids), but no. The only reason this is getting 3 stars and not 2, is because there was chocolate at the reception.

The museum is pretty small and all the captions & texts are in German. Appart from that, the items exhibited are pretty interesting and the entrance price is more than reasonable.

The museum is very small. Filled with old german vintage packages. You can get a student discount for 4 euroes. Overall, was not really impressive, visit only if you have plenty of time or if it's on your way

This is exactly the type of museum that is fun to discover. Most cities have their typical history museums, but this packaging museum is rare, quirky and fun. I would have appreciated English descriptions, since my German vocabulary is very limited. But I can't remove a star because it IS in Germany.

Great unique experience. It used to be a church but now they have turned it to a small but interesting museum. It shows the history of packaging which I think it’s a creative idea. The entrance fee was 4 euro for student and the staff was super nice

Fun place to visit if you have an interest in packaging design and/or development. It’s a small exhibition but supported by big packaging companies. The host was telling passionately on the exhibitions.
