This beautiful place is located right next to the neckar river. What a great view. I visited the place twice within a week. The food is amazing. Just finger licking. And the service is very welcoming and fast. Would definitely recommend everyone.

She is still talking about you 3 days later 😘 Once again I visited this location with 2 over 90 year olds this afternoon (15.8.). The gentlemen serving us were just marvellous. Very enjoyable terrace alongside the river. The bar is located in the city center but in a quiet alley. The staff is very friendly and food is great.

Cosy atmosphere, big portions of food, you can sit outside when the weather is good. We liked it quite a lot.

Pretty well done cocktails. Good quality pub food and very nice attention from the bartenders.

Stayed the night and had some drinks at the bar downstairs. The room was clean and the bathroom was also clean. The bar had a good atmosphere, beer was good (as expected in Germany), and they seemed to have a large selection of cocktails.

Nice comfortable place with excellent food. The burger was perfectly medium rare with a crispy sour-dough bun. And a huge portion of wedges. The staff was very attentive even though the place was packed. Definitely recommend!

The restaurant is located besides the river. The interior inside the bar is good. There is also place to eat outside too. The staffs there are friendly. The hamburger and the chickenburger are delicious and worth it for around 13,5€ each. Recommended.

Great food and atmosphere, and very central location

Had a great evening in the beer garden looking out on to the Neckar River. Sweet potato fries were delicious. Service and online booking were excellent. Will definitely come back again for another visit.

Try to get a corner room… The big room… The ventilation is much better than… The room is Spartan but clean and has everything you need. Shared bathroom was clean… But a lot of stairs to walk up four flights in fact. We had issues with the TV… That we’re not dealt with… So be prepared… TV only German and not very many stations.This might be an issue if you have children.

More a cafe than a hotel or hostel. Run into interesting people from university. Plenty of covered outside seating. Fun place located close to Bismarck Plaza with transportation.

Great location and food, the place offers some great burgers! They need to change their music from the Britney Spears collection though.. doesn't fit the Hemingway name

It’s not my first time visiting the place, always had a good experience. Today, we went for a friend’s birthday, their brunches are always very delectable. However, paying for each and every bread basket is a bit of pain, when you take in account that one basket is just enough for one person. Nevertheless the ambiance is quite cosy, I highly recommend visiting the place on a summer evening with some friends over a drink.

We grabbed drinks here but it was a cool spot. Very friendly staff and some good snacks as well.

The service was very good. The burgers were excellent and so were the coffees and cocktails. They have vegan and vegetarian options and they also have vegan milk(oat/soya) for your coffee.

After hours of searching for good location too eat something small we found this restaurant. Very nice weitresses, food is delicious, and the view is lovely. Next time in Heidelberg this gonna be our must visit spot!

Easily one of the best places to eat and relax by the Neckar in Heidelberg. Didn’t eat here that often but when i did the service was always good and the food was excellent and consistent. The cocktails are good too.

Massive portions, great food, and a fabulous seasonal asparagus menu 🙌 Would highly recommend!

GO THERE FOR DRINKS!! Their Lily Berry is top notch because they always use fresh berries not frozen ones. I am a huge weissbier fan and usually could not decide which one to order and I ordered both! Location next to Neckar! It is the best place to go in a hot summer HD day. However, I am not a fun of their foods. It is a great place for appetizers.

We stopped for apéro, and found the service very friendly and the story about Hemingway interesting. The patatas bravas were very good and the drink portions were quite generous. Only downside was being seated in the smoking area outdoors as we didn’t make a reservation ahead of time.

Cocktails are great and the price is okay considering the nice location. The food is good, and especially if you’re with a group as they have options to serve everyone. Vegan and vegetarian options. I enjoy visiting this place, although it’s hard to find a seat during the busy season.

We had tapas here, they were okay. Some pimientos de padron were partly raw. We had patatas bravas served with aioli instead of the usual spicy tomato sauce. The cocktails are good.
