To be honest the food looks much better than it tastes and the quality was just OK. There are much better restaurants for sushi in Mannheim. The ambiance is nice and the service was really quick and friendly but I don’t think I would give the place a second go .. it was just overpriced for the quality and quantity.

Unfortunately everything was very messy, the service was chaotic, the first weiter took our order and forgot to pass it to the chef and also to bring our drinks, after a log wait we had to order everything again and wait for a long time. The starters came cold, they didn't bring us plates, the sushi was not that fresh and with this strong after taste of fish. The restaurant was on our list for a long time and it was very disappointing. Definitely not coming back.

Nice location and decor. My vegetables gyoza were presented in a scenic way, they were light and delicate although not warm. My maki rolls were a bit smaller than average but good. The mayonnaise based sauce on the plate was perhaps a little westernization of the sushi but not invasive. The Sapporo beer was honest, the place could improve a bit about the beer offer or at least invest in some lager beer glasses.

The Mojto was quite bitter, due to an I suppose cheap Barcadi and too much of the matcha. It wasn’t sweet or refreshing at all. The Edamame came with a tasty sauce which I’ve never seen before, however the beans itself were very dry and flour-like?? The Ice Mochi wasn’t that great either, more Ice than Mochi tbh. My sister had a sushi roll and didn’t really like the rice, they were also not very generous with the filling, which is sad for paying a lot of money. Overall an okay experience but the food didn’t meet up the expectations!

The sushi isn’t fresh. We ordered the freestyle and it was a true freestyle as the sushi was stuffed with chicken! There were no tuna, or shrimps. The sushi tastes bad. It had a strong fishy smell. It’s not authentic at all. I’d say it’s one of the worst sushi places I’ve tried in my life and I’m a person who eats sushi quite often! The service was excellent though and the waiter with the glasses was super polite and tried to make it up and bring us a second dish of sushi but the taste was still the same. Bad bad bad taste. I don’t recommend this place at all!
