Jamia Islamia Arabia Jama Masjid of Amroha is one of the distinguished and high ranking historical Islamic institutes, which was established in 1296 A.H. on the advice of Hazrat Maulana Qasim Nanotawi, where after 8 years from the date of its establishment, his special student, chief of religious scholars Hazrat Maulana Syed Ahmad Hasan Muhaddis Amrohi was appointed as the head of Mudarrisin and worked for nearly 30 years and satisfied the thirst of prophetic knowledge of thousands of religious scholars so high that this Jamia became one of the most distinguished and unparalleled institutes of Islamic learnings in India.  : After the death of Hazrat Muhaddis Amrohi, his renowned student and the commentator of Quran Maulana Hafiz Ahbdur Rahman Amrohi who had benefitted from Hazrat Nanotawi and Hazrat Gangohi and also a Khalifa of Haji Imdadulla Muhajir Makki (may Allah have mercy upon them), was appointed as his successor. Besides these two great personalities, Sheikhul Islam Hazrat Maulana Husain Ahmad Madani (may Allah have mercy upon him) too worked in this institute as the Sheikh-ul-Hadees. Mujahid-e-Millat Hazrat Maulana Hifzur Rahman served as manager of the said institution for quite a good time. Hakeemul Islam and the pride of Ideals Hazrat Maulana Qari Mohammad Tayyab (former manager of Darul 'Uloom of Deoband) also studied the Tajweed here at the hands of the world-renowned reciter of the Quran Qari Ziauddin Allahabadi , the writer of the book "Ziaul Qira-at". By Allah's mercy the Islamic education upto the course of "Daura-e-Hadees" is uninterruptedly being imparted in this institute for a period of more than 125 years. At present the education system of the Jamia (complete from all respects) consists of the departments starting from the primary Arabic education to Daura-e-Hadees, Specialisation in Islamic Jurisprudence and Deliverance of Islamic legal opinion, Specialisation in Arabic language and Specialisation in the commentary on Quran. Thousands of the religious scholars, godfearing people, preachers of Islam, calligraphers and muftis graduated from this Jamia, are imparting the education to the people both in India and abroad.
