First visit this evening and ordered two tandoori paneer kebabs on naan. Stacks of salad and loads of paneer. Extremely tasty. Helpful staff who answered my zillion questions. Clean environment and easy parking. Would highly recommend.

That's a big YES. First time we've ordered, the choice wasn't really for us, but now we had pizza and kebab Southern Fried Chicken witch chips and couldn't ask for more. Beautiful big portion for a reasonable price and proper chipy chips. Definitely will be ordering again 👌

Food here is amazing!! The service is always excellent and I can’t wait to go back. We prefer our pizza with less cheese and they always add right amount!! The portion sizes are extremely generous and it’s definitely value for money.

Wow! In our local area there is very limited vegan/vegetarian options, so we travel 40 mins just to come to the VShack. Found it by chance, but what a find! Very street food vibe, the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the food, everything is cooked fresh and Is piping hot every time we have been. If its Kebabs, Pizza or Southern fried chicken that takes your fancy its all delicious......the biggest thing is they are proper chips like from the chip shop which for a vegan is a rare find! Five star all the way and we will return again and again.

Even though I have marked it a 4/5 I will 100% be going back... Here is why... To have a takeaway suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans first of all is amazing to have locally. I have been a vegetarian 15 years now and I know I can order from here and there will be no meat contamination which is amazing. I ordered for myself, my Fiancé and my parents. 2 of us are Vegetarian and 2 of us are meat eaters. We ordered the Shahi Paneer Curry (Comes with a Naan), 1 Halloumi Burger which was a meal deal with chips and a drink, 1 Classic Burger and 1 lot of chips. Everything was really tasty and even my Dad who doesn't normally have Vegetarian food really enjoyed his classic burger. We put on the notes what sauces etc we wanted off and on and they were followed everything correctly. We did feel like we had to reheat the curry and chips when they arrived as they were not piping hot but we thought this might be the case as we have ordered from another place near heatherton (to Mickleover) and had to reheat their food too so I believe it is the distance between them and us at home, but that's ok as it still saves us cooking and is a lovely treat. The drink from the meal deal was also forgotten but V Shack quickly provided a couple of options on how to fix it which we really appreciated. The food itself was lovely and they were good portions, the curry was just over £11 but it was split between 2 people and there was plenty! It was a bit Spicer than we though even though it is listed as mild, I had to quickly get some water at one point but it was still lovely. Plus the Naan bread was great as well. My partner enjoyed his Halloumi burger and the classic burger was enjoyed too, the chips were also very nice. The food may have arrived luke warm but the owners of V Shack are really "on it" when it comes to trying to fix the problem and trying to sort out their own delivery options as sometimes Uber eats delivered to multiple places on the way. I can't wait to try it again and try some of their other options, I will then review it again 🙂

This place seems to be OK on weekends but I would avoid during the week or whenever they are not busy. During the week I have experienced reheated food. Dry chips and vegan food that tastes like rubber. On weekends their food is great but for the prices they charge I am really disappointed for the lack of quality during the week

I've just had the best vegan pizza I've EVER had. The last few weeks I’ve had the absolute best doner kebab ever! The staff are all lovely and knowledgable and understand the need for good meat free fast food, while at the same time keeping the food options. Food is fresh and plentiful. The premises are stylish and clean. I’m slowly working through the menu safe in the knowledge that I can have anything at all. Well done to all concerned. Make sure you don’t change. We do a 20 mile round trip to get our Friday night takeaway and it s so worth it.

We have been to V Shack a few times now since they first opened and cannot fault the quality of the food and service. The staff are very polite and friendly and I particularly enjoy the Tandoori Paneer Pizza and the Masala chips. I have no hesitation recommending them.

Have ordered from V shack since they first opened, love the food, so it's always our go to place for a weekend takeaway , always fresh , hot and tastes amazing. Definitely the best veggie kebab we've had and loads of other decent options to choose from too . Well done for bringing a really good veggie/vegan takeaway to Derby , it was much needed ! 👌

V Shack is an amazing takeaway. As non vegetarians, we were apprehensive but now V Shack is our favourite. The food is always beautiful and unlike other takeaways doesn't leave you feeling rubbish after due to the high quality. The staff are always so friendly and helpful too, if you haven't tried it yet I highly reccomend.
