We come to this hotel and ask for a free rooms, but receptionists answer that they haven't free room. We go out from the hotel and see on booking that they have free rooms for tonight. Well, it seems that hotel do not want to earn money or this is a hotel with "face control" and if receptionists dont like you he do not give you a roon. Not recommended! Thanks God, there are not one hotel in a city, so we choose another one with more friendly staff.

Everything you need from a hotel: central position, walking distance to train station, city center, restaurants and tourist attractions. Very friendly staff expecially the gentleman who take care of the breakfast and checkouts. Very spacious rooms and bathroom with minibar, hairdryer , soaps, table chairs, wardrobes, mirrors, tv, WiFi. Dated but everything is in working order and clean. Parking right outside the hotel is €1.20 per 20 minutes but after 8pm is free. Cheaper Parking at the Train station parkhaus. Generous breakfast with boiled/scrambled eggs, Frikadellen, vegetables. Cold meat and chees, yogurt, cereals, rolls, jams and mini Muffin/cakes. We'll definitely come back here on our next trip to Mannheim.

Stayed here in 2017. Absolutely not an enjoyable experience. WiFi does not work, rooms have run down student accommodation feel. Very dated. We were renting two single rooms with my course mate because we were visiting the nearby university. He does not speak German and the receptionist did not speak English. So I had to ask for the keys for both, I started with his and the receptionist made a not very considerate comments to me as the “lady that cannot be staying over with the gentleman here”, and I had my own room booked. Also they still have physical keys and *demand* that you hand those over when you leave the hotel. Maybe things have changed, but as it was - would absolutely not recommend, we left without even staying the last prepaid day.

A hotel very close to Mannheim train station. Initially we got a room close to the roof, but the manager was very kind and changed it for us. Impeccable cleanliness in the room and in the restaurant. With the Wi-Fi signal it is more difficult, in our room on the 4th floor it was not at all. I hope they will solve this problem in the future.

The hotel is in a fairly poor state and should be urgently renovated. My room was small and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The only positive things to comment on are the central location in Mannheim and the good internet connection.

The hotel is centrally located and reasonably priced. Breakfast is very rich for the price and recommend. Service is very direct and no nonsense. I am not sure what the level of English of the personnel is. Also the hotel had been clearly a smokers hotel and you can still smell that.

We got a free hotel from the Deutsche Bahn because all the trains to the North are cancelled, we got 3 different rooms because all rooms smelled like smoke. Now we booked room in the hilton next door, so much better! I will never stay here!

The worst night of my life - my first experience in a crematorium. Very hot room under the roof. The beds are inconfortable, the bathroom is a sauna. (free room given by DB because of the cancelation of our train)

Amazing kind and polite staff, decent English but very friendly and polite. A bit dated, but incredibly clean hotel, rooms, bathrooms. Decent breakfast, super fast wifi throughout he hotel. Stayed for two nights and they were super cool. Definitely recommend this place

Small but Very well maintained rooms, great location, reasonably well priced. This hotel is run by a family. So, feels warm and comfortable unlike the commercial hotels.

Terribly rude hotel personnel! Did not speak English and was remarkably unhelpful and rude. The wifi did not work reliably, and when it finally did, he did not receive my gesture to use Google translate to communicate with him. He then ignored me, avoided eye-contact, and refused to acknowledge my presence when I tried to get help. I became stranded here due to a train delay; it should not be uncommon that people will need to print tickets (I needed to print new ones!) but there is no printer and he ignored my query where I could find a printer! Incredibly unfriendly, inhospitable, and just plainly rude.

Bed is confortable. And location is amazing. However, it's a little bit noisy at night. And the room is not really clean.
