My wife and I had dinner here a couple of months ago. It was not very busy, so it was very easy to have a conversation while we had a glass of wine and enjoyed our meals. The service was fantastic and the food was very good. I would highly recommend Alchimia.

Unusual restaurant (presentation, concept) with excellent cuisine. There is only a small menu with starters, main courses and desserts but these are of a high standard. There is also a good wine list. The service is casual (which is a positive) but competent and extremely friendly.

Okay, the 80's decor is a little strange and yes, a bucket of paint wouldn't hurt the walls, but none of that matters when you get the food. Great cuisine, great service, a great place (not only) for a nice evening for two.

Alchimia is our favorite in Mannheim for truly outstanding food... or I should say: dining! The ambience is also great - great for a really nice evening, be it as a couple or in a group. We have been going there for many years (including for the department's Christmas party) and are always very satisfied. The cuisine is very creative. And when you see that top-class cuisine is on offer here, the prices still seem modest. In short: we can highly recommend a visit there.

Highly recommended for connoisseurs of good food. Everything comes to your plate fresh and excellently prepared. Not suitable for small budgets and lovers of large/hearty portions.

Light classic dishes, smaller portions as appetizers, also vegetarian food, everything freshly prepared to the highest standard with market products, iconic ambience in a spacious, cozy restaurant. Absolutely recommended.

The food was very tasty, the service was also friendly and attentive, but the dining room was very dingy, the formerly white curtains were full of unsightly stains and dust, there were cobwebs on the ceilings... a shame...
